Dreadful breakfast. Cold greasy, dirty dishes piled on table next to us. A couple came in and asked to be seated further into the dining room as they were frozen. They were told that these tables were set for dinner and were placed beside the door. No residents lounge. Charged £10 for an outdoor car park; access to which was through Waitrose next door.
Breakfast was good. Room was clean. Staff polite and friendly.
Bed was too small for two people. Noise of outside traffic was terrible ! Window area manky and rank ! Double glazing with soundproofing would solve a load of complaints. The company must spend the money to get money...
Great location with a room overlooking the Botanic Gardens. Handy for lots of shops and restaurants and the underground.
Clean comfortable hotel. Breakfast very good. Staff helpful and considerate.
Due to location parking is a problem particularly for disabled guests. The temperature in the hotel was on the cool side. The TV reception was poor. Overall I thought the services on offer were a bit mean given the room price.
We booked a double deluxe room. The room was tiny. Deluxe room should also have had available bath robes, however none available. None of the restruants were open when we arrived at 9:40. Had to eat our meal in our room. Based on this I would not stay or recommend this hotel to anyone
Location was brilliant for the west end, staff were really helpful and friendly.
There was a function on so the noise did not stop until midnight so this was a little inconvenient and took our stay from great, to good. otherwise everything else was Really good
Big quiet room, in the old part of hotel which is beautiful
Starting to look worn and could do with some TLC
Excellent location although needs a little TLC to bring it up too date.
Poor quality breakfast
Warm and comfortable hotel Really good breakfast with wide variety of choice. Lovely food in the restaurant
stylish hotel, with comfortable rooms, very friendly staff and excellent breakfast
Great location, hotel looks very classy on the outside and is matched with a very modern feel inside with rooms and facilities maintained to a very high standard. Staff were excellent and very friendly. Bar service was good and restaurant was first class. Will definitely be booking this hotel again in the future.
Hotel atmosphere very good. Quality of bedroom . cleanliness. Thought full ness of what customers wants. The little extra details of water, jelly beans ironong board, pen and paper in bedroom was delightful. It impressed us and we totally relaxed in minutes.
There was little too much road noise due to single glazing of bedroom.
Clean & comfortable hotel. Decent rooms, huge bed. Good breakfast. Great location in the West End.
Room was cold
Great location, good food and friendly staff
It was noisey on the street outside. Window catches were broken. Only one lift working and then this one broke down.
I have stayed at the Grosvenor many times and it is always a friendly place to stay. I enjoy the location in the west end with its cosmopolitan feel just at the door, but 8 minutes away from the centre of Glasgow via subway.
Bathroom was spacious with a nice shower curtain. Breakfast was satisfactory.
The bar area had the atmosphere of a Weatherspools. Recycle bins permanently positioned in the corridor leading to the bedrooms. The receptionist didn't ask how our stay was. When I booked I emailed with a few requests which were never responsed to. I tried to call the main reception the day before to confirm the special requests. I was passed from one person to the next with no one being able to put me through to the main reception desk in the hotel. Overall, the customer service and the value for money was very poor. I expected so much more from a Hilton hotel.
Comfortable clean warm
Bedroom window didn't close properly hence a lot of outside road noise
Good location, standard Hilton hotel. Staff helpful and friendly
Small room and bathroom, nothing special. Ridiculously overpriced
The heating terrible
The value for money whilst using booking .com great facilities at the hotel & the friendliness of the staff as you would expect from Glasgow breakfast was superb, would definitely use the Hilton again
Staff and west end location
Noise from parties intil midnight. Noise in family room located right next to lifts after midnight. Extremely limited parking. Paying for parking.
Wonderfully comfortable bed. Very helpful staff.
Poor WiFi, lack of TV channels, and temperamental TV remote.
Maybe in an attempt to please some guests, airfreshener or something like that could be smelled in the corridor and lift. Unfortunately, two members of our group easily get headaches from perfumes. We would gladly have, as in the past in the same hotel, renounced this new addition because it did not improve our comfort.
Very plush ,excellent staff. Buffet breakfast just perfect.
De luxe bedrooms(extra cost) really quite small for a 4starrating. The bathroom was TINY with a shower in the bath,no place to place soap etc. but it was just adequate. BIG complaint was the noise. No double glazed windows and the fasteners did or overly close the windows. Offered us one room and the fasteners were actually broken. Changed rooms and only one catch was broken. Too fe d. Up to move again. Big mistake. The room was advertised "Garden view". Unfortunately the garden is across a major. 4 lane road from Glasgow to Dumbarton. The traffic is 24/7 and horrendous noise. We had fire engines, police, ambulances, all with sirens sounding off at all hours, even 3.30 a.m. The rest was just normal city traffic ,non-stop. Managed to sleep for about one hour per night. I forget to mention the noisy drunks outside on the Friday night, well after midnight until the early hours. At 2.30a.m a guy started playing drums very loudly but I think someone shot him after 15 minutes! All in all a truly ghastly stay at a quite exorbitant price. Never again Mr Hilton Premier Inn Malngavie much better Sorry, very very disappointing
Rooms are nice.
Wifi was poor and breakfast was just ok.
