Breakfast was outstanding. Room very clean and great value
the way we could change our room after we encountered a mobility problem with our room being up stairs
Breakfast and waiters very polite and attentive without being in your face
The bed it was more comfortable on the floor
Good size room with good facilities.
The mattress was lumpy and too soft with visible body dents. Having to pay 3 pounds extra on the room rate for parking which was not on the booking.
Car park is enough space.
Room is not too clean. Hotel sign can make bigger on the highway so it is more easy to find.
Hotel was clean, thumbs up for gym.
Location is not so good, you are in the middle of nowhere and taxi is the only way to get into town, and you have to wait for taxi more than 25 minutes. Some food for breakfast was not fresh.
We liked the big room and bathroom. The breakfast was good. My wife enjoyed the swimming pool.
The location did not show up on the car navigation instrument. Instead we were taken to Oxford Road north of the motorway.
Breakfast perfect. Dinner excellent. 'Goodies' in room
The Hotel allows pets to stay. Having to pay for parking. The price of bottled water at dinner.
bathroom mouldy, in need of redecoration!!!
Price for room £49
Reception staff poor English speaker.. no knowlage of the area.. bar staff waiting for over 10min for someone to come in and be served. . Gym staff not helpful .
Breakfast and dinner very good. Pleasant helpful staff. Situation good for the motorway.
Room was a bit tired and basin in the bathroom was cracked.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb and offered every choice imaginable. My room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. There was a nice atmosphere in the hotel.
The hotel should not offer pool facilities because on the 2 occasions I went to swim the pool was full of toddlers having swimming lessons! They had roped the pool off so there was only a fraction available to the hotel residents. I had gone way for a break and had specifically chosen this hotel because it had an indoor pool. I feel that this information provided is misleading. The Living Well as it is called has nothing to do with the hotel as such and so there was nothing reception could do. There were swimming lessons all Saturday pm and Sunday am just when we wanted to swim. Pay for your parking on line otherwise the car parking charges are exorbitant!
Everything was clean and comfortable. I was there for a nearby personal event, but it looks like a well located and well equipped business centre. Beds were great and cozy and it had a fitness centre and full breakfast. My only complaint is that there are no screens on the windows and it was open on arrival and I had to remove some dead spiders and bugs (was September though so is the season) . Otherwise all was great!
The breakfast in the restaurant was good.
The Rooms were musty and dusty; drawers full of dust, used ear buds on top of the wardrobe. The curtains and bedding including pillows were dusty. No Fridge in the room. No chance of a bucket of ice unless I opened a Tab with the Evening Desk Clerk ony Room Bill. Turns out the ice machine was broken.
friends had to wait for room to be cleaned wasn't ready until 3.30 and then cleaners arrived in there room at 10.30 am when they where still in there. couldn't understand the english of the lady serving and breakfast and felt the staff in general not very friendly
The hotel was in a perfect location for our trip. Friendly staff.and really nice room. Bed was cosy. Breakfast was excellent.
We turned up as 3 expecting to check in. But had to wait 20/30 mins and we were due to be somewhere for 4. So we had to rush.
Freebies of water and chocolates
The fact that breakfast isn't standard but need to be paid as an extra at £10 and yet the hotel give freebies each day on 2 large bottles of water and chocolates and a small wine.
The overall atmosphere Staff polite and approachable
Had to remind staff of what had been promised in our room Bar area- tables not cleared Car parking fee: no choice. Unnecessary
Hotel was bright and welcoming. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly and we had a really pleasant stay although short
Good night's sleep near the function that we attended. Breakfast was great.
Only one person staffing the bar, spilt drinks were not cleaned up on the bar, table was not cleared until we asked for it - 45 minutes after sitting at a dirty table. Drinks not served at the dining table, overpriced buffet food looked dry and very unappetizing so we ordered at the bar - pizza was dry and overcooked. Chicken, however was lovely. In the room - sink and bath were cracked. Bin under the desk hadn't been emptied from previous occupants. Lots of what looked like breakfast dishes outside other rooms which hadn't been cleared by the time we arrived at 7pm.
Food was very good and plenty of it.
Staff were hard to understand not many of them were from the UK
Easy to find and ideally located for the traveller with friendly reception and staff. A welcome drink as we checked in. The room was modern and clean with all the facilities that you would expect. A good comfortable bed which meant I felt refreshed the following morning. A dip in the pool, sauna and steam before breakfast. Breakfast outstanding as you would expect from Hilton hotels. Spacious lounge area which was comfortable and relaxing. Overall, extremely happy with the quality of our stay and value for money. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend the hotel.
Car parking was ample and secure with barrier access but had to pay for parking. Not expensive but something that should have been complimentary to residents at the hotel.
Nice room and comfortable bed.
Service from the bar was very slow seemed to have inexperienced staff.
The pizza I had for dinner.
My room wasn't ready when I arrived although it stated 3 pm. My coffee was only luke warm which I ordered while waiting to get into my room. No lift. I had to wait for my room to be ready although it had stated 3 pm was the time it was available. My coffee was luke warm which I had while waiting. She did eventually change it. No lift.
