We were asked if we'd like a upgrade to the new section which we did,was disappointed the carpets were dirty the chair in the room was soiled the flas shower leaked onto the floor and was very small

its location and restaurants were excellent so you would recommend its use - but the staff need manners and support!

the rudeness of the recption manageress/ supervisor. i have never been spoken to the way she did before :-( the restaurant staff were willing but over-stretched and therefore slow.

Being charged £0.01 on my credit card on top of what we had prepaid in advance, with no explanation and even after having brought it to the attention of the reception staff who said it would be removed but found a day later it had been charged to my card (could have cost me a lot of interest if I hadn't noticed!).

Service at the reception deck was good, quick check out (you just leave the key), breakfast not bad, location is great if you travel from gatwick any terminal

It was dirty in some places, like the windows in the breakfast room!!! Old firniture with a lot of scratches. There is no bar in the room, even no water, no socket euro type. Would recommend only if there is a need to spend a night in the airport

The bedroom was in need of a major upgrade. The carpet was badly stained, paint peeling on doors and skirting boards. In general I felt this room was not acceptable. I usually stay in sofitel which is of much higher standard than Hilton and will be staying there again

Long wait at reception, dirty run-down room, poor service, most dishes in Amy restaurant sold out, no hair dryer in room, noisy corridors, lifts broken, Hilton club card not accepted

Range of facilities under one roof with easy access to Gatwick Airport South Terminal

Nothing - used restaurant and Bar and all was very efficient and friendly.

Location is good for travelling and the food is good

Rooms need refurbishing and there should be bottled drinking water in the fridge

Convenience to airport south,terminal. Sole reason for staying there in order to catch early flight. Excellent dinner in Amys restaurant, good service.

Huge turnover by airport one-nighters, thus rooms while clean, are beginning to show some wear and tear.

The closeness to the airport terminals. I did not have to get up early to arrive at Gatwick for an early flight

While convenient for easy access to the airport, did not offer a wide choice for dining

very uncomfortable - bed was like sleeping on floor!! very high bar and meal prices - cheaper to walk into terminal for refreshments. would of expected better from a Hilton!!
