Staff and location were fab. Easy parking major bonus.
Had a wee problem with the Attached restaurant. It had to close because of some problem with the extractor fans or something. This wasn't a problem though as there's plenty of places around about the Hotel
Loved the hotel. Especially our room
Free I/net is poor. You have to be in the lobby area to get decent signal + 2 Wi-F- in the hotel are sometimes in conflict over priority
Décor a very high standard
Parking limited, though familiar with area, but could be an issue for strangers to West End of Glasgow, if travelling by car.
Hotel location very good and staff friendly. Room comfortable and fairly recently decorated.
£10 /night for difficult to access parking. Cooked breakfast was cold and bacon was very tough. Booked into similar type room in another West End hotel the following (Saturday) night ,better all round and for £100 less than we would have been in the Hilton.
Staff were very courteous and helpful. Public areas were pleasant.
Everything was excellent staff in particular very friendly
No bad experience at all
The staff were all fantastic from the minute we checked in.
Staff, facilities, room size, on suite, general service and staff help especially breakfasts were all excellent. Location is excellent.
On arrival we were informed we had been selected as guest of the day with upgraded room, free cocktails and high speed wifi - a nice unexpected touch!
the room faced the main A82 - The soundproofing of the windows is non existent.
sensible sized room with normal facilities
Artificial scent everywhere, which gave me a head ache and I couldn't get away from the smell. Poor view.
A really clean hotel - our room was sparkling! Breakfast was outstanding; fresh, tasty and served by lovely staff.
Very firm mattress which we found uncomfortable. Small room - OK but no better than Premier Inn
Good breakfast, great West End location
Nothing spectacular. Rooms are a bit on the smaller side but still comfortable. Free Wifi is truly terrible.
Location is decent
In the first room I had the bedroom was one floor above the car park, the sliding window didn't lock and presumably could be entered from outside. The second room facing the front had drafty windows and traffic noise. The heating in both rooms was one old radiator which gave you a choice of boiling hot or freezing cold. Every night the bar played loud techno music.
The girls on reception tried their best but not the manager I spoke to.
You have to take a taxi to the gym !! There is no gym in the hotel premises.
The city and its people are very friendly.
Booked into the bo'vine restaurant within the hotel for dinner before our stay as it had great reviews. Got. To the hotel at 6pm to be told they were cancelling all restaurant bookings due to a broken extractor fan. Did offer to help us find another restaurant but we weren't going to get anywhere of the same standard on a Saturday night at that late notice and the staff weren't particularly apologetic. Really disappointing. They also didn't show us how to get to our room or where any facilities were. Staff were pretty disappointing on the whole and the closed restaurant ruined the evening we had planned. Obviously these things happen but it was a disappointing experience from a service point of view. The single glazed windows also have no sound proofing and it was really noisy through the night as its right on a busy junction.
Great location and a comfortable room with the amenities you'd expect from a decent Hilton. Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from and we got a good room rate through booking.com!
Fans in hotel not working - therefore no evening restaurant Bo vine Restaurant or aerated bathroom. No slippers in room - requested twice - received on second request
Staff friendly and helpful. Good advice
Paid WiFi which is ridiculous as paying over £100/night for myself and had to paid extra 20 quid for wifi is a big joke. Room was pretty loud from outside so I had sleepless nights-told this to the stuff but they Didnt do anything about this. Cleaning service...was not good and quite disturbing. One lady came to the room without knocking while I was changing clothes. The room wasn't clean properly. No mini bar or fridge which would be a big advantage. Its 4* hilton, not a random dirty place, or at least shouldn't be. I am very disappointed as for the same price I would have got better place to stay which is quiet and clean. Especially that I mentioned I'm gonna WORK and also tried to did some video conferences in the room but didn't work at all. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
the room decor was amazing. Unfortunately bathroom was very tiny. I ordered some food and was really happy with the quality.
the environment is for relaxing and is comfortable
The bedrooms are re-furbished superficially. In the first room I stayed in their was one heater below the window and on full blast, no central control on the wall. I slid open steel framed windows 1960s style and then discovered that it could be locked from the inside a major security risk one level above the car park. The second room for which I paid double was the same room but with original 1930s windows which let in cold air and traffic noise. The bar was dominated by loud techno music every night.
The staff on the front desk tried their best. Not management.
Excellent hotel and very friendly staff. The bed was a wee bit hard.
Needs a gym!! Rooms on road side to noisy if light sleeper.
Great location. Bed comfy. Staff so friendly, nice breakfast.
One of the small cartons of milk was off and curdled when I put it in my morning tea.luckily there was another one.
The bed and duvet!
Like the location , friendliness of staff. Cleanliness of the room was good. The buffet breakfast was good , again, the staff were very pleasant.
