This historic country inn has delicious food and luxury rooms. It is within a few miles of the famous Celtic Manor Resort, home of the 2010 Ryder Cup. The Old Barn Inn dates back to the early 1750s.

Leisure facilities and breakfast were great
Not having room serviced every day, rowdy groups playing knocky door run and making nuisance phone callsat one o'clock in the morning
The kids room
The déco could do with an upgraded
this place should not be called a Hilton. room not clean, staff banging on door early in morning, no hot water in morning. this was not a hotel....
The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind and the place was very clean and welcoming.
The beds were very uncomfortable. This has let the place down and I probably wouldn't stay there again due to the bad quality of the springy hard mattresses. :(
Easy access from the motorway with good links into the city if required. Excellent food especially the 11pm snacks. Friendly service from all the staff
Could be better signposted on the approach island. Hot tub was tepid and lacked power to the jets. Service from Costa coffee bar was slow and a little overpriced.
Staff, excellent. Bar food good.
Rooms and corridors need refurbishment. Carpet " tatty " internet in the room poor
Staff were attentive and the room was large and comfortable if not a little tired and old in design.
The wifi on my apple device was shocking. Would not store it and kept dropping out. On the MS laptop it was fine however?!
Enjoyed a nice meal in the evening
Pretty much everything except the meal in the evening. Dated decor, poor cleanliness in the rooms, rude staff and an overall dissappointment for my partner and I. What else more can I say.
Swimming pool, gym, both dinner and breakfast was excellent
Bath and shower needs modernising,no sky sports or satellite TV in rooms, your charged for use of wi-fi.
staff good except old lady in morning shift with short hair in reception, she very bad
The jaccuZzi the service was really good and reception were really friendly and attentive would reccomend this hotel
Everything fantastic except room service value for money was poor we got cheese and biscuits for £8 and there were very few crackers and 3 very small slabs of cheese just seemed a bit extortionate for what it was.
Staff very helpful and pleasant. All staff said hello in corridors etc. Breakfast perfectly fine. AM Duty Supervisor did an amazing job of pacifying guests.
Carpets worn through and taped at the edges in main lobby. LivingWell facilities less than clean Walls paper thin Bathroom very poorly decorated and grubby all over room. Bad decorating and carpets dirty in sink area. Unfortunately, other guest noise until 2-3am (football team) Really, floors should not have been mixed. Real shame for everyone that evening. Sorry Hilton, but this is not a Hilton at all!
For a Hilton the rooms were not what I would expect. It is clean but in need of refurbishing. General breakfast ok, but ordered pancakes with fresh berries - pre packaged pancakes, lukewarm and berries comprised of 2 strawberries of which one was already mouldy.
close to m4,leisure pool,sauna,steam,gym etc.good breakfast,
Wedding reception excellent
Location Bath Robe
Found pubic hair on the carpet (stuck to my foot when I walked around) totally disgusting - obviously not hovered properly. Bed was supposed to be a 'delux double' but it was two singles pushed together, and you had a great lump in the middle where they met (one side obviously higher than the other), which hurt your back if you rolled on to it! Hardly a Delux! Room was so dark you could hardly see what you were doing, there are no lights on the ceiling, you had to rely on lamps. Plus they then charge you extra for parking....
TRAFFIC NOISE FROM M4
Lack of lighting on Hotel signage at road side sign on A48 and at next turn in to hotel - gven I arrived in the dark after coming off the most horrendous road way roundabout I've encountered - not obviously hotels fault
Good sized comfortable room. Washbasin and mirror outside the bathroom/toilet.
Only one 'relaxing' chair
Breakfast was good - lovely choice and range.
The bathroom was tired and in need of a deep clean/update. Grout was dirty, the shower curtain was one of those that stuck to you as you tried to wash, the bed was too soft, the lighting was bad - impossible to read by or put makeup on! I can't believe there wasn't free wifi in the rooms - having just back packed around Costa Rica and stayed in some very basic hostels where they all had free wifi in the rooms made me chuckle! The cleanliness wasn't great - big long hairs in the bathroom.
Lovely large clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly helpful staff, with an amazing breakfast in the morning. Also plenty of parking and good internet service.
Staff excellent, food good,
Looks tired and in need of updating.
Large rooms, good beds and free wifi. Nice pool area
The bathrooms very dated, needs some upgrading in places
