Staff were very helpful and welcoming
Area thats all
Room was like a sauna even with no heating on,recommend air con be put in rooms, pillows where terrible for a 4* astablishment, really noisy from 6am onwards with service lift at end of are corridor and staff clearing rooms bang bang bang from 7.30am,wouldnt go back to that Hotel compared to the 5* Hilton in Glasgow they are night and day.
Most things worked OK. Good choices for breakfast. Staff were friendly.
Poor signage for use of staircases for non lift users. One lift was out of order. Toilet did not flush adequately
Convenient for visiting glasgow university. Easy access to glasgow centre for shopping
All the hotel
Very friendly staff. Couldn't have been more helpful. Thank-you. I wish all hotels were as friendly.
The Freindliness and helpfulness of the reception staff
Friendly staff. Helpful concierge. Generous breakfast. well placed for the University and also for excellent restaurants.
The hotel deserves a better bar and restaurant. Both dark (particularly BoVine) and gloomy.
Stayed for 2 nights for Commomwealth Games, location was good, subway station 5 minute walk away and plenty of places nearby to eat.
Very hot while we were there windows don't open very far & road outside was noisy. Air con would have been good
Rooms were small but comfortable, we both slept well again. Staff in the bar were fantastic, had three small children with me for a few hours and the staff were great with them. One of the kids spilled their drink and before I could move one of the staff was there with paper towels. Great location for Ashton Lane and the small shops around the area.
Can't think of a thing.
Good bedroom quality and great buffet breakfast, fresh and plenty of choice. Parking in multi storey opposite
Wifi not always reliable
location, room, outlook, dinner which was very good
most public rooms are at a low level with poor outlook, given the lovely terrace looking over the park which was the original reason and site for the building, breakfast was a bit ordinary, traffic noise could be a problem in front facing rooms
We got married recently in Glasgow and had a fantastic day at the Grosvenor Hilton. The venue, food and staff were amazing and contributed to our memorable day.
The check in process was easy, professional and friendly. The room was comfortable with all the necessaries - iron, hairdryer etc
The cleanlinesa of the room could have been better. The bathroom lacked attention to detail with crusty toothpaste left on the tap from a previous guest. Two of the UHT milk cartons were already open with only 3 white sugars available for two people who love their tea!
Room was a good size, very clean. Staff were very helpful.
No mini bar, no access to bar or restaurant from the hotel. Struggle to get any drinks throughout our stay. Bottle of water in our room was hot due to the room temperature. No air condition.
Great area. Glasgow west end is a lovely area
A hotel like this without air confitioning ??? Thiis is the one then . Heat days you complain to reception and the solution is a last century fan. And may god help you if they provide you a room facing back of the building. Word "noise" can not express it all
Location Breakfast Friendly staff
Good sized well appointed and maintained rooms and facilities. Very good breakfast.
Friendly staff Great location
Great location Had a good view of the gardens Friendly staff Clean and spacious room
Breakfast wasn't particularly good The gym isn't onsite and I wasn't sure where it was
location, staff very obliging, decent housekeeping
Everything except parking
Parking a bit inconvenient
The bed was great had a terrific sleep.
Room was a little small for two people getting ready to go out.
On special request I had said it was for a birthday celebration - didn't get a room upgrade but there was a plate with birthday cake in the room when we got there - lovely gesture.
View of the car park
