Paying wi-fi paying kids channels, furniture like room need to be renewed. toilet is big but in condition of 3 star hotel. need to be repainted and one hugh cleaning of room.Very poor for 5 star Hotel.
Hotel room was very nice. Interior of hotel very smart.
Very expensive drinks in bar. Booked specifically for pool and jaccuzi but jaccuzi was not working and pool was dirty. Very disappointed.
The room size was great. The staff were very obliging and helpful. The breakfast had a delicious variety of food. There were free Computers available for guest use.
I know these are out of the hotels control BUT - When we looked out our window there were roads everywhere (they call that progress). There was a building being constructed across the road (they call that progress).
The service was first rate, the staff were friendly, the food was excellent, the bar wasnt overpriced! The spa complex was immaculate! Overall one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in!
The hangover was very bad!
Staff were great, rooms were spacious, bed was the comfiest ever!
The prices of drinks in the bar were far too high which I know is expected in a hotel but I just don't feel it is justified, far too expensive!!
bored staff - average service poor sleep - too much noise from other rooms not very clean - hair on the shower wall average room and facilities - not as good as the hilton garden
Staff excellent could not do enough for you. Food very good.
The beds were not comfortable. Air con not working properly Fixtures and fittings getting tired
Room on 13th floor, view amazing. Reception staff very friendly and efficient.
Bar service slow.
Staff very helpful good knowledge of the area
Bar prices LOL
The cost - we were given a free weekend because of the dreadful experience of staying here!
They failed to clean our room and left our cooked breakfast congealing in our room all day. The toilet leaked over night and flooded our room.
Great staff..helpful,professional and prompt. Clean room, what you expect from a Hilton.
Had a meal in the bar. Worst pizza I have ever had. Frozen base, drowned in cheese. I had a great stay, but this pricey pizza really let the side down.
Attitude if taxi drivers outside hotel peeved when a short journey couldn't hide displeasure having to walk down 15 levels when there was an incident my husband has heart condition these things can't be helped
Location and parking
Room service tray charge rip off got 2 items at the same time and was charged 2 tray charges
We were not disappointed with the hotel, it was exactly as advertised. The staff were helpful and we had everything we needed, including a very nice complimentary bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate.
Member of Bar staff; Fraser Cleanliness of areas The proper bed in our room
The pull out sofa bed,it was terrible!!!The standard was not what we expected, we were extremely disappointed!! The staff; took ages getting their attention, no eye contact with us, also very slow and incompetent!! A real disappointment!!
Food was shocking service was shocking
The room was a very generous size and immaculately clean. Lovely view of Glasgow from our window and excellent location.
The staff at Glasgow Hilton were extremely unhelpful. We had to wait for over 15 minutes at the bar for a drink because there were only two people on on a saturday night and got no apologies for our wait. When asking for bar snacks staff looked confused at us and only had pretzels. (we later discovered for ourselves that the gift shop sold snacks). Probably the most off putting thing about this hotel was the fact we got no sleep. People were slamming doors and constantly shouting all night. I definitely wouldn't return here again as we didn't get our value for money.
Our stay was brilliant but the fridge in our room wasnt working and our cans were roasting..grudged paying £6 for them.
cleanliness and location
1.Swiping the card without any information or permission which is too bad. Credit card belong to me and it should be used only with my permission. This is not a good practice. 2. I have been staying at Hilton regularly but no one so far advised to apply for a point system. 3. The attitude of cleaning staff. They should be trained and advised to treat all nationalities equally 4.We expect certain comforts at 5 star hotels but these were not provided such as, tooth brush, tooth paste, razer, weighing machine, fruits etc.,
helpful friendly staff location clean room value for money robes and slippers in room mugs in room instead of cups very welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.
the Facilities, the room, the staff were very very helpful
Furniture was a bit worn. Bathroom was in need of an upgrade with stained basin and towel rails coming off the wall. Breakfast was a great disappointment with reconstituted scrambled egg, cold bacon and the black pudding was the worst We have ever eaten. Sorry to say we will not be back!
Comfy bed and great breakfast
damaged furniture and bed linen torn
The rooms were nice and big and shower was excellent! Location was great as it's very central but you still need to get a taxi as the hotel is situated near a motorway.
I had arranged an early check in for 2pm on the day, but we were running late so arrived at the hotel around 3:30pm to be told our room was not ready? She offered us a drinks voucher but we had book massages at the spa for 4pm. So we never received any vouchers. The massages we received were not the ones we had asked for and payed £38 for! As the therapist said she wouldn't recommend it, even though we had payed extra for the Russian and Thai massage but we received a serenity massage instead. There is also a £5 tray charge for room service!! Very expensive for drinks!
Rooms are clean and staff very friendly
