excellent friendly staff
Staff were very nice
Bath and tiles needed replacing
Swimming pool, sauna etc Ease of check in Friendly staff Fantastic breakfast
Only 1 pillow each leaving bed a little uncomfortable
Everything all good. If I had to wish for something it would be the removal of the curtain in the bathroom and a removable nozzel.
All good. Food excellent.
Good location. Quiet. Decent pub 5 mins walk.
everything incl the pool were tops and of course the special low room price over Christmas.
can't think of anything
Spacious room Pleasant decor Helpful reception staff
Unfortunately the breakfast was cold. The plate warmer had only been turned on at opening. Noisy corridors early evening No tea or coffee facilities in the room
Reception staff good Other than room facilites at hotel everything suited needs for short stay to attend function. The function itself was well run to a good standard
Overall it feels like a conveniance hotel for travelling salesmen or business conference. Reception staff at breakfast seem uncordinated and unaware of customer service. Would goes as far as to say the person who showed us to the table was borderline rude and uninterested.
Nice room. Great location Great price
Big comfortable bed
On arrival the staff checked us in and not much was said or explained, they just took the payment, handed us the card key to the room and advised our room was 'round there to the left' - the worst receptionists I have ever encountered. I believe a customer service course should be attended by all staff at this at hotel. So we headed towards our room after I checked on the enclosed slip what room we was in, as the receptionist did not advise us of the room number, with heavy luggage (no help encouraged) following arrows, we got to our room. Entering the room, it seemed pretty standard and dated, nothing spectacular considering it was a 'Hilton' hotel, the garden view we was advised we had was actually the dual carriageway we had entered the hotel from. From then we carried on with what we came to do, relax, get ready and head off out to Maidstone town. But we then discovered the shower did not work, so we had to run separate baths wasting more time. We arrived back to the hotel after our night out and went straight to our room, was preparing to get ready for bed when someone knocked very loud and forcefully on our room door. We ignored this as we was frightened and went straight to the phone in the room. As we went to call down to reception, it happened again! So we called. When staff came up to the room, we requested to be moved. After 3 times (an hour & 30 minutes) of asking, we was eventually moved - into an even smaller, dated room. NEVER stay here. We stayed here for one night and was not impressed at all. The staff are incompetent, the hotel is shabby and a let down to the Hilton hotel chain.
The wall mounted radiator did not work in the room. It was the only source of heat in the room. The flush in the toilet was not very effective
Package deal was really good value considering the quality of the hotel
Wifi in all of hotel should be free, as lots of cheaper chains are
Everything we needed was there
Costa Coffee closed early
when I booked online I booked garden views but got car park view booked for a queens size bed but got a double bed went and spoke to the lady on reception and she couldn't care went for dinner but ended walking out after seeing that there was nothing to choose from on the buffet apart from a couple of options I ASKED for a non feathers duvet an hour later I got a feather duvet so I went to reception and asked again waited another hour the only great thing from this stay was free car parking part from that awful stay NEVER AGAIN!!!
Desperately in need of refurbishment. Chipped paintwork, broken curtains, damaged furniture, bathroom tiles broken. Needs investment
Nice spacious room. Good food and staff. A brgain.
Pillows a bit hard
Room was an excellent size. Bathroom was well laid out, bed was comfortable and the room was warm. Breakfast was good. The Thai Red curry in the evening was really good (over priced though!)
I am always disappointed that having enticed you to a hotel with a good room deal, they then over-charge you for the bar drink and food. If there were alternatives nearby then Ok but this hotel isn't near any other places to eat.
The meal was very good, the hotel was not over crowned during our visit, nice and friendly staff and excellent environment.
The bed was squeaking.
Everything ... nothing to fault. Will definitely stay here again if I can get a good deal :)
Room was freezing cold on arrival & was cold during the night, hence a poor night's sleep.
Thought that £9 for a glass of wine a bit steep!
Front of house staff polite and attentive
Paid to upgrade bathrobe and slippers not in room nor was a terace was not even offered to move to a room with balcony even though had paid the extra.Lady on breakfast reception rude and disrespectful very dissapointed.
Bar prices are very expensive Bathroom are dated no walk in shower
The room was spacious and breakfast was good.
They had the worst travel cot bed and bed sheets for babies. Had to get it changed twice.
