Very efficient and friendly staff
A bit noisy past midnight with people drinking outside
Location, decent facilities,
Internet doesn't work, you have to pay
Very kind staff and fun atmosphere - feels like you can have a chat with anyone. Free breakfast, plus dinner on Tuesday nights, and pub crawl was super of fun!
Sometimes noise level a bit high because of central location, but really can't be helped given the location is so good.
Friendly staff Room was spacious for a( sleep 6 room) Clean Walking distance to all shops and bars.
Due to its excellent location there was a lot of noise from the nightlife people.
The rooms were clean and held enough space for your stuff to be stored nearly and away from others to avoid mix-ups. The beds themselves were better than I expected which is to say they were enough to sleep comfortably. The blankets were an especially good treat when it came to comfort. Overall it was better than the hotel I later stayed at in London which cost me almost three times as much.
The pillows were a bit tiny. I had to fold mine three times just to have a comfortable sleeping position but it worked out.
Really nice hostel and really clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Really nice the outside patio
location, friendly staff, atmosphere, near-by train station
initial information does not coincide with the conditions; price is high for such quality of facilities
The bunk bed creaked all the time either I or the guest below myself moved,
Location Space Kitchen facilities light breakfast included
This was my first time at a hostel so I was unsure what to expect however Hatters was a good place to start! The staff were friendly & were able to help with any enquiries. We stayed in an 8 bed dorm which is a good size. The roommates were friendly & we made conversation easily. The common room & outside area were nice. The location of the hostel was perfect as it is right in the centre of Manchester & a decent price for such a good location.
There were no bath mats provided which was a bit of an issue once 7/8 people had showers but when asked, the staff provided us with one. Also only one window opened which was a bit of an issue when the room got really stuffy.
No lift, noise from outside at night
Hatters is become one of my recommendations in Manchester for anyone. The staff were lovely and friendly. It's location was not too far from the city centre which made it so easier.
We stayed for 2 night, one in a twin room, awesome!! Nice clean room with comfy beds and quite at night! Second night we had a 4 bed dorm, beds a bit uncomfy but totally fine!! Staff was amazing, helpfull and kind!!
Breakfast is ok, it's very simple so if you want a proper meal maybe eat out, for me it was good enough!!
Great staff, always helpful. Very central in the city, never a big walk anywhere. Good lounge/chill out area with games etc. Great showers and bathrooms.
Matress was really uncomfortable and when you moved even slightly the bunk bed made loud noises. I asked for an extra pillow but apparently they had know spare within the hostel. The room was very dusty
Staff help us in organizing our trip
Cleaness of the bed
take time to check-in
I would mark comfort as a excellent but I couldn't sleep well as there were some loud people in the corridor just by my room.
Very noisy and very busy in the weekends. En-Suite Double room was difficult to ventilate and didn't have a fan or air conditioning.
The location was really good, close to the city centre, Northern Quarter pubs and bars and main bus station!!
Cleaning during the weekend was needed as well.
The shower facilities were amazing and the overall facilities was excellent.
Pillows were very flat
We were not very happy, it was much too loud at night. is due to the fact that a part of it is a kind of youth hostel. We won't be back
Best price, Wide room, Kind receptionist, Place, Available kitchen
Not big kitchen(for breakfast)
I stayed in a dorm with 4 bed bunks and private bathroom. It was very clean, both the room and the bathroom. The breakfast was also good, with toasts, coffee, cereals and butter. Having complimentary coffee (instant) whenever you wanted was great.
