Good location, standard Hilton hotel. Staff helpful and friendly
Small room and bathroom, nothing special. Ridiculously overpriced
The heating terrible
The value for money whilst using booking .com great facilities at the hotel & the friendliness of the staff as you would expect from Glasgow breakfast was superb, would definitely use the Hilton again
Staff and west end location
Noise from parties intil midnight. Noise in family room located right next to lifts after midnight. Extremely limited parking. Paying for parking.
Wonderfully comfortable bed. Very helpful staff.
Poor WiFi, lack of TV channels, and temperamental TV remote.
Maybe in an attempt to please some guests, airfreshener or something like that could be smelled in the corridor and lift. Unfortunately, two members of our group easily get headaches from perfumes. We would gladly have, as in the past in the same hotel, renounced this new addition because it did not improve our comfort.
Very plush ,excellent staff. Buffet breakfast just perfect.
De luxe bedrooms(extra cost) really quite small for a 4starrating. The bathroom was TINY with a shower in the bath,no place to place soap etc. but it was just adequate. BIG complaint was the noise. No double glazed windows and the fasteners did or overly close the windows. Offered us one room and the fasteners were actually broken. Changed rooms and only one catch was broken. Too fe d. Up to move again. Big mistake. The room was advertised "Garden view". Unfortunately the garden is across a major. 4 lane road from Glasgow to Dumbarton. The traffic is 24/7 and horrendous noise. We had fire engines, police, ambulances, all with sirens sounding off at all hours, even 3.30 a.m. The rest was just normal city traffic ,non-stop. Managed to sleep for about one hour per night. I forget to mention the noisy drunks outside on the Friday night, well after midnight until the early hours. At 2.30a.m a guy started playing drums very loudly but I think someone shot him after 15 minutes! All in all a truly ghastly stay at a quite exorbitant price. Never again Mr Hilton Premier Inn Malngavie much better Sorry, very very disappointing
Rooms are nice.
Wifi was poor and breakfast was just ok.
Excellent location and lovely breakfast
During one night it was noise on the coridor and we couldn't sleep.
The Hotel was the £15 more per night than the one we usually use and was worth every penny. The staff were local, friendly & very helpful. Everything you would expect from the Hilton name and more. Every floor and room was beautiful and definitely the most comfortable bed I have ever stayed in.
There was no where to hang my socks... Can't think of anything else...
Great location and the staff were most helpful.
Room and double bed were small for a Hilton which coupled with no air conditioning / limited opening windows made sleeping a little uncomfortable.
location, bed, cleanliness, staff, breakfast
tv reception was awful. tv not easy to use. small room and big bed made it difficult to get around room. old draughty windows
I booked this hotel because of it's location.
Very disappointed with the room . small dark and outlook into a back shopping carpark. This used to be a fine place to stay. My room was cold and as discovered the heater did not work and had to get a portable heater into the room. No extra blankets. Have stayed in much better hotels for a lot less cost.
Old world atmosphere
The embarrassment of having my card rejected despite more than adequate funds available Clearly also this had happened before recently Clear management failure to address an ongoing problem
Lovely Hotel. Our room was extremely clean and luxurious and modern. Enjoyed our overnight stay.
Very friendly and professional staff, very clean everywhere, good sized room and bathroom, plenty of clothes storage space. Great location for visiting Uni, near a subway station, good cafes/bars/restaurants/shops all around, Waitrose is next door. Car park on site.
The mattress was hard - we like a firm mattress but this was a bit much even for us! We would expect a fridge in the room of a hotel of this calibre - there was space for one so why not put one in?
communal areas very clean, breakfast good value for money, bar prices reasonable. stayed 2 nights & will probably stay again just because of location.
We had someones dried chewing gum on our room carpet and mould/mlidew round the bath. The room was not dusted during our stay,so we were able to leave a message. oh & the pillows smelled of previous guests.
Liked the warmth of the hotel as you first walk in, also the staff at reception were lovely! Smiley, approachable, polite .. 5* staff.
Our room was nothing more than a glorified premier inn. The bed was solid ! And small (for a double deluxe) the room was absolutely freezing cold. Never stayed the night, left to go home to my own comfortable bed at 8 o'clock. Spent £163.00 to sit and watch tv for an hour in our room.
Good location. Service in bar was good. Staff helpful and friendly.
Street parking can be a bit of a problem
Excellent all round. Spotless very helpful staff and very comfortable
At £150 per night I think its pretty mean to charge for wi-fi. Everybody these days uses the internet. If you are worried about unlimited usage then put a cap on it but at least allow us to download our emails etc without fleecing us for the pleasure...
Great location, decoration was modern but cosy, large comfortable bed, good layout of room, good size of room, complementary water, lovely big windows and high ceiling..
Bit upset after spending so much on a room we arrived to find not even a wee shortbread biscuit or even something to nibble with our tea and coffee. Bit tight of Hilton really. Window latch was broken so one window would not close properly. Noise from Great Western Road meant I needed earplugs to get to sleep.
Location, furniture and bathroom
Greedy hotel management - no free breakfasts, no free biscuits (although in another Hilton hotel in Edinburgh they were) and even a simple bottle of water costs almost £4. None of this is actually a big deal, considering the abundance of shops and cafe's around, so don't worry much about this.
Excellet friendly staff that made our stay brilliant
