Everything except Wifi.
Very poor Wifi
Good location ,great big bed and good food .
Vegetables were not cooked , broccoli was very hard
Restaurant - good quality food, tasty, fair value
Broken light in room - wasn't fixed after I requested it to be changed, requested an express checkout- filled out the appropriate paperwork on checking in but added charges popped on a bill put through the door so then had to queue to get sorted, still awaiting my receipt to be emailed :(
Enjoyed my stay room was nice, a little chilly at first but soon warmed up. Breakfast was wonderful, parking was cheap compared to other hotels I have stayed at.
The room was execellent staff was great
Spa, breakfast, staff- all very good. Hotel clean and modern.
Kept awake until 3.00am by very noisy guests in room below. Had to go down to reception to complain at 2.00am. The music was then turned down, but voices continued to be very loud until 3.00. Could there be signs asking guests to be considerate towards others after 11.00pm?
room service is a bit doggy .... We left hotel and told guys to clean the room and clear the bath. But when arived back late everything was as it was left.
Nice private pool
We was given an old room that had no lights, when the hotel Tryed to fix this problem the bulbs starting sparking while we was in the room. after reporting the lights we was given a room with working lights.
The food in the restaurant was excellent in the evening and the morning. The staff are always helpful. Beds are pure luxury.
Very good value for money! And one of tge staff called bev gave us a drinks voucher each and free sweets to the room because we were 1st time stayin at the hilton! Brilliant! Will stay here again!
Close to M6 junction 2.
Expensive bar and food. Parking charges.
I have been a irregular visitor to Hilton Coventry preferring the Holiday Inn across the road. But the times I have stayed it has been acceptable but recently I have become more aware of the problems. Overpriced with a focus on how much money more they can get from their guests.
Fact that for the first time in over 50 stays that they cheekily added Car park fees to my bill without explanation. Wifi poor, noisy rooms. Same menu for room service for last year. Room service finishing at 10pm which may be acceptable for some but when you work a long day and want a uninterrupted swim (meaning last hour) you stand no chance. Fortunatly there is Burger King, McDonalds and various other chains across the road. That although I called within the given time they refused to move my stay to the following week, stating that should I not stay I would still be charged £108 and when I asked for my stay to change to the following week they advised of the nightly rate change...guess how much additional I would have to pay, you guessed it £108. The parking barrier was not issuing parking tickets upon arrival requiring you to push the buzzer constant until reception staff could be bothered to answer. I sat behind a car who after 5 mins and back breaking stretching to reach the buzzer on the machine, from his car, was finally let in. Thinking they would then leave it open for all. No, that would of required common sense, so as I followed the car the barrier quickly came down again. 5 more minutes if pressing the buzzer (don't forget this was seconds after someone else) when finally he did answer the question he asked was "Yes? How can I help you?" - why on earth would anyone press the buzzer other to gain entry. The location of the Hilton is alittle far for kids to play ding dong dash, or Jehovah witnesses. Gym changing rooms which require a code to get in, which the staff begrudging provide, looking at you in utter disgust as you should know!? That's if you can find a member of staff and get a towel. But once you crack the secret code and gain access to Etutopia my god what a place.
the staff were fab and the hotel was close to all amenities
the bed was too hard and you could feel the springs on mattress travellodge beds are 100 times better and comfy
Good functions room. Easily accessible from the motorway.
Slow reception staff
A relaxing break
Check in took longer than it should as there was only 1 member of staff on reception.
Good sized, comfy room.
Situated in a cul de sac on an industrial estate. High room price and everything is extra: Parking, WiFi, Water, etc.
Cleanliness Excellent breakfast
The quality of the buffet food was bland and over cooked. Guests are charged car parking Good service from the staff was hit and miss...
The food and room service
No one knew what the gyms was open or closed in the weekend! I got 4 different answers from different staff! Staff at reception all talking amongst themselves instead of seeing customers
absolutely the very worst bar/restaurant service I ever experienced in a Hilton hotel and I visit 20+ per year. a shame. they even tried to charge us 5 pound parking per night, even though we came and left by a cab booked by the hotel. they did this to our entire team so not a loose incident. rooms ok, service horrible (not reception, thats ok)
THE STAFF ARE EXCELLENT AT THIS HOTEL, VERY FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT. A GOOD PLACE TO STAY AND CAN STRONGLY RECOMMEND WHEN STAYING IN THIS AREA
Reception staff were very nice. Room was very comfy
Arrived for breakfast and was greeted by' go and find a seat'...nothing else. So I did, and then was waiting for ages as no one came to see me. So, got up and helped myself then tried to attract someone's attention for a coffee! Neighbours were a bit amorous and I could hear them
Heating didn't work, poor signal for TV and Internet, signage to find exit when leaving the parking poor.
The location was perfect for the Ricoh Arena Stadium.
The room was cold (in particular the bathroom).
The refurbishment of the reception and bar area.
Noise of others returning to their rooms in the early hours and kids running up and down the corridor
Please pass my thank you to your front desk team (a special one to Javier who did my scheck-in) as they were very nice and helpful in all the stages of my stay.
Bedrooms corridors and bedrooms were a bit outdated. Room was cold but portable heater was placed in the room so it was ok.
