Deşi rezervarea a fost făcută cu mai bine de o luna înainte la data când am ajuns efectiv la hotel la receptie au vrut sa incaseze o alta suma decât cea menţionata in confirmarea rezervarii. Norocul meu ca am avut printat e-mail-ul de confirmare ca altfel mi-ar fi încasat triplu. După acest incident de la receptie deja aveam un gust amar despre ce ar fi putut sa-mi ofere acest hotel. Am ajuns astfel la concluzia ca ceea ce pare o oferta foarte buna nu se confirma la fata locului întrucât sunt oferite cele mai slabe camere, pentru orice upgrade in confort si servicii se taxeaza in final.

i did not like any thing in my stay

yes their was, i request them to empty the fridge but they ask me to pay 25 pound to empty it, i really do not know what the reason for paying if i did not want to use anything in the fridge?? it was shame of them to ask me to pay for emptying the fridge!!! this is the first and last time i deal with this hotel !!

The breakfast

The staff really bothered to give good service, one example: When the que to the breakfast restaurant was long one lady picked us up and took us to another, where there was no que. These small gestures are important for how you think about the hotel!

Clean, helpful staff, excellent location

small rooms (particularly if you book twin room) and slightly below Hilton standard, but very livable

Large hotel, lots of facilities all contained within the building, which was great as the weather outside was pretty grim! Very handy for Oxford Street, theatres etc. Don't have to go through the congestion charge zone to get to it! Breakfast very good and value for money.

The rooms were a little tired, bed very hard (for my taste); I stayed in one of the Tower rooms, and you get the impression that the whole twoer needs a good decorate!

Location

Staff were friendly and helpful especially as the breakfast room was full and we were escorted to an overflow breakfast room which was excellent.

The bathroom needs a complete refurbish. The shower hose was broken, the silicone sealant showed signs of mildew. The shower curtain was dirty and the towels looked and felt old and past their sell by date.
