The executive lounge axes was well worth paying the extra for.
Would have been better if you could get to cloud 23 bar from your room instead of having to go up in alternative lift and que
Views amazing! We had the king executive room and loved the free drinks and canepes up in the executive lounge! Staff were fantastic ... And room was amazing!
The telly in the bathroom didn't work!
the location was great had a very nice birthday celebration
Loved the spa facilities Breakfast was great Room was comfortable
Lighting in room was too dim
Location, view from the room and staff are excellent
Lighting in the bathroom was poor and the room was a little tied. Carpet was worn and discoloured and bathroom ceiling was stained and unsightly for a room of this price
Upgrade to exec suite on arrival. Superb view of Manchester, Welsh hills and beyond. Very comfortable room.
Opened mini-bar but didn't remove anything and was charged £7! Later removed from bill. Room temp control did not work
Not enough food in lounge
Very friendly staff
extra payment for cappuccino and expresso when breakfast is included in the room rate
Enjoyed the executive lounge, thought it was a very good idea and the comfort of the room
Some of the staff in reception (downstairs) seemed quite miserable
The staff, the location and the facilities always excellent. We have stayed many times and it is our number one choice for a Hotel in Manchester.
On entrance to the hotel, we were greeted with friendly and committed staff. The atmosphere was warm and pleasant, we stated in a queen deluxe room on the 20th floor .Definitely worth asking for a high floor. The vieW's are great .The room had everything we needed.Cloud 23 bar is the place to visit for a drink and check out the views.Breakfast offer so much choice .we would definitely go back to this hotel.Great location for the bars and comedy store on the lock.
The only issue was the cost of the wifi. Not sure why they charge that much.We have stayed in the a lot of hotels and it is normally free.
Floor to ceiling windows offering fantastic city views.
No free wifi
Nice hotel was a nice place to stay very clean n comfortable
Check in was quick even on NYE. Room was nice and clean.
Didn't like being locked out of the room from 12.30am to 3am on nye due to the battery going on the door lock. Had to stand at reception for this time until the engineer fixed the door. I was offered another room to stay in which I refused as all my belongings were locked in my room. I missed half of the night in cloud 23 while I was sorting the door out which I paid £125 for a ticket. While at reception waiting for my door to be fixed I witnessed a guest covered in blood being wrestled to the ground and another shouting abuse at the staff on reception. The hotel refunded me £50 without my knowledge for the inconvenience which I wouldn't have accepted as I don't think it compensates what happened on the night. I have since been offered another night at a discounted rate which I have refused. I have asked the front of house manager to raise this complaint to a more senior staff member. This is still ongoing.
Very stylish venue, staff had s class edge to them befitting the venue. Pool and leisure facilities good.
Nothing in particular, however, didn't eat there so no comment...
Executive lounge variety was poor Suits those who drink alcohol and want freebie drinks
I was overcharged at the point of leaving. Ive contacted Hilton customer services and have been ignored.
The value for money and location was very good
The carpet in the room has toe nails on and hadn't been hoovered with was very disappointing and the bathroom smelt musty!
Executive rooms are great View from room
Value for money breakfast is superb
Location and hotel facilities were great. Treated well and would use this hotel again.
If you wanted wifi there was a charge and not cheap. Luckily Manchester has 4G so no need for it.
Beautifully designed hotel, views from 9th floor great, breakfast scrummy!
Constant queuing for sky bar in hotel reception rather off putting, £15 for wifi in this day and age is absolutely disgraceful
King Suite Executive room we stayed in was the most beutiful room we have stayed in out of all the Hiltons we have stayed in. The pool was amazing (pity the jacuzzi was not working). Executive Lounge and staff in there very helpful and friendly.
We had planned our New Years Eve evening and were looking forward to going to Cloud 23. We knew as residents we could stay there until 8pm as per the Hilton website. We went to Cloud 23 just after 5pm and were told we could not stay as the staff were setting up for the evening. We both felt embarrased by being asked to leave, as the room was full of people enjoying a drink. We went downstairs to check ad the lady by the lift said there was no further access to Cloud 23 until 8pm and was ticket only (she checked with her manager). We are upset about this as we had planned our day to a tee. I have a screen shot of the Hilton Website where it states we could stay until 8pm.
We had complimentary bar between 6pm & 8pm in the executive lounge, and got breakfast as well which we weren't aware of when i booked , which was a nice surprise !!!
Having to pay for wifi , so we didn't bother !!!
Needed to queue to use the cocktail lounge cloud 23 when being a guest at the hotel so went out and spent money else were disappointing !
