Staff were great and helpful Location to trains and tube
Bed was very hard and uncomfortable Parts of hotel need updating - old carpet
Everything, especially easy access to places
Everything is Perfect!
Location is great - close to Railway and Underground. Plus, easy to get to from Heathrow as well.
Some of the staff not as service oriented. Parts of the hotel are old and not updated.
ALL HALAL FOODS ARE NEAR THIS HOTEL
Its location and close connectivity to Central London, National Rail and the Underground makes it the best choice to stay. The hotel is clean with very friendly and courteous staff. Rooms are clean and well maintained.
Very small rooms, no luggage racks.
Breakfast buffet is so poor . No variety
Perfect location for the Heathrow Express and to Paddington station - Bakerloo Line and District & Circle line. The concierge was excellent.
Nothing of consequence.
A little noisy due to location. Tea and coffee was very over priced
Good standard Restaurant staff very good and customer focused. Close to London transport
Beds need to be either queen size or king size. Most double beds are better for single person accommodation.
Location to tube
Horrible, patronising, rude, obnoxious and just wrong attitude of staff, probably due to their ehtnicity and that of most of their customers. Beds were the worst I have ever encountered, bedding was threadbare, thin and useless. Furniture/bathroom were dated, damaged and harbouring bacteria. Very expensive for the service, facilities and lack of sleep quality.
The staff were always polite and courteous.
Heathrow Express wasn't running the one day we booked with the intent on using the express line.
Great location right on paddington station, very comfortable rooms, nice reception area, lovely breakfast with wide array of food items.
The bar area wasn't inviting and a glass of wine for 12.50 pounds was an absolute rip off which was why there was no one making use of it!!
Connection with paddington stations
broken tape not fix, not water the last day, black face
No one explained that the door key was needed to switch on lights
Sadly the family room faced the busy high street and was very noisy throughout the night. Poor sound insulation for the price of the room tainted the otherwise excellent hotel facilities. Rather small restaurant for the volume of weekend customers too.
+ well connected + nice rooms + decent breakfast + nice personel
- crowded - rather far from attractions - lack of wifi - no facilities for smokers (at least a terace)
The hotel was fresher and cleaner than I´d expected. Often hotels at stations are dull and grey, but I found The Hilton inviting and the bathroom was clean with good soap etc. Next morning, I enjoyed to be able to walk right down to the Heathrow Express. ALso, the tea and coffee tray in the room is something, which I really appreciate. Please keep that !!!
The concierge gave me wrong info about the check out and the bill, which he said would be brought to the room during night. I should sign it - he said. Next morning, there was nothting, so I had to set aside time to go down to the lobby and ask about it. Suddenly I got the message, that I should get a bill.. to sign. So I left, feeling a bit confused and unsecure, if everything is right with the finances... You also bloched 50 £ on my card and I would have liked a kind of receipt, that it wasn´t used.
I liked the cleanliness and location. the Hotle is physically on Padington train and tube stations. Heathrow express takes 15 minutes to Heatrow Airport. within walking distance from Oxford Street and Hyde Park. The staff were friendly and responsive to my requests.
I found that the Wifi was payable and overcharged, althought I booked a club room which more expensive than standard rooms. I did not like that the room key kept stopping working for 5 times the same day without reason. I was told that the reason wast I put with other bank cards.
The service in the restaurant was excellent - very polite and responsive to all requests. The booking of our luggage for safe keeping was also excellent.
On the initial booking we had requested a room with 3 single beds. We were a party of 3 mature (over 50) ladies and did not want what we got - two single beds and a rollaway. when we brought this to the attention of reception we were told that it would be taken care of. It wasn't and we were left with the impression that Hilton Corpn did not care. Also the bedroom and bathroom was not set up with supplies for 3.
Cancelled our reservation without informing us, refused to honor it, although they would give us a room at a much higher price. They charge $25 per day for wifi and the service was horrible! As a longtime Hilton Honors member, will not consider this hotel again. Too many good options to choose from in London.
