Nice hotel in a great location. Staff was extremely helpful. Nice room with a large modern bathroom. Breakfast was great.

I requested a room NOT near a swing door in my online booking request and that is exactly what they gave me when I arrived! However they did their best to change it and I was very satisfied with the room in the end..

Having paid for an executive suite and then having to pay a supplement for having breakfast in the restaurant was rather steep!!

So much! Staff, bed, room, shower, bath, staff again, breakfast, chef, bar staff, everyone!

Leaving

Hotel OK. Staff willing but many had little experience. Location great unless you were driving, then it was a nightmare. Valet service was absolutely necessary and was incredibly expensive. Food excellent.

The weekend crowds were horrible (coarse,loud, destructive, and didn't care where they dropped their trash or where they vomited). We were disgusted. We had trouble controlling the temp in the room.

Ideally situated, clean, comfortable and friendly.

Needs upgrading. Rooms look stale and carperts etc need changing

our conformation said our room would be ready for check in a 3 oclock but it wasn't ready until 4.15,very dissapointing

The Hotel's location was second to none and I found the staff helpful and courteous.

The bar prices are horrendous! I paid over £15 for a large vodka and orange and a pint of lager. For a luxury hotel, I thought the carpet in the room I stayed in looked grubby with stains.

The massage on our last day was fantastic. The Irish girl with red hair on reception was very friendly. Housekeeping team always said hello when passing.

The gym facilities

the room wasnt cleaned porperly cobwebs on the ceiling and the floor in the bathroom was filthy. The fact they charged for wifi in the rooms was obscene and the fact they took £50 a night for insurance is a con as it just sits in there account gathering interest for a week

Great location, nice hotel

There were a lot of stag and hen parties staying at the hotel and it was noisy during the night. Rooms were also very warm and aircon noisy.

The staff were fantastic. Great relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We don't usually like "big chain" hotels and would avoid them but this was in the right place and excellent value for money.

the hotel itself was lovely and the location very central. we did not eat at the hotel so unable to comment on the food. the room was spacious and clean

We have an logged an official complaint with the Hilton spa directly. we paid for a Sports massage to only be given a relaxation massage and the therapist even claimed she was not qualified in this area to give this treatment. we have requested a refund as the service was not up to standard, yet the staff remain very unhelpful, extremely aggressive on the telephone and uncooperative. we are seeking legal advice. i would not recommend the hilton cardiff again as a result of this issue.
