The room was spacious and overlooked the botanic gardens.

Internet was £15 per day and i was offered an upgrade on check in,but only for an additional £15 per night. My single occupancy room,without breakfast was expensive at £143.

Location is excellent. Room very comfortable. Breakfast good.

No WiFi in the room which is pretty much a pre-requisite for any hotel these days that wants to attract any sort of business clientele. In fact there was no modem connection in my room either? Lack of internet would prevent me from using this hotel again. Sorry!

The room was far too warm and there were no tea making facilities.

Staff very friendly, room clean, breakfast fresh and hot - located close to where we wanted to be.

Hilton undergoing refurb - this however did not intrude in anyway into our stay - we were put up in one of the recently reburbed rooms which on the whole was well done, unfortunately this had not been done to a very high standard - basin was cracked - shower leaked through cracks in the handle and there were some blisters in the wallpaper ( only noticeable when night lights were on)

The staff were not only very efficient and friendly but looked as if they were genuinely happy to be working there which made for a very pleasant atmosphere.

Excellent staff and lovely food.

No gym or pool.

Stay was too short for us to form a comprehensive opinion - otherwise, our experience was a happy one in terms of the convenient car park, friendly service, good accommodation and a hearty breakfast!

One quibble - 1 choc was missing (?) from the 2-choc complimentary pack.

Brereafast was weak for the money. Orange juice poor. Cooked food good. Fruit not ripe and very little of it. (Melon). But service was good. Room furniture OK but beginning to show its age.

I liked everything about this hotel and will definitely be staying again

One small complaint - in the bovine restaurant the cream sauce on the mussels smelled and tasted disgusting, I could not eat this The croissant bread and butter pudding made up for this - delicious

The lack of air conditioning in our room and the general condition of the furnishings and decor.

We just had a brief one night stay, but we were particurlarly impressed by the friendliness of the hotel staff. We had requested a quiet room due to my daughter taking part in a major athletic even next day.Having complained about disturbance from music being played at a wedding function in the hotel we were changed immediately. In particurlar a very special thanks to Malcolm for his very supportave approach and the lovely recepton staff who took a special interest in my daughter and her athletic event for which she won silver. A very pleasant trip to Glawgow and we hope to come back.
