The room was capacious enough and the breakfast was good in the mornings. The room was clean also. Large windows shame about the view. Newspapers were ample The staff hastily checked you in and seemed annoyed by the questions I put foward to them, the room service I ordered was overpriced and the quality was non existent. I was promised a river view and got a roadsideview with obstructive pillars. |

we like the crisp clean design of the hotel also the position for getting around the immediate area is excellent, the facilities appear good but although i have used the hotel on several occaisions previously have never gotten around to using them. Too expensive but to be fair I would have had a much better deal had i booked earlier! |

The location of the hotel is perfect and the hotel itself was very nice, spacious and clean. We had requested a room with a view of the river, that was the only reason for us choosing the hotel. We didn't get this and the hotel blamed you for not passing our request on. |

Fantastic Value, Quality and perfect City Break Hotel I had a couple of other rooms booked and they messed up the booking. Rooms were allocated incorrectly ( double allocated when I had booked a twin ). Other than that fantastic. |

It was long journey for me to newcastle and unfotunetly the staff were not treating me in a profetional way. First, they said that I dont have booking and I nedd to pay different fees and I asked them to use internet to print my confomation booking they really left me for long. It will be my last time to stay in newcastle hilton. |

It was all ok apart from they charged the money from my debit card, when I asked they said it was just for authorisation and won't be charging anything to it and it took 3 days for the money to reappear in my account. I felt that they lied to me and has put me off staying at any hilton hotel again although it was a nice hotel. |

Attend Gateshead Jazz every year and have stayed in different hotels in Newcastle. My advice is dont bother - stay here. Reasonable price for facilities. comfortable and handy for city. |

Staff friendly and nice breakfast and lovely hotel We booked two rooms and were put on separate floors for river views which none of them was as good as the view as we had last time we were there. |
