Everything was required to update the wi-fi login&password.
Did not like the location And also staff were not smily
Personal welcome on TV when menu pressed on remote, good view location was superb for Paddington area.cant rate the WIFI as didnt use it, but was available if needed.
Lifts were a bit small.
Paid for the WIFI 15 Pound for 24 Hours! Not very secure feeling - lobby is used as walk through to Paddington Station
Liked being able to walk out the back door to the Heathrow Express at Paddington Station. I also liked the patience of the waitress in the lobby bar who diligently counted out all the change I had left to pay the bar bill.
Having to pay for wifi in your room - this is an unnecessary expense and an inconvenience when you can access it for free in the lobby.
Everything about the hotel and peple were friendly
Charging for WiFi and that too on a per device basis, its unfair
outrageous to ask £15.00 for wifi in this day and age.
Location and room
VERY VERY COLD in the room!
The staff are the very best. And i have been to quite a number of hotels/apartments, so for me to say that, it means a lot. The Concierge team were extremely helpful. That's the best feature of the hotel. And the location was great. Very close to all the right places, The Brasserie restaurant located in the hotel serves wonderful meals. The hotel sits on top of the Paddington train station. Cabs are always driving by the front of the hotel. I could just go on and on really...lol
The cleaners need to be a bit more thorough with their cleaning of the rooms.
The beds, the location the suite and the breakfasts in the executive lounge.
Some staff esp. in the exec lounge had such poor English one wondered how the had landed a job there! The Brasserie and Steam bar were neither cosy or stylish. Expected much better for a 4* hotel.
Beeakfast = Hood
Saturday no fresh bread
Cannot fault location, and the hotel is what you would expect from a central London Hilton.
Over-priced compared to smaller hotels close-by. Staff could have been friendlier.
Noisy - first night on 1st floor opposite tube station, despite request at time of booking for room on high floor, meant hardly any sleep that night. After requesting a different room got 4th floor room on 2nd night but I could hear party on 1st floor until 1am, so again not much sleep
The concierge suggested a restaurant that was amazing so a big thank you to him. Unfortunately we didn't get his name.
One bar was shut for a wedding, the resident bar was shut at 11 so we couldn't have a nightcap when we came home from restaurant. Also the drink I wanted wasn't available on room service. This was a major disappointment.
Workmen outside from about 7am,being awoken by house keeping at 9 am when on a lie in treat away from little person and low level room after requesting high level room :-(
Everything was ok, We travell 3 of us and we got very good value for money.
I really hate to pay for wifi. 15 gbp per day is nothing else than primitiv cross sell
The room was very pleasant, comfortable and quiet. Dinner was excellent
The common areas were to busy, particularly with a constant stream of people passing from the road to the station, not even customers
Location was perfect for getting around London .The room was well laid out and bed was especially comfortable followed by a superb breakfast next day a lovely overnight stay will be back again.
No free wifi
Average resto, bar
Room was clean and bathroom was too, like that the shower curtain was white and clean!. Non stop checkout very convenient. Hotel interiors need renovation but the hotel was exceptionally clean so I wasn't too bothered by it. Front desk and concierge great.
Hotel interiors are dated and need refurbishment. Breakfast was crowded with a long line waiting to come in each morning. Standard of breakfast selection poor. Staff seem to be poorly trained or neglecting the basics of table services as cutlery was missing from the table and not replaced. My egg white omelette wasn't good at all could make better at home. Staff at the hot breakfast station should receive further training on customer service, they were shocking. Had to find wait staff to ask for coffee and find cutlery. In saying this all staff were pleasant and helpful when they did assist.
Fast and reliable wifi for work, the location is great and everything works with pleasant staff.
It has not be refurbished for a while, they have started updating the rooms, but they are a little dated.
Food, comfortable rooms, courteous staff, cleanliness and excellent location
Took Heathros express to Padington Station and the hotel was a walking distance.
Room too small
