Facilities and meals
A bit tired looking..needs a bit sprucing up
The great walks in and around the hotel
The whole experience was fabulous and couldn't fault anything about our stay. Food was excellent and facilities great. Will certainly stay again in the near future
Dinner was less than average
Comfort of room and amenities in it. Food and service in restaurant. Lifts.
Lack of information leaflets and maps in entrance and lounge ares by restaurant.
The room was spaces, and clean.
The hotel could do with a lick of paint, and the leisure faculties were in need of updating.
The location and cuisine are hard to beat at any time of the year. The gym and pool were very good as was te friendliness of the staff.
Dunkeld is a stunning location with great walks and good local shops to wander around.
Considering hotel was full over valentine weekend, you would expect the staff to be fully trained to cope - but we had to keep asking for service over dinner, had to ask for the dessert menu, drinks etc. Staff stood around chatting between themselves. Having to go up to a till to pay did not seem right - should have been brought to the table. There were not enough seats in bar areas after to be able to relax. Thought they could have done the hotel up a bit more to reflect valentine, especially over dinner. Menu was different and worth the money but pianist stopped playing at 10pm and after that there was no atmosphere. Fire alarm went off - false alarm- but left a ringing noise which went on throughout ground floor for another hour which forced a lot of guests to retire to their rooms earlier than planned. Next morning breakfast - there was no offer to do eggs different etc. Buffet style only. Okay but not great. Disappointing overall. Prefer Macdonald hotels to Hilton
Beautiful food, very helpful staff and a lovely peaceful setting
The pool was quite cold and the changing rooms could have been cleaner.
The locatioon was great. Staff did all they c9uld to.help us have a nice stay.
There were alot of overseas staff who did not unddrstand english. We had a problem at dinner. Although eventually resolved, it took away the enjoyment.
Relaxed comfortable atmosphere and terrific staff who went out of their way to make my husband's birthday special
Nothing we didn't like!
Staff were very friendly and location was excellent. Service and food were very good
Hotel is a bit tired but still excellent value
The small bedroom, smell of damp in the room, the toilet not flushing, poor wifi, rude staff....
Good location, lovely surroundings, good bed, decent room but could have been cleaner
Poor staff, seem to have been trained to just apologise, dreadful attitude towards veggie/special diet requirements, and in my view they are not doing enough to meet new food regulations when people bring you supposedly veggie dishes with non-veggie ingredients in them!
Liesure centre and fine dining
could not get a wifi signal for love nor money! BT Openzone didn`t do it for me.
Setting, cozy feel
Not being told in advance about being charged £1 to plant a tree.
Food excellent Staff at reception very helpful Lovely quiet location Hotel very welcoming
Bed uncomfortable Felt like they had forgotten to heat the heated pool
Upgraded to a stunning suite. Beautiful walks around the hotel.
Slightly rushed service at dinner. Bathroom in suite was disappointing particularly the weak, lukewarm shower.
A fabulous location. Really good value for money and staff really friendly. Loved the big open fire and recreational activities available was to a high standard.
The hotel looked a bit tired and in need of redecoration. Service and food on one night was a bit disappointing.
excellent dinner and breakfast along with comfort of room in General Wades
two stage wifi process, why?
The weather was snowy and very cold but the hotel was warm and welcoming. We enjoyed a lovely overnight stay using the leisure facilities and eating a lovely meal. Will definitely go back again.
Dunkeld really is a beautiful place to escape to. The Hilton has a very homely feel, with lots of wood panelling and wonderful big comfy armchairs. The food was the best I have had in a Hotel for quite some time, so the DB&B rate is a good plan if you have the option.
We travelled when there was a little snow around and the hotel was a little chilly. It could do with a couple of roaring fires in the lounge areas. The Restaurant was fine, and there was adjustable heating in our room. The rooms are a little bit dated but comfortable.
Warm welcome, spacious room, food excellent, tickwd all the boxes for a relaxing weekend
