Hilton London Stansted Airport    

I was bit disappointed. For the same price you can get a much higher standard hotel, or you can get same standard for a much cheap rate in Stansted.

Reception team were very obliging and helpful.

Location close to Stansted Airport. Parking deal for short stay overseas.

Restaurant service was very slow, Had asked for a bottle of wine to share amongst friends whilst waiting at the bar, and was told would have to wait to be seated in the restaurant for this to be served. We then had to wait a further 30 minutes plus. The service once seated was very poor, and we were constantly chasing orders, with the one course meal taking in excess of two hours

Disappointing maybe just unlucky this time. Food - pricey not good value for money needs more experienced chefs. Food cold had to wait too long for food delivery, veg raw. Waiter service good but more staff were needed. Room I was in 23/4/13 dark, gloomey.

Close proximity to airport. Only reason for staying there.

Superb staff and so friendly and helpful. It was our anniversary and we were very well looked after. Very happy.

Costs of internet and drinks at the bar a bit steep, cost us £45 to have internet for the weekend.

Terrible restaurant service. Very poorly managed and trained staff. Though restaurant was far from full, staff ignored diners, left tables with dirty dishes, forgot orders and then blamed chefs. We arrived to dine at 7:00 pm, only part of meal arrived at 8:00 and only after we had demanded service. The waitress in our section seemed to be doing all the serving and cleaning off. She was very efficient, but overwhelmed. The other waiter of our section spent time on his mobile and/or grooming his hair! We observed that other diners were experiencing similar service to ours. We were eventually not charged for our meal in acknowledgement of our experience.

ate 4 times in bar/restaurant over our 2 separate 1 day stays. very mixed experience, I day poor service and food, the other day much better, food expensive overall

Very clean, well-equipped, great sound insulation from nearby airport, and from other rooms. Straightforward pick-up from the airport via bus service. Excellent price.

Beds were comfortable.

Staff were incredibly rude. Every member of staff I encountered scowled and was unhelpful. I have never seen anything like it.

The staff went out of their way to get me a soda from the vending maching in the employee break area.

Location to Airport is not that convenient. The fact that I had to pay for transport to and from the airport. Lack of vending machines, I arrived later in the day. The only drink vending machine was empty, and there was no snack machine.

Good hotel as you would expect. Good bar, good room and near the airport

There is nothing else around the hotel but you probably would expect that :)

Staff very friendly and helpful and provided soya milk on our arrival (after midnight) on request (I am vegan and need milk for coffee).

The room was much smaller than I expected and the swimming pool was functional but small and not particularly aesthetically pleasing.

£3.95 for bottle of water in your room, £3 for to watch tv and only half a roll of loo paper and no spare

the price of the shuttle bus, there is no mention of it on any of the websites

Swimming pool and sauna too bad. its mentioned closing at 10:00 PM but they wanted to close at 9:30 PM as they wanted to clean up. we could not use it because staffs want to go to home soon. Not friendly staffs. Next morning we used it and pool is so dirty they do not clean I do not recommend this hotel any more.

Hard to park as many leave cars there for Stansted - possible to have a one night only car park - spent 20 minutes finding a spot

The restaurant was very disappointing. The staff were struggling to cope with service, and two of the waiting staff were arguing quite loudly in front of us, not professional.

Liked that there was a health centre in the hotel with pool.

Did not like that our room's air conditioner was not working.

Good and friendliy staff. Clean and tidy room.
