Great for terminal 5
The surrounding area is very industrial but once in the hotel grounds which are great you wouldn't know it.
We ordered the afternoon tea for two at 3pm, it arrived at 4pm and was for one. When I requested more sandwiches I was told it would be an additional cost and another 25minute wait. Ridiculous service ridiculous cost
Awesome lady! Friendly, courteous, professional! Excellent service. She is a true asset to the Hilton chain of hotels.
Nothing- this is the best hotel near LHR T5. THE BEST!
Very nice room. Excellent breakfast.
Courteous staff , five stars for cleaniless and comfort of rooms. Luxurious bedding and spa was awesome. Prices are reasonable. Will stay again in future
The room was excellent with extremely comfy bed and lots of additional complimentary items. Our evening meal was delicious.
The hotel lacked signage to restaurant, bar etc and where there was signs they were small or hidden. The electricity seemed to be causing problems in the bar, restaurant area as lights kept flickering or dimming.
We liked the luxurious rooms of the hotel, the modern style of the hotel and the friendly staff.
The breakfast was of poor quality, especially the hot breakfast was not up to the standard matching a Hilton hotel, also not enough choice. All in all a sub-standard breakfast.
every thing else especially the noise and the food
Room was upgraded. Very comfortable and use of exec lounge which is a very good facility. Eat at mr Todiwalas restaurant again excellent food and service. Highly recommended
Conveniently located for terminal 5. Quiet room, comfortable bed.
Constant music piped into common rooms. Strange lighting in the bedroom, bathroom and bar.
There was confusion over the sizing of the beds. The booking said single beds and on inquiry with reservations we were told a single bed was suitable for 2 i.e like a double/full bed as in most American hotels. Bed is indeed a single bed and can only sleep one person. Front desk staff and bell boy were very good and arranged to change our room to a larger room immediately on arrival
Hotel is cold and clinical. We arrived in the morning but after breakfast - but before lunch. Restaurant staff found it difficult to accommodate our needs - breakfast or lunch ( we were also confused after traveling 10 hours. - An airport hotel especially a Hilton should expect and cater for this. One of waiters had bad odour.
WiFi failed and couldn't be fixed until a long time after I arrived, I wasted so much time and had to work until the early hours when I should have finished everything within a couple of hours of arriving mid evening. Getting through to staff on reception to tell them of the problems was equally challenging, no-one answered most of the time.
nicely designed hotel from inside and out.friendly staff will greet you all the time.room was very clean and the mattress was fantastic!the therapy pool and steam room was small but ok for taking a relax, you have to book in advance for the treatment especially on weekends before it was fully booked!
left a new bought face cleanser in the bathroom and they could'nt find it :(
Nic quiet and cline room
Charg Car park for costumers
Staff were very friendly Breakfast was excellent, both in choice and taste
Parking was £12 for 1 night and breakfast, though great, was quiet pricey
Liked having seperate big bath. Room service was nice too and the food was excelent!
It was an American Hotel with an ice machine
Clean, breakfast good. Stuff helpfull. Near airport. Shuttle bus every half an hour but you need to be on time, they dont wait.
Too expensive, would expect more choises for a meal and the food is over overpriced... Bottle of water (750ml) 5£!!! Wifi didnt work well in the room. You need to pay for a shuttle bus, 9£ return ticket. Gym too small, its just for cardio.
Access to motorways and food quality were very good.
Only gripe was aircon would not go cold enough.
I liked everything plus the free 10 Arabic channels on tv and the indian restaurant its ( its not the best on the world but its nice )
I didn't like the location and the price
It's a lovely hotel, and the Indian restaurant on site is amazing!
The location is not great for layovers. You have to take a local bus to and from the terminal. The Sofitel is actually at the airport, right outside baggage claim at Terminal 5.
Staff friendly and helpful, location handy for Heathrow. Very good service and meal in The Gallery. Room comfortable and clean.
Once we arrived at the hotel, the staff was wonderful and kind, the room was clean and luxurious, and we had an amazingly relaxing time.
Although the hotel has "Heathrow Terminal 5" in the name, don't be fooled. You have to pay for a bus (and wait around if you missed it) or buy a cab to get to the hotel. Don't walk next to the bus and ask for a cab, they'll ask for 3 times the amount posted on the hotel website (you have to call the hotel and have them send you a cab if you want their rate). I've never been to an airport hotel before where they didn't provide a free shuttle, and this made the logistics of getting to and from the hotel very inconvenient. My wife and I had a time crunch in order to make it off the plane, check-in to the hotel, and make it into the city to see a show. Although I gave a very large extra buffer of time, the logistics of finding the way to the hotel made us late to the show (we had to run through London to barely get to our seats). Don't expect a hassle-free visit if you want to make plans in London while staying at this hotel.
