Our experience was so awful I can only recommend the cleanliness of our various rooms (we had to be moved 3 times due to various disasters).The best thing had nothing to do with the actual running of the hotel,but was the view over the Thames to Canary Wharf' this was the reason I decided to return to this hotel again this time (I initially stayed there in June 2009). By the time my daughter and I checked out,we had a list of approx 15 different problems we had experienced which ruined our stay.The shuttle bus to the tube from hotel had been permanently stopped and we had not been forwarned.I Am disabled,and so had to struggle with the ferry boat to Canary Wharf every day-horrendous!The room we booked was 'Superior',yet the room we were given was run down,small, and very basic for a 4star Hilton.Eventually we were moved to a better room,but the T.V. was broken!It was eventually replaced with a very old non (lcd) flat screen.It only had channels 1-5,and 4 extra Freeview ones!Maintanence 'tried' to reboot it,but failed to the extent of leaving us with even less channels.One day our room wasn't cleaned at all,nor were we even asked if we needed anything.The final evening our ceiling leaked badly,then totally collapsed-while we were in the room.We are both rather traumatised by our so called 'holiday'.When the ceiling collapsed,something dreadful could have happened to my daughter,myself,or our possessions.An horrific thought.I Think this hotel has badly declined recently-I wish I had never,never booked it.

I didn't like anything the room was the wrong room the room smelt was dirty and had hairs over pillows on arrival!! Never stayin at a Hilton again!! Absolutely nothing apart from the exit out of there

The hotel was lovely - breakfast very good if a little expensive. Location was excellent for O2 where I needed to go but also so close to Canary Wharf using the ferry. Will definitely use this hotel again for a short break

Enjoyed every aspect. We didn't realise there was a bit of a trek to the nearest tube - either a bus or boat ride away, but once we'd sussed it it wasn't a problem.

Staff all very courteous and helpful and the hotel is clean an tidy. There is a great free ferry service for guests to use from the Hilton pier to Canary Wharf, which then allows you to either explore the Wharf shopping area or connect to the main city via the DLR/tube.

Excellent hotel, I requested a riverside view because of my birthday. I was so pleased with the view and and room we had. On arrival we had a welcome birthday card, wine, and cheesecakes. Highly recommend. The room could have been cleaner, with the bathmat had meldew on the underside of it.

The location is good for us, our daughter lives across the road. Free use of the ludicrously expensive ferry to Canary Wharf is a plus. The hotel bedroom areas are shabby and worn - nothing like you would expect from a Hilton product. Staff were ok - neither outstanding or bad. We use if because we have family close by; other than that I can think of no good reason to use the hotel. Unimpressed that an item I left in the bedroom has not been found!!

The location and the ferry service which connects it to Canary Wharf. The service was inconsistent. First day the service was horrible, but the second day, the service was good. Secondly, we got a twin room, whereas we had booked for a double room.(or so I thought) To be fair to Hilton, this was more of a booking problem than theirs.

Around half the price of other hotels in the area and the staff were great. The rooms were a little shabby. Particularly the doors for some reason. The location was awful, a real pain to get to and from.

The view from the room Was quite basic for the price paid, I have stayed in premier inns which have ben of a higher standard. Shower didn't work properly and there was mould on the walls in the bathroom

Location was brilliant! Except the location, everything else was very disappointing! The room was filthy, very small and completely below standard. Shower was filddly, sink got blocked and the room did not shut properly!

The staff at this location we're fantastic and very helpful. I had actually managed to mix up my booking dates and arrived a month earlier than booked. Not good as this was a valtines weekend away with my finacee. They resolved this for me and got us into a room. To be honest the room was smaller than I had booked, and was in what I can only asume is the cheaper wing of the hotel. However a quick chat at the desk and a small upgrade fee got us into a suit and something much more in line with my expectations. Transport into town via the ferry and tube system, took some time, but was pleasent. It turns out that there is a bus almost outside the hotel which takes you right into town and is quicker and simpler.

Nice location in former docks location across from canary wharf with free ferry to get back and forth. Despite huge amounts of people at breakfast they managed to keep things moving, which is appreciated for business people on a schedule. Room was small and basic. Not what I would expect from Hilton. Especially for a newer hotel. Plug adapter and other ammeneties which would be free to use in other hotels, were in a vending machine. Typical British way to make proft on all services.

The location for us was great and the river views were great. Its being very picky but we asked for ice to be sent to our room twice and it still never came but hey like i say it being very picky. Everything else was fantastic
