Excellent food and facilities, close to town centre. Couldn't fault the service. Will be back again soon.
Excellent service, it's class hotel
Kerry on reception what a credit to Hilton Hotel went out her way to make our stay special, Head chef at breakfast was so friendly nothing was any trouble well done couldn't ask for more.
Having to leave !!
Close to Central station
Did not get Hilton Honours points for a stay costing over £450 for 3 nights
We found the bedrooms to be dark and cold. One room wasn't ready at 3.30 and the sofa bed and towels were ready until the night. The bar area was cold at the night.
The breakfast, although a queing system would be good as "three" times we were skipped by other tables of two when I'm sure the waitress knew it was us next.
The room we had faced onto a busy road, no view. That didn't matter to us it was the fact we had noise, it was a busy night with an apparent "William hill" party night and the place was full of drunk employees running all over the corridors at night. We did phone down to reception to be told "it's a long service award night for William Hill and they've got a free bar here at the Hilton" really??!!, Guess what we didn't care we just wanted a quietish sleep for the money we've paid. Another small thing aswell, we asked for extra coffee and milk sachets and we're left waiting for over an hour for these.
Boarding pass delivered to door without asking
Room view of the highway
Staff were first class they had a beautifull basket of flowers and chocolates and champagne all in the room to surprise my mum and dad they couldn't have went out there way any more to make our stay soooooo Special thank you
Only thing we didn't like was We didn't stay long enuf to enjoy spa facilities
Reception staff were swift and efficient
Poor service in bar area. With exception of ONE member of staff who attended to us later on the Friday evening
Room. Lifts. Public areas.
Poor bathroom lighting and shower.
Room and location also breakfast service and variety
Bar a little pricey
always enjoyed staying at Hilton access comfort and relaxing
Staff very good Clean and spacious room Gym and pool Breakfast very good indeed Central location
Noisy guests at 5am both nights
The rooms are very spacious and clean. Staff are all very helpful and friendly. As it was a birthday celebration the staff left a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in our room. What a thoughtful touch .
Lobby looks good Room is big
The room looks very old decoration is poor
Close to Station. Bus station and Airport. Close to amenities i.e, shops, theatres, museums, bars, restaurants. Breakfast buffet was excellent and a long line waiting was dealt with efficiently
Staff at reception very helpfull.Room service very good.
Thought Room was well overpriced £175.00 per night.Glasgow has better
Reception staff were polite and helpful.
Bar staff we're rude. Company, myself and friends had spent a lot of money throughout the day and girl on bar refused to serve anymore drink to several of us at 12 pm everyone was well behaved unlike the very young teenagers that we're running about at 1am in the morning.
Clean, modern and luxurious
Everything! Our stay coincided with an event for Glasgow Bar Association so we even had a chance to 'people-watch'! Used the leisure facilities too and enjoyed that experience as well.
Only one wee issue - we had just arrived in our room and were in the process of changing when a maid let herself in to clean the room. she did apologise but we had only just arrived and my wife was in a state of undress.
The room was clean, good size and comfortable bed.
Windows didn't open and no cold air only warm from vents or fan in room. No complimentary water or robes in room. No free room Wi-Fi. Poor quality and some inedible food for breakfast in café environment.
Hugh range of food for breakfast, beds good for sleeping.
Paying wi-fi paying kids channels, furniture like room need to be renewed. toilet is big but in condition of 3 star hotel. need to be repainted and one hugh cleaning of room.Very poor for 5 star Hotel.
Hotel room was very nice. Interior of hotel very smart.
Very expensive drinks in bar. Booked specifically for pool and jaccuzi but jaccuzi was not working and pool was dirty. Very disappointed.
The room size was great. The staff were very obliging and helpful. The breakfast had a delicious variety of food. There were free Computers available for guest use.
I know these are out of the hotels control BUT - When we looked out our window there were roads everywhere (they call that progress). There was a building being constructed across the road (they call that progress).
The choice at breakfast
We were allocated a disabled access room which was not requested. The bathroom floor had seen better days and at the carpet and floor joining the carpet was very frayed. Not what I would have expected for £125 per night.
