Everything... Top class hotel with to class service!
It was very busy... But service was impeccable! Strictly come dancing was in the nearby arena so I think there were a lot of people staying at the hotel attending that. We had a fabulous stay tho despite the number of people there.
Staff worked really hard and food was good
When in bar/food area very short staffed. Lots of people looking to order food but couldn't find anyone, causing frustration. We got our prosecco complimentary as it wasn't in our room after enquiring twice.
Good location for shopping
Hard to get Spa appointments
This judgement is according to the claim of being a give star hotel. To be a five star hotel it has a good choice of facilities, but their quality and freshness is poor. Nice building, very good staff, beautiful and comfortable lobby, good bar, very good service. Wi-fi works ok. Fast enough to stream a movie and free.
The pool and gym area Are horrible. Small, low roof, claustrofobic feeling, dirty floors, dirty roofs, bad light. The rooms Are small, we had a Queen family room, bed is ok but not good to ne 5 star. The bathtub has a really bad waterfunction where you can't control the strength of the water that comes in a beam - and you always have to pass through ice cold to turn the water off. The location is bad. Next to the highway and 20 min Walk to city center. Very difficult to access for pedestrians. You need a car. Breakfast is lacking Fresh bread and fresh juices. But else very good to be in GB.
Glasgow at night
Bed was comfortable.
Hotel run down.
Quietness and service.
I have no negative feedback
The hotel was very clean with excellent staff and breakfast was fab. On the Monday one of the chefs came out and asked us if we wanted fresh poached eggs which we had and were fab
The hotel was over a mile away from the centre of Gladgow, not ideal if you need to be very close to the city centre.
Staff were all very friendly, ....even at 3am.
Lack of toiletries in bathroom- no cotton wool/buds. No complimentary water in room. Service in bar was so slow- table service redundant in afternoon.
Breakfast was excellent Rooms a good size
Wifi not free and the free wifi unusable
Staff were quite rude on a few occasions
It was relatively close to SSE Hydro which was our reason for booking and was perfect for shopping too. Breakfast was amazing good choice of fresh fruit, pastries, cereals and cooked breakfast as well as toast, different choices of teas and coffee.
The room was spacious however the 2nd bed was poorer quality and matress needed changed, duvets were very poor quality, there was a kingsize bed with a double duvet and it was obvious it was the wrong quilt.
Facilities really good Comfortable beds
Highly rude members of evening staff!
The staff we came into contact with were soo lovely, professional & caring. Our executive suite, wow could only describe it!! Can't wait to go back!!
View and breakfast
Lovely views. Lovely food and drink.
Shower was rubbish. Bathroom dated
Hotel location breakfast
Service from bar staff and room service staff was excellent even during a very busy event.
Only thing was the cost of a pepperoni pizza and chips to the room was £22.
From the moment you arrive at the entrance, you know it's far above the usual city centre standard of hotel. Classy, smart, stylish, it feels a bit special
The room service was terrible,as was the housekeeping, thought,I would be given some sort of compensation ,but was ignored,by my complaint
Room was lovley and was close to everything x
Didn't like that you had to pay for delivery or meals to your room even tho you had payed for your breakfast and had to pay an extra 6 pound onto get delivered to room x
Location, close to pub clubs & restaurants.
On arrival we were greeted by a lovely young lady who checked us in, on entering our room there was stale smell coming from the toilet and the room was also freezing. It stated when booking that bathrobes were provided and a luxury room. However no bathrobes were provided and the rooms was pretty basic! This was a valentines day treat for me & my partner & considering we paid nearly £200 for a queen suite it was definitely and waste of money and he wont be back.
Location is convenient for the Hydro The staff were very good. They tried their best to resolve issue of freezing room but heating system hadn't been working and also refunded me and we're pleasant and apologetic
When we arrived the room was freezing.A duty manager brought little heater but didn't warm the room. The system hadn't been working right. Mum has arthritis etc and made her ill.was refunded but later card was charged by a different Hinton and my bank had to recover it ..It wasn't up to standard at all..whole episode was a nightmare
