Young girl on reception (blonde hair) very friendly, great service.

Housekeeping in room was a bit shabby, hair in bath, bin not empty, attention to detail poor i.e. roilet rolls ripped paper, dust on radiator all when we checked in.

nice handy location good staff quiet even though in a busy city reasonable rates its better than the marks hotel the grand central and even some rooms in one devonshire. granted the grand central is by the trains but it ws the external noise of customers that was bad and that was not a feature at the hilton very busy corridor at the weekend and yet still hardly any external noise very good workmanship i will be back

The atmosphere and surroundings of the hotel is nice.

Poor heat and noise insulation of the windows. It was like being in the middle of the traffic. The room was a bit too small for two persons.

The staff from the off were friendly and professional but no to overbearing. The facilities were clean and up to date. the ambiance of the hotel was calm and sedate but only 5 mins from the West End of Glasgow. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Location was perfect for our needs and being allowed to bring the dog was the reason we booked rather than booking a neighbouring hotel.

Having specifically asked about dog being free I was charged at reception. Not happy but manager was rude so didn't argue too much. Also told to bring own travel cot which was difficult to arrange. Got to the room and there was a cot provided. Asked if we could take baby in to restaurant but on ordering discovered there was no choice of food. He got bread and butter. Our room had a heating/plumbing problem which knocked through out the night. Did consider asking to be moved but not easy with sleeping baby, dog, bags etc. Finally, putting a bill under the door at night encourages dog barking! Combined these issues made our stay stressful and made my quite annoyed. Then our card wasn't validated to get us out of the carpark so I had to run back in to reception. Receptionist should ask about this before departure.

The room was just perfect. Decor was lovely and very clean.

The noise from the street outside kept me awake most of the night.

It was snowing and very cold outside and although the room was cosy it was perhaps slightly too warm overnight. My husband did not agree and slept soundly!

The rooms where fabulous very spacious & luxurious. Decor in the hotel was lovely & the staff all very friendly & it was a pleasure staying i would do it again.

temperature in room was too high. room was rather small considering it was meant to be double 'deluxe'

I had a problem with my booking being cancelled without my knowledge either by Hilton or Booking.com. I was extremely annoyed at the way Hilton dealt with the problem.

Welcome at reception was very friendly and helpful. Room very comfortable and well appointed.

The dust in the room was disgusting especially for the price we were charged. The bathroom was the same .

bed is very comfy --pillows could be more substancial,nice hotel , nicely outfited

the room radiator was warm but is not controllable from the room ---to warm very noisy outside from the waitrose loading bay opposite .

Internet costs £15 per 24hours although free in public areas. Rooms on Great Western Road can get some traffic noise

Staff were very helpfull. Location excellent. Very quite if you stay in standered room.

The receptionist especially. We booked in at around 4pm on 12/01/2013 and she made conversation about the reason for my stay. It was my birthday. When we came back to the room after going out for a walk a voucher for two cocktails in the Bo Bar. Nice touch! She had red hair and sttod at the desk on the Right hand side. I have to say all staff were great - nothing seemed like too much trouble. I had a great stay.

Being asked to pay for parking which I had previously been led to believe was free. I had to strongly insist. Apparently some parking is free but a bit of a grey area. When we handed over the voucher to the cocktail waiter he sighed and his shoulders visually slumped. Apparently they are not well informed about the issuing of vouchers from hotel staff ? ! ? ! - I felt that that bad feeling should not have been displyed to me

partner was gluten-free.no problems found on that part. staff very friendly, will definitely return.
