Bed comfort Italian restaurant excellent for a hotel restaurant and dare I say reasonable price...
Under capacity for breakfast service
small room, strong smell
Over rated. You don't get what you pay for or for that matter what is offered. Standing in line for breakfast for 20 min. to only find a ravished buffet with nothing to offer was a shock.
We chose this hotel due to its close location to Paddington station and Heathrow Express. It was a 5min walk with luggage which worked well. The lobby and ground floor was nicely decorated. Tube station and bus stop were near. Continental breakfast was good. Complimentary newspaper.
Many Hilton hotel seems to be outdated on the decor. The lobby looked great but my room was from the 80s, not a 4 star experience. Non-complinentary wifi is expensive and low quality if you choose the cheapest option - which is not even cheap. My shower system was extremely complicated with three knobs.
The location is handy to Paddington Station for the Heathrow Express etc. The Edgwa tube station is just across the street as well. Great restaurant food.
Very close to all amenities and just a stone throw away from west end theatres and shopping malls, e.g, Srlfridges. John Lewis and Zara , etc.. The place is great and lived every moment of my stay. Breakfast very healthy choices, had variety to offer.
The rooms were too warm and the room temperature control was a little complicated to follow.
Lovely friendly service
Limited time allocation in swimming pool. Changing room too small
We loved this hotel. It was very clean and modern. Staff were fantastic, great amenities, food and bar.
Where it was
Good location excellent staff, few steps from underground.
Staff was being very friendly upon arrival. Bed's comfortable and location wise it's quite near to Oxford Street, Paddington, Edgware Road, Bus stops and Underground tube.
Didn't think of it as value for money and WiFi is expensive. Could've paid extra for an upgraded hotel with a free wifi.
Handy for getting into centre with access to 2 tube lines. Breakfast choice was great and always plenty even though it was very busy. Loved the whole atmosphere of the place.
Some of the staff had poor English and there was some poor service.
Lobby area is well looked after and the buffet breakfast was good. Staff were also very lovely.
Nothing special about this Hotel - paid nearly $1000 AUD for 3 nights and got a small room with TV and a tiny bathroom (shower over bath) & toilet. Bad value for money, was expecting something much more luxurious. Very plain room.
Worst Hilton in London.Room service is poor, guy who took my order was rude, waiter he did burp twice while he was bringing the food inside.I don't even talk about dust everywhere.
Stayed in London with tickets to the MC v Chelsea match in Manchester. Quick train from LHR to Paddington, 5 minute walk to hotel. Right on Edgeware Road tube stop and a nice 45 -hour or so walk to Trafalgar Square / Parliament/ Soho. Would stay again no question.
No toilet paper or towels in the bathroom upon arrival to my room which I had to wait 35 minutes for. The room smelt of mold and wet dog. The carpet had stains
Had some business in the city this was an ideal location for where I had to do business. Hotel with a carpark facility which is ideal in London it was just the business for me
I could cancel my booking before 10th of oct 16:00 pm, what hilton did is they charged me 174£ on 8th and they explained it as a guarantee amount that I will come! How come if I had an option to cancel?! The hilton charged me first 174£ and when I moved into hotel the blocked amount of 1254£ for stay plus 300£ deposit, so for each day 50£! Later on they didn't release this blocked amount and charged my card again with another 1307£ which was what I spend at the hotel plus amount to pay for staying! And still I'm waiting for my money to come back on my account!! I stayed at the hotel near heathrow for a week, it was twice cheaper plus there was no deposit! Never again will I stay at hilton! Avoid at all cost!!
Staff were very helpful.
TV kept going off. Engineer explained it was the aerial and the bad weather, attempted to fix it, but it kept losing the signal.
Staffs helpfulness, cleanliness and standard of room facilities
A little bit expensive
Facilities, location, helpful staff
Long walk to room! Brown decor
