Location is the only thing but for the money you pay and the room you get its not worth it. Better hotels out there.
Original Room they checked us into smelt bad, hair on new towel, carpet had stains. Complained and given a different room, which was better but still not of standard. Have stayed at this hotel before and the standard really has dropped.
Poor service the air condition or the heater was not working and every time you call the staff they said after 20 minutes and they never came that night, they want to keep me happy they gave me 4 drinks from the bar which I never had.
The hotel was convenient for a conference. The reception areas and bars were comfortable and well appointed. Bar and reception staff were very good.
Overpriced for what you get. the bathroom in my room needed a thorough re-fit.
The location and the hospitality.
The location, just a few minutes from padding tin station
The bed was so uncomfortable!
My tv wasnt working with the remote control, a call to reception and within 30 minutes a handyman arrived. After some quick checks he showed me how to use terrestrial only, he couldnt get pay tv which wasnot a problem as I just wanyted BBC news!
More comfortable seats in the bar would be nice.
Staff were fantastic - one head porter called Tony l, had helped my daughter who was lost on way to school a few weeks before and was so kind - we thanked him And he remembered her. Staff couldn't do enough. A rare thing in London hotels sometimes
The temperature of the room at night. Windows don't open and I can't sleep without some air - very stuffy and the air con made a noise so spent most of night awake and very very overheated. One man went down to the foyer for some fresh air in the night!
Price of food
Breakfast Resturant was good Room was ok...but heating was not working properly too.
The time I reached I was informed that my booking has been cancelled as my card was declined. He informed me that my room didn't include breakfast (indeed it was). So, he proposed me to pay extra and he will upgrade me to club launch including breakfast. So I end up by paying £150 extra for nothing.
Room with a view - 16th floor - warm and extremely comfy.
Bar prices - 1 pint Stella and small pint Grigio = £18 Almost
Nice hotel lobby, comfortable bedrooms, good city views, a minute walk away from underground, many restaurants in the area, approx 20 minutes walk to Oxford Street
Small and old bathroom, not enough lights in the bedroom, expensive in-room wifi
The bar area was lovely and the staff there particularly helpful.
We had an adjoining room (not containing our party) and the noise late at night was loud. There did not appear to be any sound proving between the rooms at all.
Stones throw from the tube and a pleasant walk to Marble Arch.staff were friendly and the hotel is clean and well maintained
£176 per night without breakfast is a bit expensive.
Location, facilities and comfort
No free wifi in the rooms. Breakfast restaurant to small for the hotel capacity.
Staff were excellent. Breakfast was well presented and great choices.
Price of sports bar drinks
Indeed a 4* Hotel. Very good location. Very nice staff. Good breakfast. Very clean one and comfortable bed.
The rooms have very different sizes from extremely small and unacceptable to good acceptable. As a family we were put in very small room that did fit us with our luggage "it was really bad". The Hilton Paddington has much nicer more spacious rooms, which will be my first choice from now
The staff were most helpful , especially a receptionist called Dean who on our arrival helped us find a bigger room as the one we had been allocated was small and dark . Breakfast was good although busy , the hot food looked as if it had been sat there a while but the choice of fruits and yoghurts made up for it .
Being charged £6.50 for a bottle of still water at dinner when we could have had a jug of tap water for free !!
Tv smart flat screen with good picture! Comfy bed
Breeze block wall was the only view from our room! Room was stuffy air con not very effective. Very menial supply of beverages only 1 normal tea bag in a twin room! Poor shower with little power. Location, was not aware it was in such a predominantly Middle Eastern community with lack of eating places!
Couldn't open bedroom windows
No one to park the car for the guests. The car park is small.
Restaurant was excellent. Room really good.
The speciality restaurant is not open on a sunday
All the staff were helpful and friendly and acted extremely professional under sometimes difficult conditions. Eg; some of your guests were openly rude to the waiters in the breakfast area. Your employees were courteous in response and immediately resolved the problem.
There was nothing my party did not like we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this hotel thank you for a wonderful stay.
Big clean rooms
Long queues for breakfast and checkin/checkout
Staff were terrible - customer service non existent
