Score from 588 reviews Good
the breakfast, the smoking area, the location, the friendly stuff
no curtains on the bed, rooms too small, high prices, wifi wasn't working
Uncomfortable, noisy, there is not lifter. Expensive
Love the warmth of the accommodation and the people. The free breakfast and Wifi/ Computer access and great mix of people.
Hated the location (tucked next to a random launderette) and tiny sign and door with no receptionist to be seen. This posed a real security issue for me. It should be easier to see, like the one in Newton street and the stairs- no lift access for suitcases/ wheelchairs- is a BIG mistake.
It's near the center.
We stayed on the 3rd flooor (attic), with no elevator. The carpet was dirty, the towels had a awfull smell, was an old room, the breakfast was a joke (bread, butter and orange juice). The area was noisy with many clubs near by. I will not reccomend, specially with the price asked, worst combination.
Perfect central location
Bathrooms are not well equiped, some shelves to put clothes/stuffs in a dry area while having a shower could make life easier. Breakfast could be sligtlhy better for the rates that are applied in this hostel (eg something else than butter and strawberry jam to toast)
The staff were polite and friendly
The young party goers still very loud at 5am
The place was wel situated People were helpful
Bathroom not clean enough... Unfortunately. Need earplugs to have quiet silence, I had them.
Only the kitchen and the staff are good but there are too many stairs. We need a lift!
The floor in the rooms is built with bad and cheap materials, it is lose and produce too much noise when we walk. There is not lift, too many stairs!!!
Most hostels give you what you pay for! This gives you more than what you pay for!
The shared bathroom is clean and convenient for us to use.
The kinds of food provided in the shared kitchen are homogeneous.
Accessibility and superb breakfast menu.
Cleanliness can be improved on. Especially in the shared bathrooms.
Close to Piccadilly station, minutes walk to the city centre
no wifi signal in the room
Reasonable price coming at good location
Need more space to socialise
The attitude of receptionist is so bad
Very efficient and friendly staff
A bit noisy past midnight with people drinking outside
I am over 60, but not in retirement, and I appreciated the chance to visit the Labour Party Conferen exceptionally considerate management, supplying sockets for recharging, clean bathrooms drinking chocolate! maps access to hostel after 11pm
having to leave when it was time to go
Location, decent facilities,
Internet doesn't work, you have to pay
Staff was very helpful. The bed was comfortable. I slipped on a bedroom with 10 bed and people were very friendly and respectful. You can take free coffee, tea and chocolat all day in the kitchen.
Friday and saturday night are very noisy because windows are single glazing in the bedroom and outside there are pubs and clubs. So, many drunk people scream in the street to 3-4 am.
Very kind staff and fun atmosphere - feels like you can have a chat with anyone. Free breakfast, plus dinner on Tuesday nights, and pub crawl was super of fun!
Sometimes noise level a bit high because of central location, but really can't be helped given the location is so good.
The breakfast was very poor and there were not enough seats in the cafetaria. I expect a little more comfort when paying 157 euros for 2 nights for 2 people...
Friendly staff Room was spacious for a( sleep 6 room) Clean Walking distance to all shops and bars.
Due to its excellent location there was a lot of noise from the nightlife people.
The rooms were clean and held enough space for your stuff to be stored nearly and away from others to avoid mix-ups. The beds themselves were better than I expected which is to say they were enough to sleep comfortably. The blankets were an especially good treat when it came to comfort. Overall it was better than the hotel I later stayed at in London which cost me almost three times as much.
The pillows were a bit tiny. I had to fold mine three times just to have a comfortable sleeping position but it worked out.
Really nice hostel and really clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Really nice the outside patio
location, friendly staff, atmosphere, near-by train station
initial information does not coincide with the conditions; price is high for such quality of facilities
