Room was clean and comfortable and of reasonable size. Staff members were eager to help and polite. The drawers in the main unit were hard to open and did't seem to fit well upon their runners. We also experienced this in a Hilton Hotel in Manchester where the drawer unit was of the same design. Clothes hanging space is very limited. On the second day the wrong newspaper was delivered to our room, to get this taken off our bill took 15 minutes at reception! There are no public places in the hotel to sit if you are waiting for a taxi or to meet friends, there is not a bar.

Staying there was relaxing and everything on hand for ease of use Upgrade included small bottle of wine per day but didn't get one Thursday because we had not completely finshed the previous day's. If I had known I would have hidden it but this is only a small complaint and it not spoil the stay

Perfect location as Upper Street is one of the best streets in London and Sadler's Wells and The Almeida theatres are on the doorstep. A huge choice of restaurants, trendy bars and coffee shops as well as a couple of great worker's cafes for breakfast. The radio alarm went off at 6am (obviously set by the previous occupant of the room) and we couldn't get it to go off. Perhaps the maids could turn them off when people check out.

The staff where very obliging. The location was perfect for my needs. The amenities were great, nice products. Liked the robe and slippers touch. I would of liked extra room for a deluxe room the room seemed small for the price. A long mirror in the room is generally a must, it needed one. The showerhead neeeded attending too.

Very friendly and helpful staff...when I had a bad experience trying to call for room service (no fault of the staff I dealt with at all but a tech glitch on the phone or something, technical stuff) the guy who was in the reception for the night was more than willing to help me and kindly took my room service order :-). I asked for a reasonable upgrade and was surprised how massive the room I got was! I was alone in a 4 ppl bedroom! :-D. The phone in my room had a technical glitch, when I pressed for room service to order some food I got a nasty reply on the other end, probably a glitch that made the phone call another guestroom and the person I spoke to there wasn't happy.

Average- I was very disappointed to find that I was extremeley overcharged for the room and basic hotel. No internet inclusion, no breakfast inclusion...all additional charges on top of the gbp325+ rate. This is the rate of a top end 5* in London Mayfair which includes breakfast and internet!

At small hotels, one usually obtains free wifi. Why not at luxury hotels? It doesn't make sense...

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff - particularly the lady that checked us in. We brought our teenage sons to London so that we could attend an Arsenal football match and we had an exceptional weekend. The room was clean and comfortable, there was a good choice of food on the special menu in the evening. Thank you for helping making it a weekend to remember. We are very grateful to you and will be back after Christmas for another weekend. No complaints about anything - the only reason we won't be coming to this hotel more often is because of price. We live in Wales and to come up every other weekend to go to the Emirates Stadium means having to spend about £400 each time. If the accommodation was cheaper we might come more often............but absolutely no complaints about the hotel at all :)

Fantastic staff - genuinely appeared happy to help etc, particularly the breakfast staff. Breakfast was superb - plenty of choice & high quality foods available. Will definetly stay again on next London trip. No complaints at all but free wi-fi & a gym would've been a great bonus!

Courtesy of the staff, room size, welcome package, quality of restaurant food, very close to subway station. Carpet in room was old and not very clean. Internet was not free and expensive - 15 GBP per day which is not acceptable for a four star hotel. Ventilation in the bathroom stopped after 23:00 hours and if you took a shower bath filled with steam.
