Fantastic central location, room was very clean and spacious. Staff were excellent, I left my phone in the room when I had checked out and only realised when I got to the train station. I phoned reception who got in touch with housekeeping and went to look for my phone. Once they had found it they arranged for a taxi to bring it to me at the station, excellent service and very helpful. Breakfast was beautiful!!! Residents bar stopped serving at 1.30am.

It was in a very central location next to a big shopping centre and close to many eating places. We were attending Soulicious at the Nottingham Arena and it was just a 15min. walk which meant we did not have to spend money on taxis. We opted for an upgrade and were given a room right at the front on the fifth floor and it got very noisy at night with police sirens and a lot of shouting outside. We also found the bed a little bit uncomfartable.

Price!!!! Got an exceptional offer online. Friendliness+helpfulness of staff, room, spa facilities available & convenience of location Only downside would be not being able to stop here unless offers are available, as normal price is too high

Very good value for money as it was only £ 110 for 2 nights for me and my partner, not sure if we had some sort of offer , but I have stopped in normal bed and breakfasts and it cost me more money and we didn`t get a breakfast at some of those .

The food and service were excellent. The location was excellent for our weekend. The linen and towels were nice and clean. The room was sadly in need of refurbishment. The floor creaked all over, the window frames were not clean and should be replaced ( old secondary double glazing in 2011 ?? ) The decor is old and marked / chipped. Not up to the standard we have previously found in other Hilton Hotels.

Very good location, right beside Victoria Center and the Cornerhouse. Close to all main shops and restaurants. 40 minute bus drive from Airport. High standard food and drinks in Nicholson's (hotel bar). Breakfast was lovely with a lot of variety. Room was very small and dated interior. New hotel bar just opened Nicholson, found staff over bearing and felt we couldn't relax with there constant coming over to you. Even though the website states jacuzzi in leisure center this was not the case no heated jacuzzi is available it is just a part of the swimming pool you can sit in.

Central location, staff were nice. Nice breakfast. Staff use the same lift so spent probably 15% of our stay standing outside the lift doors !!! Very poor. Trying to charge £20 to keep your car in the car park !! Bathroom very dated and old fashioned !! Room has only one biscuit each !!

We liked the location and the breakfasts were the best we have had in a hotel. The room was stuffy a little bit dirty and the lift for the 6th floor was out of order.

The location was excellent. We went to the Alfie Boe concert at the Royal Concert Hall and were only a couple of blocks away from the venue. The desk clerk mentioned when we checked in we would get a complimentary newspaper the next morning but we did not receive one.

Only friendly staff. Everything is bad. We booked the hotel because of its location and the reputation, but as it is located in the city centre, there is not a carpark in the hotel, we have to park the car in the other carpark near by and paid the extra parking fees. The room was not comfortable at all, esp the bed. The lift need to be waited for long time everytime. Also, its wooden floor and design of rooms related to a 'historical' building. And it's not worth of the money we paid.

Everything spot on bar: Room was meant to be deluxe - small, nothing really stood out as deluxe. Car parking - had to pay £20 which you shouldn't really have to as a guest.

“The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The shower was great - really powerful. We had a lovely view as we were on the 11th floor. The staff were really friendly and allowed us to have our room until 3pm, at no extra cost, so that I could shower after running the 1/2 marathon. Breakfast was good.” Cynthia, St Albans |
