Very comfortable rooms. Everything we needed, and great beds.
Breakfast choices were good, but it was confusing trying to find things. Cooked foods need to be hotter. Gave up trying to make toast!!
Room was warm and bed was comfy. Breakfast was great. Got free parking due to sleep disruption due to noisy guests. Fee was waived without consulting anyone in authority. Thought this was fantastic. Well done receptionist.
Was wakened early hours by noisy guests.
Pillows where amazing, food was good and overall a nice relaxing weekend.
The hotel room was spacious and our bed comfortable but the sofa bed for our adult daughter was not and was very squeaky and noisy. Breakfast was varied and good quality. We had a very poor supply of hospitality tray items for three people, but the staff rectified that for us, good service.
There's a sense of faded grandeur and the old fashioned predominantly brown colour scheme of decor is gloomy. We needed taxis to get into the city centre cos of poor weather and the hotel has a non picturesque motorway side location.
Great people. Comfortable rooms. Food is excellent! The hotel accommodated my needs perfectly. Thank you!
The check out time, use of all facilities, light & comfortable room. Great food at bar. Great view over the city
Fact we only booked for one night, didn't want to leave.
good food fast elevators
uncomfy bed very hard, noise from the air recirculating system far to noisy.
The hotel was beautiful and well equipped free use of the gym etc
Customer service was extremely poor for a 5 star hotel. On arrival although check in was at 3pm our room wasn't ready until 3.50pm, we waited 8minutes at the hotel bar to be served when it was extremely quiet with no acknowledgement from the 3 staff members that they would be with us soon. I paid the bill at 8am morning of departure as a letter was put through the door asking me to contact reception. I did not check out and explained I would be checking out later, however housekeeping came into the room at 9am, reception phoned the room at 9.15 to ask when we were leaving. I found this extremely rude as check out is 12noon and paying £125 a night for 2 nights this certainly isn't the level of customer service Id expect. Won't be booking it again
Clean ,comfortable and friendly .
Bar service was slow !
Everything... Top class hotel with to class service!
It was very busy... But service was impeccable! Strictly come dancing was in the nearby arena so I think there were a lot of people staying at the hotel attending that. We had a fabulous stay tho despite the number of people there.
Staff worked really hard and food was good
When in bar/food area very short staffed. Lots of people looking to order food but couldn't find anyone, causing frustration. We got our prosecco complimentary as it wasn't in our room after enquiring twice.
Good location for shopping
Hard to get Spa appointments
This judgement is according to the claim of being a give star hotel. To be a five star hotel it has a good choice of facilities, but their quality and freshness is poor. Nice building, very good staff, beautiful and comfortable lobby, good bar, very good service. Wi-fi works ok. Fast enough to stream a movie and free.
The pool and gym area Are horrible. Small, low roof, claustrofobic feeling, dirty floors, dirty roofs, bad light. The rooms Are small, we had a Queen family room, bed is ok but not good to ne 5 star. The bathtub has a really bad waterfunction where you can't control the strength of the water that comes in a beam - and you always have to pass through ice cold to turn the water off. The location is bad. Next to the highway and 20 min Walk to city center. Very difficult to access for pedestrians. You need a car. Breakfast is lacking Fresh bread and fresh juices. But else very good to be in GB.
Glasgow at night
Bed was comfortable.
Hotel run down.
Quietness and service.
I have no negative feedback
The hotel was very clean with excellent staff and breakfast was fab. On the Monday one of the chefs came out and asked us if we wanted fresh poached eggs which we had and were fab
The hotel was over a mile away from the centre of Gladgow, not ideal if you need to be very close to the city centre.
Staff were all very friendly, ....even at 3am.
Lack of toiletries in bathroom- no cotton wool/buds. No complimentary water in room. Service in bar was so slow- table service redundant in afternoon.
Breakfast was excellent Rooms a good size
Wifi not free and the free wifi unusable
Staff were quite rude on a few occasions
It was relatively close to SSE Hydro which was our reason for booking and was perfect for shopping too. Breakfast was amazing good choice of fresh fruit, pastries, cereals and cooked breakfast as well as toast, different choices of teas and coffee.
The room was spacious however the 2nd bed was poorer quality and matress needed changed, duvets were very poor quality, there was a kingsize bed with a double duvet and it was obvious it was the wrong quilt.
Facilities really good Comfortable beds
Highly rude members of evening staff!
The staff we came into contact with were soo lovely, professional & caring. Our executive suite, wow could only describe it!! Can't wait to go back!!
