I enjoyed the fact that there was a balcony. The view was beautiful !
Staff were snobby, facilities were poor, the amount of space in the room was ridiculous, they make it out to be large but it clearly is not. The bed messed up my neck, far too many pillows, very uncomfortable pillows, barely had any sleep due to the prison bed. The bathroom was absolutely tiny, outdated facilities. Definitely not worth the money.
pool, staff and room
Free river boat over to Canary Wharf, excellent Hilton breakfast. The staff were really helpful and friendly.
The only down side was that two Sat Navs couldn't find the postcode.
Location by the Thames with speedboat dtation to the city in less than 20 minutes
The staff. Always new staff, no personal contact, not assistance, reluctant to help.
The lovely view of Canary Wharf, the pretty lights fir Christmas. The complementary boat trip. The walk ways between room blocks. A good looking hotel.
The distance from underground. Not much to do on the hotel side of the water
Nice location by the river Spacious sized room
Hotel room was very dated Bed was uncomfortable Ferry service was ok but a long wait if you get there at the wrong time Personally I think that the hotel was expensive for the standard that the accommodation was at. I've stayed in hotels of a far superior quality for less money
Location was nice. Could be far out for some but I liked being away from the crowds.
Room was ABSOLUTELY not what I expected. I booked based on pictures on booking.com as I wanted a modern, comfortable room. Instead it felt rather old/musty and bland. This is not what I expect from Hilton, having stayed in many Hiltons around the world. Given that the room was not what I felt was promised, the fact that neither breakfast nor Internet was included, it's hard to say it was good value for money.
Ability to have a bath
I was attending a Christmas party, the group meal was disorganized. The food was ok, but the table staff didn't seem to know what they were doing.
I had a surprise for my girlfriend she didn't know where or what we were doing, I dressed the room with rose petals and roses with a card, tickets for Boyz2Men and then I proposed! She cried and said yes :) the staff were very helpful and provided a great room. We had a great time
Having to leave the next day :(
The views... Boat to Canary wharf
The bed. Cold in the room decor is old
There was big problem with my room. The staff did their utmost to try & resolve it, ensuring that my comfort & needs were their priority
Surprisingly good meal in the restaurant, albeit not cheap. Recommended by a colleague, but he gets upgraded...
Great location by the river...assuming you don't arrive by the Tube - a lengthy bus ride away. No wifi in rooms, unless you pay an additional gbp 14, outragous in this day and age! Room with opaque window giving way to internal walkway/fire escape, very poor noise insulation from neighbouring rooms mouldy swelling bathroom and on tiles, and generally in need of TLC. Just not 4* standard and poor value. Very disappointed.
located in a great setting, love the little ferry to take you to canary wharf, nice bar area
need to get a bus from the station, rooms very small
Much closer to things than you expect. Would stay again.
Nice clean rooms, hotel has it's own ferry to take you across the Thames - really good service.
the hotel generally
walk to our room
*Good sized rooms *FREE ferry ride across the river :)
* The place was badly designed and outdated. We expected it to be far nicer for the Hilton group....though our taxi driver told us it has a refurbishment planned ahead. * A glass of sauvignon blanc cost 12.50! A round of just 3 drinks cost 28.50! I know it's London but c'mon! *Side door of our room was broken so I was concerned about our belongs (though all was fine)
Ferry ride across the Thames, room over looked Thames, which had great view of canary wharf especially at night time fantastic. The Staff's customer service was fabulous.car park was very handy not having to walk from a ncp! I will definitely revisit !
Nothing to dislike !
Some of the staff were nice and the view was amazing at night.
The room looks nothing like in the pictures shown, it is completely deceiving. The bathroom and layout of the room is completely different. Everything was very uncomfortable, the sofas, the beds were ok, the bathroom tiny to what it was made out. The breakfast wasn't very nice, there alcohol tasted malted didn't taste at all like JD to me, I was told this matter would be dealt with and it wasn't. Overall I wouldn't pay more than £40 to stay, maybe £60 for the view but thats maximum. It is no way a Hilton hotel. These other reviews, well.. I really don't know where there coming from.
Location, evening dinner dance and food were excellent. Staff were very obliging especially the gentleman who, after the evening event, helped my disabled sister to the lift via the staff area as the stair lift was not working.
Room was very 'tired' and needed some updating. Bathroom and room carpet showed signs of wear and tear. Also irritating 'post' that had to be manoeuvred around to get from the bed into the room.
Restaurant was good for breakfast, staff were informative when asked a question.
Room decor was dated and run down. Bed was awful not at all comfortable and give we paid for a superior room we felt disapointed. To be fair I have stayed in better B&B'S from the room perspective. Only the view made it marginally worth the rate paid.
Most other things were poor. Also they tried to make you pay £15.00 per hour for the Internet. Utterly incomprehensible!!!!!
The bed was really comfortable. We had a nice view of Thames river.
Shortbread biscuit T.V with 40 channels Cosy room Good service and facilities
Bathroom was small Bed was too firm and pillows way too soft.
The location due to the free ferry transfer to Canary Wharf
The room I got was smaller than what I expected following both my previous experience and the description while booking the hotel
