The best part of this hotel was the location, as we were attending a conference in the Business Centre which is literally next door.

The room, was very dark and gloomy. The view was of an alley way full of rubbish and rats running around. We booked a deluxe twin, which looked lovely on the hotel photos, but ive stayed 1 star hotels with better rooms. The room we were given was nothing like the advertised deluxe twin on the hotel photos. We did complain as we were given a small twin, not what we paid for... the manager of the hotel was very nice and apologised stating that they were fully booked and compensated us with an evening meal on the house.

Excellent location - 5 mins from Angel tube station with good surrounding bars/restaurants/shops in nice safe area. I had booked 10 rooms for a party of clients and all were complimentary about the attentiveness of the staff and quality of the hotel. Breakfast was good. I would certainly recommend this hotel for business, leisure or families.

One minor issue was the closure of the bar at 1.00am when there were several guests in the bar area?

The Breakfast: generous, good quality orange juice, friendly staff especially Carmen. Spacious bed/bedrooms which were well-equipped.

The coldness of the bathroom; creaky beds; noisy guests in adjoining/opposit rooms. No mirror within reach of the hairdryer

We stay with you at the Islington Hilton about every 6 weeks we are always very well looked after and your staff are always first class

I realkly find the air con difficult to change but your satt always help.

Location to design centre

Great hotel, close to Angel tube and only a 10 mn bus drive to piccadilly. Clean and comfortable, good service and kind staff.

Location is excellent for the city and west end areas. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained.

Lunch in the hotel was disappointing as two meals out of three were not as described on the menu and swimming in oil. That said the cost of the meal was reasonable.

We liked the excellent service, good, pleasant and friendly staff and well presented room.

Perfect location as Upper Street is one of the best streets in London and Sadler's Wells and The Almeida theatres are on the doorstep. A huge choice of restaurants, trendy bars and coffee shops as well as a couple of great worker's cafes for breakfast.

The radio alarm went off at 6am (obviously set by the previous occupant of the room) and we couldn't get it to go off. Perhaps the maids could turn them off when people check out.

The staff where very obliging. The location was perfect for my needs. The amenities were great, nice products. Liked the robe and slippers touch.

I would of liked extra room for a deluxe room the room seemed small for the price. A long mirror in the room is generally a must, it needed one. The showerhead neeeded attending too.

Very friendly and helpful staff...when I had a bad experience trying to call for room service (no fault of the staff I dealt with at all but a tech glitch on the phone or something, technical stuff) the guy who was in the reception for the night was more than willing to help me and kindly took my room service order :-). I asked for a reasonable upgrade and was surprised how massive the room I got was! I was alone in a 4 ppl bedroom! :-D.

The phone in my room had a technical glitch, when I pressed for room service to order some food I got a nasty reply on the other end, probably a glitch that made the phone call another guestroom and the person I spoke to there wasn't happy.
