Hilton Dartford Bridge  

Very good location and we were able to check in very late (about midnight). They extended our check out by an hour without any charge and check out was very easy through their fast service. The rooms were lovely, perfect size for 3 of us. Parking was very cheap - only £3 a night, which was one of the main reasons we chose that hotel. Very good for visiting the Lakeside and Bluewater shopping centres in the run up to Christmas.

We didn't have a great view. We weren't expect anything too scenic but it seemed to be part of the back of house of the hotel. Also, there were a couple of functions happening when we stayed and the music was ridiculously loud. We didn't mind so much but it would have been very irritating if we were trying to sleep.

My wife and I have children and don't get much time together, this was a treat to my wife for our anniversary, the hotel was fantastic and made us feel special for a night. Thank you

Staff not very attentive

The staff in the restuarant were fantastic. The food was delisious even though they got my main course a bit rong they gave us both a complimentry drink. The reception staff were very helpful lending me some hair straightners. The corner room we got was large and the added touch of a basket of fruit and a small bottle of wine was lovely.

The spa was a bit of a let down for a hilton hotel also it was quite busy with a few familys with young children. The gym had very little weightlifting machines so was a bit dissapionting for my husband.

We were really impressed with this hotel. The restaurant staff were wonderful, so attentive and helpful. Breakfast and evening meal were something to look forward to, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Overall the whole weekend spent here was a pleasure.

Our bed had a very noisy slightly lumpy mattress but was not enough to complain about! We feel that the £3 per night car park was slightly unecessary as we have never paid for parking at any other hotels.

I did not enjoy my latest visit to this hotel. As I was kept awake all night on/off by a couple having very noisey sex. They had the nerve to put the Do Not Disturb sign on lthe door at about 6.30am

Brilliant service, nothing was too much trouble for the excellent staff and everything was done swiftly and with a smile.

Whatever you do don't eat the food!!! We arrived quite late and this hotel is remote from pubs, restaurants, etc so went for the set buffet as an evening meal. The food was uninspiring and had clearly sat there for a while, plus, an average bottle of wine £27!!!! Breakfast wasn't a lot better and both of us were ill afterwards.

We usually stay at premiers due to funds. On this occasion and based on all criteria we chose hilton dartford bridge because of the 4 star rating but at such a cheap price. Excellent location, fantastic staff except one, great service, fantastic room, would gladly come back to stay and will recommend to friends and family if they can get the room for the same price. When we arrived, the young lady at the counter upset us both by claiming we did not have a reservation. Even after producing the booking number it still took ages and was very embarrasing to eventually be told there had been a glitch in the system. If I was paying the full price for a 4 star, I would have been livid. Early evening, late evening and first thing in the morning kids were screaming and shouting along the corridor. I failed to get back to sleep after being woken and needed a good nights sleep in preperation for the new years evening.

The location was perfect for shopping at Ashford and Bluewater. We got a very good deal for one night with breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Paying £3 for parking (it should be free). Had to revalidate the parking ticket everytime I go out and take another ticket and validate it at the reception (done it three times in one night): not expected from a very good hotel. A general pass for the day of booking may be a better option.
