Score from 378 reviews Good
Heating didn't work, poor signal for TV and Internet, signage to find exit when leaving the parking poor.
The location was perfect for the Ricoh Arena Stadium.
The room was cold (in particular the bathroom).
The refurbishment of the reception and bar area.
Noise of others returning to their rooms in the early hours and kids running up and down the corridor
Please pass my thank you to your front desk team (a special one to Javier who did my scheck-in) as they were very nice and helpful in all the stages of my stay.
Bedrooms corridors and bedrooms were a bit outdated. Room was cold but portable heater was placed in the room so it was ok.
Location good, breakfast selection good childrens menu well priced
Bedroom tired, needs work, hotel lobby and sitting areas, always full with business meetings ,hotel guests, not catered for,car park always full during the day, with business meetings.
Staff courteous and friendly. Breakfast very good.
I felt the hotel was a little run down for a hilton.
Nice clean well run hotel
Paying to park
Great comfy rooms good breakfast
A dog was in the room opposite and was barking at night
The good staff that were very happy to help us
No tooth paste in bathrooms, dirty carpets, limited socket appliances
The staff were all very helpful and attentive
I was charged £5.00 for parking overnight by the hotel which I find unacceptable
Breakfast as always. Location. Usually very quiet.
Asked for wake up call as had left phone charger at a friends house, the call came straight after i put the phone down. I rang reception they told me sorry we are learning how to do it. The wake up call never came and i woke up late for my appointment. Decided to stay another night and had the rate we booked at honoured which was nice. On leaving we were asked to pay £25 for parking as they had refurbished the dining area and reception. Being a regular and never paying before we found staff rude and a car park pass was thrown onto the desk. The hotel has lost loyal customers we have spent thousands staying and using facilities there and having encountered numerous problems in the past still came back.
Best hotel to ever stay at
Nice rooms and amenities.
I didn't like how the breakfast service was managed. I'm ok with getting out own table but you had to try and catch one of the waiting staff's eye to get any coffee. More disappointingly so was the fact that when we sat down for breakfast one of the mornings it seemed that everyone got asked several times if they wanted juice/tea/coffee and we only got served when we approached a staff member... I also don't think that residents at the hotel should pay for parking!
Everything was really nice from the hotel to the facilities
Excellent Staff, food good.
i liked the treats in the room
I was not impressed at all with the decor the floor hallways were a mess and in desperate need of a coat of paint
It was a lovely hotel with a great feeling and staff were excellent
Other guests knocking on our door at 3.30am in the morning.
Rooms were nice.
Service at reception was very very poor, myself and my wife decided to stay in the room and watch a movie and hsve room service. We purchased a movie but it wouldn't play, phoned the reception many times and all they kept on saying was they had to contact a outside company but they were too busy. After we insisted on getting another room they never booked it out to us so again the TV wouldn't work and when I phoned reception again they said they were too busy and I had to wait. I would never stay here again.
Everything and they even charge twice for parking
Couldn,t fault hotel
Find it awful having to pay to park my car at hotel i,m staying in
Clean room and bathroom, great bed
no water in room unless you paid £3.95, seemed a bit steep
It was clean, great facilities and great staff. I really like this hotel and it would be perfect if those comments below were fixed.
The car park costs, it should be free parking since its private. The bed was very "noisy" and doing a simple thing like just turning over would wake up my partner.
hotel was lovely great facilities and lovely bar area for coffee or drinks. beds very comfortable clean very quiet no noise from traffic great food
having to pay £4 for a bottle of water in the room having to pay for carpark
Met friends for evening meal one meal wrong one never turned up, asked for the missing meal still no meal and no explanation. Went to bed Hungary then to add insult to injury I was charged a service charge on top of the food bill. Will not go back there!
Excellent meal in the restaurant on day one, with great friendly service with a smile.
Room looked jaded and needed refurbishing. Cupboard smelt of sweaty feet. Shower trap looked decidedly unhygienic. Television didn't work. Lack of any form of snack available in the bar between meal times. Charges for parking, unclear and bordering on highway robbery, charging people without cars (no registration no's).
