Room was spacious & very clean. Staff are friendly.
Wi-fi not included in the room. Was unable to book for Cloud 23 & as residents do not get priority were unable to go as we had dinner arrangements
Cloud 23 bar
The location of the hotel and the views of the city
The fact that I had to return to the desk (no one answered the phone when I called reception) to request a room without an adjoining door. The change of room took some time to sort. The lighting in the room was extremely poor.
Cloud 23 manager was rude and I have put a complaint in
The room was excellent the pool and sauna were also great.
Very very slow service both in restaurant and staff in spa not answering phone. Same excuses!! We are just too busy. Not what I expected from the Hilton
The room, the pool, the sauna, the jacuzzi, the breakfast and the beauty spa were all fantastic.
We were not allowed to enter the cloud 23 bar even as patrons of the hotel on a 2 night stay.you should be able to go in for a cocktail at least.
Room far too dark to get ready in. No one helpful with regards to opening the mini bar, even though money was taken from my card straight away. The queue for the hotel bar was outrageous, did think this was supposed to be a perk to Hotel Guests, but absolutely wasn't.
The room is lovely great view very clean. The pool and spa area was really nice. Breakfast great
We rang hotel a few weeks before stay to say we wanted to go in cloud bar for a drink as it was a special occasion we were told this would be fine and we're not told to book and was given the impression priority was given to guests. We tried to go to the bar and we we're told to get to back of a very long queue all of the people in queue we're not staying at the hotel. I asked the receptionist surely guest have priority as told on the phone and she told me rudely we should have booked her attitude was disappointing so we didn't bother and left the hotel to go to a bar elsewhere .
I booked a queen bed and received a standard double. When I called reception they told me it was a queen bed when it was a standard 4ft double. The room smelt of sewage when I reported it they sent a maid who said there was no smell. The she sprayed the room with an air fresher. And to top it all off we was woken at 9.30am by the fire alarm test. Would not recommend the hilton. I have better night at travel lodge.
The location. and on this occasion that was it..
Stayed many times before, and never had cause to complain, the staff are lovely and helpful, we had problems with the room which I paid £234.00 per night for, the coffee maker didn't work, the tv wasn't working, the shower door didn't close, the executive lounge was packed and untidy. the biggest surprise was when I complained I was offered a £30.00 discount off my next stay when I spend £234.00 again. the management at this hotel are shocking. I really hope people take my advise and book a different hotel in Manchester, can I just add booking.com also tried to help with this matter and they are very helpful people will never stay at the Hilton again.
The executive lounge axes was well worth paying the extra for.
Would have been better if you could get to cloud 23 bar from your room instead of having to go up in alternative lift and que
A 21st birthday treat her initial thoughts "this is amazing" I think that summed up the trip well.
Views amazing! We had the king executive room and loved the free drinks and canepes up in the executive lounge! Staff were fantastic ... And room was amazing!
The telly in the bathroom didn't work!
the location was great had a very nice birthday celebration
Loved the spa facilities Breakfast was great Room was comfortable
Lighting in room was too dim
Location, view from the room and staff are excellent
Lighting in the bathroom was poor and the room was a little tied. Carpet was worn and discoloured and bathroom ceiling was stained and unsightly for a room of this price
Upgrade to exec suite on arrival. Superb view of Manchester, Welsh hills and beyond. Very comfortable room.
Opened mini-bar but didn't remove anything and was charged £7! Later removed from bill. Room temp control did not work
Not enough food in lounge
Very friendly staff
extra payment for cappuccino and expresso when breakfast is included in the room rate
Enjoyed the executive lounge, thought it was a very good idea and the comfort of the room
Some of the staff in reception (downstairs) seemed quite miserable
The staff, the location and the facilities always excellent. We have stayed many times and it is our number one choice for a Hotel in Manchester.
On entrance to the hotel, we were greeted with friendly and committed staff. The atmosphere was warm and pleasant, we stated in a queen deluxe room on the 20th floor .Definitely worth asking for a high floor. The vieW's are great .The room had everything we needed.Cloud 23 bar is the place to visit for a drink and check out the views.Breakfast offer so much choice .we would definitely go back to this hotel.Great location for the bars and comedy store on the lock.
The only issue was the cost of the wifi. Not sure why they charge that much.We have stayed in the a lot of hotels and it is normally free.
Floor to ceiling windows offering fantastic city views.
No free wifi
Nice hotel was a nice place to stay very clean n comfortable
Check in was quick even on NYE. Room was nice and clean.
Didn't like being locked out of the room from 12.30am to 3am on nye due to the battery going on the door lock. Had to stand at reception for this time until the engineer fixed the door. I was offered another room to stay in which I refused as all my belongings were locked in my room. I missed half of the night in cloud 23 while I was sorting the door out which I paid £125 for a ticket. While at reception waiting for my door to be fixed I witnessed a guest covered in blood being wrestled to the ground and another shouting abuse at the staff on reception. The hotel refunded me £50 without my knowledge for the inconvenience which I wouldn't have accepted as I don't think it compensates what happened on the night. I have since been offered another night at a discounted rate which I have refused. I have asked the front of house manager to raise this complaint to a more senior staff member. This is still ongoing.
