Good location, good breakfast in the mornings. This was not what you expect from the name Hilton. Hot tub/spa was not hot, directly attached to pool. Parking garage was full had to park down the street. No wi-fi in rooms, internet provider incompatible with any browser except for internet explorer. Room was clean, but very shabby: stained carpets, old furniture and fixtures, no wash clothes/mits in bathroom, mattress was hard. Hall ways and elevators untidy: confetti, trash, and clothing left by other guests from the night before still there 24 hrs later.

Hotel had most facilities except minibar in rooms. Restaurant staff breakfast in particular were excellent. We had to upgrade our room because the standard room was only 3 star at best, this cost an extra £30. The reception staff were rather unhelpful. The hotel decor was tired and the carpet dirty, bathroom was fine. Expensive car parking. A mixed pictutre they could do much better.

The first upgraded luxury room we were given smelt very heavily of urine. It was foul. The room we were then given was far too hot. The coffee and tea facility were not pointed out to us. The upgrade did not initially provide the bowl of fruit and fluffy dressing gowns - had to ask for this. As a traveller very disappointed not to find a hair dryer in the so called luxury bathroom. The service at dinner was slow and unattentive despite being only five tables eating at the time

Proximity to centre, railway station and gym. Room finc. Charge for internet was exorbitant so did not use it. Unclear how it can be justified given the room charge when plenty of other hotels at same/lower process can offer free internet. Definite barrier to a repeat booking. Tv limited. Poor picture

Room was comfortable although a bit on the small side, it had a large flat screen tv and tea and coffee supplied. The bathroom again was a bit small but came with toileteries etc. The ac in the room was very good. The swimming pool, spa, sauna etc was very good everything worked fine. Check in and out was quick. Did not eat in the Hotel as you are only 5-10 minutes walk to the city centre where there is plenty of resturants cafes etc. The Hotel had a Costa coffee where we did enjoy coffee there. A good city centre Hotel ideally located for everything Leeds has to offer.

Location was good for shopping and rooms where clean and comfortable. Main enterance to hotel is unmaned and reception is on the 3rd floor. You can take a lift to the rectption or take the 2 unsightly escalators. Very unpleaseant smell in main enterance area (should point out this was not anywhere else in the hotel) No security present and contieage desk unmaned most of the time. Staff from the leisure club opposite seem to have to fill in this role as much as they can. Lifts to all floors located directly in front of main enterance so really anyone could pop in and out as they choose. We booked as hotel has smoking rooms. On arrival we were advised that the 6th floor (smoking floor) was closed for refurbishment despite me having called the hotel the week previous to confirm smoking rooms were available for the booking! It is also the policy of this hotel not to except any sterling notes larger than £20 ! Quite rediculous for a hotel chain this size and in this day and age & again no mention to anyone until we went to pay the bill. Surely if this is your policy, put it on your website. The local 99p shop had security facilities enabling them to cash £50 notes and the Hilton didn't ! Says a lot really. On the plus side this hotel did have a nice swimming pool all be it a small one & most of the staff were friendly and pleasant.

I liked the location and a premium name that the Hilton brand carries. The staff are friendly, professional and offer great customer service in all areas of the business that we met. The room was nice and worth the money that we paid. I did think that little things like the carpet of the room let the overall presentation of the room down as it just required shampooing. To me this did not detract from the overall experience, however if you are a company that looks for continious improvement, then these might be the areas for consideration. I will be using the Hilton hotel in Milton Keynes on the 14th Dec 2011. so will definately compare the standard against one another. Hope that this helps Simon Priest.

The pool and Steam room .The Staff were helpful and Receptionist when we were checking out.She kept cool when I had difficulty remembering my pin number. The Towels in the room were clean but old and worn. The door of the room had been damaged around the lock. The outside of the building could do with a makeover.

Location. The breakfast choice was good and staff attentive and helpful. Car park is very tight both on entry and exit. Wifi in room is charged which in this day and age seems ludicrous - is this just another continued way to extort business people of their money!! Come on Hilton, Free Wifi is expected now.

When I arrived I was told in a very off-hand fashion that my booking did not include breakfast which I knew it did. Even after I had produced a copy of my confirmation email I received no apology. As I arrived at 10pm I was tired and felt extremely unwelcomed by this reception. You could do better!

Room was comfortable. We stayed over New Year and both my friend and I had cold showers. It seems that my 4 other friends did not have this experience. Also we had planned to use the sauna and jacuzzi, but it was full. The capacity was surprisingly only 20 people, which seems rather small considering the size of the hotel.
