Dining arrangements and friendly staff. Very helpful arranging taxi.

No lift with heavy bags. Also, couldn't bring disabled friend here because of that. Walls are quite thin between rooms as I could here next door very clearly well into the night. People have every right to talk in their room and they were not shouting, but it was a bit frustrating.

Central location for visiting family and friends , places of historical interest , a perfect stop - over on the way to Southampton for a cruise holiday !

Unable to book a weekend break on a number of occasions , as you've been fully booked !

It is a well laid out well designed hotel

The restaurant was not open & the bar food was poor . The hotel needs a little tlc a little paint here but& there and the showers over the bath leak down the side of the bath panel needs tileing not too bad the breakfasts bacon was very salty. The barfood was very expensive for the quality it was.

Uncomfortable beds. Room was not very warm. No extra pillows and no blankets available.

Location of hotel, friendliness and professionalism of hotel staff, nice atomsphere in open areas.

Evening food could have been a little more appertising , not good vegi choice on the evening we stayed. One of the bedrooms booked was very cold, radiator not working, fan heater supplied on request and noisey radiator in my bedroom, had to turn down to avoid noise of rushing water during the night.

Nice large room with comfy bed, clean linen and large t.v. clean bathroom with toiletries. room cleanliness was good.

The location for our visit was excellent, hotel was up to a v good standard with friendly , helpful reception and restaurant staffs. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. We enjoyed our stay tremendouslyand will be back again.

Tv did not work, had to move rooms at 10.15pm. Terrible matress, could feel springs. Not the best finish and cleanest of rooms.

The entrance is very welcoming and the interior of the main part of the hotel is stunning.

The bedroom decor and upkeep was very disappointing. One of the twin beds was shockingly bad and the toilet paper was awful!

Quite simply the worst hilton hotel I have ever stayed in!

It was very clean, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was lovely.

Being able to hear the people next door using the toilet,not good at all! walls far to thin.

Staff couldnt speak good english, staff unaware of directing us to other locations locally for entertainement , quality of dinner poor not enough choice, staff didnt clear our plate after each course we had to do it our selves, pillows to hard , bed uncomfortable too hard, tv wouldnt work properly,cleaning staff chatting all time

It was a most convenient location with access to many different areas of Southern England. It was also very quiet. It was easy to locate. The dining facilities were most acceptable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It had all that one required for a longer stay.

The heating controls were difficult to understand

Nice to be able to relax away from the hustle and bustle of life. friendly and informative staff.

We were so upset to find we were unable to eat in the restaurant. Our first day when arriving was going to be so special to us but on dressing up for dinner was told that we were only able to eat in the bar. Further still, when asking where the piano player was, we were then informed that he had not been there for about six months or so. This was advertised as being a good restaurant with a piano player in the bar. We also found in was advertised outside the hotel on arrival. May I suggest that you change what is advertise or have a piano player and open the restaurant. Hoping you will take note. Thank you!

Rejected first room allocated because reeked of cigarette smoke. Disappointed with cleanliness and smell of second room, hair in bath plughole, window blind broken, net curtain dirty, lampshades thick with dust, decor jaded, no bathrobes supplied, breakfast orange juice very artificial & undrinkable.

Room size was very good, even for a standard room, cleanliness was superb and the staff were very helpfull and efficient. Tesco and shopping park with loads of shops within walking distance

Most of the advertised features that attracted us to the hotel were actually an additional cost. From the wifi (£15) to the water in the room (£4), we were worried about touching anything in case it was added to our bill. The restaurant was the biggest let down with only 5 main courses to choose from, and 2 had run out. However, the food on the limited menu was in fact very nice but hugely overpriced. The "piano bar" was lacking a pianist, so basically a bar with a piano in it - and a whiskey/water and a glass of wine was £18! Everything was just ludicrously expensive, even a movie cost £9.50 to watch, crazy when you can buy the DVD for £4 from Tesco round the corner.
