The price of soft drinks was nothing short of scandalous. As a parent with a young son staying with me it was costing £2.60 for a pint of Becks Vier and £3.99 for a small bottle of Coke. Shocking. Daylight Robbery. Tainted the stay.

Lovely comfortable family room. Oddly, due ot the proximity of a lake, I saw more wildlife (geese, rabbits, swans, herons, water voles, moorhens, ducks, fish) than I have done in ages! Really unexpected, as I had no idea, considering the proximity of Dartford Bridge, that such an effort at conservation had been made - and was so successful. The only negative I can come up with is that I found sandwiches extremely expensive as they started at £9. Other than that, though, extremely pleased with our stay.

We booked a family room (double with a sofa bed), was very pleasantly surprised by the size of the room - have stayed in similarly priced hotels in London and the rooms were barely big enough for the bed, but this room was huge, very clean and comfortable. Also for where it is (Next to the Dartford Crossing) there was little to no traffic noise.

Our room had an adjoining door and the family next door to us were very loud (parents shouting at kids, kids running up and down the corridor, stood outside our room screaming and slamming doors). Was also a little put out at having to pay for parking - i can understand that given the location of the hotel free parking is not practice but it would have been nice as a paying guest for the parking to have been included in the cost of the room (it was only £3)

I liked everything about the hotel, staff were polite and helpful, the room were great and as a bonus there was a gym, sauna, swimming pool.

Had to pay for 2 rooms because we had 3 children,we all fitted in one room fine other room sat empty. What a waste.
