Hilton Northampton Hotel    

we were part of 2 bookings,our roomwas ok on 2nd floor, but the other person on floor 1 had no sleep sat night due to a noisy party and people shouting all night.I did complain on checking out but nothing has been done so far

Lovely room, polite efficient staff. Location.

Drunken people wandering round from wedding reception, shouting down the corridors into the early hours, slamming doors and threatening to fight other wedding guests outside the hotel.

I liked the friendly staff.

We stayed there during the week and wanted a nice romantic relaxing environment but there was a lot of business people in the lobby all the time which took the niceness away from the hotel.

friendly staff,comfortable room,we asked for a quiet room as their was a wedding on,the staff oliged no problem and we had a really peaceful stay,no banging doors like most hotels.

The swimming pool area was far to hot,the male changing room could do with changing cubicles instead of a central changing area.some things should remain private!!!

Pool, gym etc. Friendly staff. Large room. Good food. Great breakfast.

Restaurant, food was really nice but service was rubbish, unfortunately this was on the first night so didn't eat in the hotel again and made our first impressions of the hotel quite low. It was our first stay in a Hilton hotel and was expecting a lot better, we found ourselves comparing to a recent stay in a Holiday Inn Express which we never thought we would be as didn't think would be in the same league!

Nice room, good parking.

Breakfast only just warm, very noisey through ajoining room walls.

The check in was straightforward and fast. The room was lovely and spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and to be served by native British staff was a rare luxury in immigrant Britain

The sound proofing was poor. I was next to a stairwell and corridor and as the average Brit has no manners and no consideration for other guests, I was awoken every hour throughout the night until 3am when partygoers made their way to bed. The hotel should not rely on polite notices to guests but should beef up the sound proofing and find a way of quietening closing fire doors

The stay was cost effective and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly

The hotel cleanliness should have been better. No lifeguard on the pool and no A.C. To cool the rooms

The lady eagerly changed our room from a double to a twin, as initially requested. The steam room was working (so often they are not in hotels). Good breakfast choice :-)

I remember this hotel being opened in the 80's and it's now looking old-fashioned and drab as it's not been updated.

The staff were very friendly and food was great. Rooms were big and spacious

Felt it was a bit run down and wasn't what I was expecting for the name "Hilton" Black mould was visible in the bathroom Bed was uncomfortable

Attitude of staff. Not rude actually did their job but even a smile would have gone a long way .

Large Clean Room

Open 24 hours. We arrived at 11.30.P.M. Slept well in a very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Will stay again if we're in the area.

Had trouble finding it in the dark. We had to ask for directions at the Holiday Inn Express. Maybe it's easier in daylight. Would have liked 2 shower/bath washes (1 each)

The staff were excellent. As I passed the cleaning staff in the corridors, and indeed encountered all staff incidentally, they were all polite and friendly. Very impressed.

I was sure that my booking included a breakfast, which I discovered not to be the case on arrival. However this could have been my mistake at the point of booking.

i slipped in the bath on what looked like an in built bath mat ... it was not & I still have a four inch bruise today!

The rooms we a good size and well laid out. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choice

1.Poor shower quality 2.It took over 30 minutes to get checked in. 3. As it was my wedding weekend and I was checking in with my bridesmaid we explained that we had a large amount of thigs to bring in and asked if there was a trolley. The reception pointed to the doors and told us to use the one outside. I was rather shocked as I have stayed in Hilton Hotels in the past and would normally expect to be offered a bell boy service. We had to struggle with the heavy, wobbly trolley and then as the hotel had no elevator we had to make several trips up and down the stairs in order to get everything to our rooms. 4. It took ages for them to find that I had made an additional nights booking. 5. All of the public areas seemed very scruffy. 6. The sound proofing in the rooms was non existant. 7.The staff in many cases were a bit rude. 8. My friend thought that she had arranged with a Manager for champagne to be delivered to our room in the morning as we would be getting ready for the wedding. This did not come and finally a friend went to reception and organised it again. We had chosen to stay here over our wedding weekend along with a large group of our family and friends. I did not feel that the service was overly good and would not recommend someone in the same position to stay here. It was not romantic at all.

I did recieve 50% off the bill as a result of the hot water issue.

There wasnt any hot water in my room, it was only luke warm. I called the reception at 21.00 hrs and was told that they were going to check the boilers and come back to me. Nobody did.. I couldnt have a shower at all throughout my stay.
