Our experience was so awful I can only recommend the cleanliness of our various rooms (we had to be moved 3 times due to various disasters). The best thing had nothing to do with the actual running of the hotel, but was the view over the Thames to Canary Wharf' this was the reason I decided to return to this hotel again this time (I initially stayed there in June 2009). By the time my daughter and I checked out,we had a list of approx 15 different problems we had experienced which ruined our stay. The shuttle bus to the tube from hotel had been permanently stopped and we had not been forwarned.I Am disabled, and so had to struggle with the ferry boat to Canary Wharf every day-horrendous!The room we booked was 'Superior',yet the room we were given was run down, small, and very basic for a 4star Hilton.Eventually we were moved to a better room, but the T.V. was broken! It was eventually replaced with a very old non (lcd) flat screen. It only had channels 1-5,and 4 extra Freeview ones!Maintanence 'tried' to reboot it,but failed to the extent of leaving us with even less channels. One day our room wasn't cleaned at all,nor were we even asked if we needed anything. The final evening our ceiling leaked badly, then totally collapsed-while we were in the room.We are both rather traumatised by our so called 'holiday'.When the ceiling collapsed, something dreadful could have happened to my daughter, myself,or our possessions. An horrific thought.I Think this hotel has badly declined recently-I wish I had never, never booked it.

The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and were happy to answer any questions. Breakfast didn't disappoint and the coffee/bar lounge was certainly appreciated after a long day. The ferry boat service was prompt and the trips between the piers were very frequent. The only difficulty we had was returning to the hotel after the last ferry boat. Because the tunnels were shut we ended up struggling to get back. Perhaps with the tunnels being closed extra information as to how to return to the hotel or run additional later ferry boat services would have been useful. But i wouldnt want to make this negative because the hotel provided everything we required, just a suggestion.

Hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean, views from the hotel were breath-taking. The choice of breakfast was vast and staff were readily available to replenish drinks. Very impressed with location and value for money. Local buses ran often too and from Canada Water tube station. Would recommend to anyone.

I booked the stay for my partners birthday and asked, if possible, I would be able to get a river view to make it a bit more special. When we arrived we were told we had been upgraded to a Deluxe Plus room and the staff also said happy birthday to him on arrival. We were also met at the room with a complimentary bottle of wine and birthday card from the hotel staff. The views were just amazing of Canary Wharf cannot fault our room at all. The staff were so helpfull and made our stay extremely enjoyable. Would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks so much.

It wasn't in the location I expected it to be and was hard to find. I didn't think the room was deluxe at all. We were going to the O2 and the staff were not very helpful in guiding us towards the venue instead advising us to get a car with driver which cost £25 each way. I took my friend as a special treat and felt embarrassed that I had booked this hotel.

We were treated very well during our stay and made to feel very welcome. We were celebrating my partners birthday and when we checked in we were given a free room upgrade and there was a £50 bottle of champagne waiting for us in the room - not bad as we only paid £112 for the room! The free ferry across the Thames is also very useful, as is the free parking and use of the health club. The breakfast was really good (included in our price but normally £18) with lots of fresh fruit available and a wide choice of cooked, continental and cereals etc. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

As this is a Hilton hotel I expected it to be of some certain standard however I was quite surprised when I arrived in there and this is the worst Hilton hotel I have stayed at. The hotel has two buildings. We were offered a room in the first building and the room was very basic old and small . We were then transferred to the other building (because I expressed my concerns to the reception staff ) which was much better however still not happy with the condition of the room comparing to other Hilton hotels I have stayed in. The hotel has a restaurant which takes ages to deliver your food and most of the time you will not get what you ordered. Hotel staff however is very helpful and friendly.

It was clean and staff were friendly. Room was fantastic ( deluxe plus) although bathroom a little dated and plain. The drivers were very good and the cars were very nice ( bmw and a Mercedes). Location was not ideal. The tube was a fair distance away, although there was a local bus that took you to the station the cost was just under £5 for us as a couple for a single ticket - the hotel bmw private transfer was only £6 so we opted for that!! The bus was fine when using the one day travel card but first thing in the morning there was no way of getting this until you reached the tube station! The ferry service provided was fair although once on the other side of the Thames there was still a long walk to canary wharf tube so was not actually of any benefit.

Room Comfortable and you can open a window. Great view of the river and Canary Wharf especially at night. Breakfast good value with a complimentary breakfast for my child. Didn't realize but the free ferry from the hotel to Canary Wharf gives easy access to the Thames Clipper Service. This gave us a great traveling option avoiding buses and the tube, Great rides down the river to The Tower The Tate London Eye Houses of Parliament. That made traveling easy and enjoyable. Hotel corridors are unpleasantly small and a bit shabby.

The staff were friendly, curtious and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We only ate breakfast there but the choice was varried, well presented and ample, something for everyone. If your going out and it is going to be a lateish night get some taxi numbers as the last bus to the hotel leaves canada water at 1am

Very friendly staff, cheerful & helpful. Lovely room. Shame last boat back was 11.30pm missed it by 3 mins rushing back from the o2 taxi was £18 too tired to walk back to a dlr station For day tIme activities or business it's a great location but note the location. However it was an extremely comfy bed and lovely breakfast It's location if you rely on public transport think again. The name Riverside dockhands led me to believe it was in the docklands, I should have checked the postcode, it was not in e14, just looked over it.

The ferry service was great running frequently at the weekend and making reaching the hotel convenient and fun. Staff very friendly and helpful which helps to make a pleasant stay and somewhere we would return to. Breakfast, which was included in price of stay, was excellent, we think one of the best breakfasts we have ever experienced. Bed was of course very comfy and room well heated for the time of year and as is expected of the Hilton, very clean. Well done Hilton Docklands you were a great hit with us.

The hotel is perfect for a long week-end. In the week there are various Seminars going on,so it can get very busy. We booked 4 nights Bed and Breakfast and got a top bargain with Booking.com the double room my wife and I had was very good. With everything you need Tea/coffee, TV (Sorry no German channels) tabel and chairs and a cosy bed. The breakfast buffet will please everyone. It is not only an English breakfast but also Continental with cheese ham tomatoes breadrolls ect. ect. We arrived at Gatwick and got on the Gatwick Express to Victoria (Buy the tickets on the internet its cheaper) Once in Victoria buy the TRAVEL CARD !! 7 Days zones 1-3.(Covers all the tourist sites) with this card you can travel on the Underground, the overground and all the buses, as much as you like. Also great 2 for 1 deals with the Travel card (London dungeons,The Eye Ect.) We are going back in April 2012. Can´t wait... The hotel suggests that you take the Undergroud too Canary Warf, and then a shuttel boat over the Thames to the hotel. We did it as we arrived, with luggage in tow it took use about 15 Minutes to walk to the boat in the rain. They should really tell you when arriving at Victoria you can get the number C10 bus that goes to the hotel via Canada water, or take the tube to Candaa water and then get the bus. with the Travel card works out alot better, and your feet will thank you.
