a nice big clean room I asked for NO FEATHERS / GOOSE DOWN in the pillows. That's what I got, except that the other pillows in the room (the fancy ones on the bed and on the coach) were still full with feathers, as was the comforter... Please !!!

Room was modern and clean, good fresh breakfast. The bath was unusable due to design fault with tap, water hit the overflow which directed it onto the floor rather than in the bath!! The leisure facilities were not up to standard compared to the rest of the hotel.

Location, super friendly staff who were mostly local. Very very helpful and friendly barman in the evenings :-) rooms lovely and comfortable, and lovely and warm. No bathrobes in our room on arrival, one word o the front desk to ask if it was possible o have 2 and within minutes they were delivered to our room :-) excellent breakfast on both mornings, again with friendly staff and excellent service:-) Nothing at all, apart from the price of a glass of wine in the evenings, but this is always the same in hotels!!

The scrambled eggs were fantastic. The young lady in the breakfast room went to enormous lengths to get me a Daily Telegraph which, due to an oversight, had not been delivered to my room.

The air conditioned luxuriously furnished room and bathroom, was complimented by a large free room safe, luxury toiletries, choice of teas or coffees, hairdryer, iron/board and free use of spa/pool/gym (including free towels; showgel in every shower cubicle, and swim wear dryer), meant using this facility was hassle free. Free use of lobby computers and printer were a godsend, particularly when needing to print maps and documents needed at a meeting. Lets not forget the vast self service breakfast that had whisky for your haggis or porridge, such was the range, that kept me going all day. Expensive minibar in room. Bathroom and lobby better lit than room which relied on a brass desk lamp and two freestanding bedside lamps, which I found too dim when sitting on the couch and trying to read. As a light sleeper, road noise from passing lorrys on the nearby dual carriageway were audible from the room

The staff. Especially in the bar. The Internet access. Kept losing my connection. Also in his kind of hotel I would have thought it would be free. Well when I stay in the Holiday Inn each day on business mine is.

The friendliness of the staff The venue, the floor when the lift opened smelled of chemicals, the food in the cafe was expensive and only ok. They booked me a cab at a set rate to the airport and when we entered the cab they gave us a completely different that was 20% higher.

The staff were very pleasant but two waiters just let it down slightly. One greeted us at breakfast with "Hiya" instead of good morning. One in the bar said "if you want anything give us a shout". Neither were unpleasant, just not what you expect in a Hilton hotel, a bit down market shall we say.

I liked the idea of allowing children over 6 to use the steam room sauna etc,as I had an 8 year old boy with us who loved it. There is nothing I didn't like about the Hilton Glasgow

Nothing very unhappy with stay from arrival to when we left. Management rude when asked to deal witha complaint early evening. Our dining was not much better with it taking over an hour to get our starters delivered and then when we got our main course wrong ones. Everything and would not consider a return to this hotel or any other Hilton hotel with so many to opt for in Glasgow we made the wrong choice, will not make that mistake again.
