Just about everything.....very good indeed.
Position very good for bus into Portsmouth. breakfast good. staff very good especial Danny Gordon.
Noise from highway. bed quite hard.
early breakfast location late arrival
not many staff
Everything but breakfast
Breakfast seemed disorganised and there was no one around to ask for anything that was missing 'ketchup' for example!!
Staff friendly and helpful rooms spacious and beds comfy
The taxi company used by hotel!!!
Dirty Appallingly poor service Very poor breakfast
The staff were very good and helped us a lot. Will stay again next year.
Staff bent over backwards to help you , made you fill welcome .
Down side first night had really bad sleep due to the mattress , arks to move room next day tride mattress in second room but the same, was giving 3rd room mattress better had better sleep, but not sure if I would use hotel again, I do vist Portsmouth on a regular bassis might try it when they sort out miner problems .
Great hotel on the outskirts of Portsmouth, friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable room. Very quiet considering you're a stones throw from the A27
Very squeaky beds, every time you moved the bed was very noisy. Drinks in the bar were extortionate, over £10 for 2 drinks, disgusting. You could tell the hotel was ready for a refurb, all just slightly tired, but still clean and comfortable
good size room
Friendly and competent staff. Good breakfast included. Room was fine (though hotel chairs are never comfortable!). Location is not pretty but very convenient for the road system. Would happily recommend.
Entrance driveway to hotel almost invisible, especially in the dark when it looks rather dodgy! Appalling lighting in the car park - take a torch! Exiting the car park is a compulsory left turn and right round the interchange if you want to turn right!
Location Availability of room on short notice
No air-conditioning Self service breakfast (very limited selection with average coffee ) Twin single beds (makes little sense)
Lack of room service Food menu All a bit tatty
Comfy bed Good food in bar
Very hard to find when driving, couldn't see any signs. Bathroom exhaust fan on a pre-set timer so is only on between 7am and 9pm.
Comfortable bed, big room and good value for money. Nice breakfast.
Shower in my room was not so powerful
The rooms were clean and tidy. The facilities in the room included tea and coffee making facilities. As an added bonus there was access to an iron and ironing board. There was Wi Fi in the hotel. Breakfast was included and there was a good choice available.
Part from the hotel, as above, the fact we could use local buses made our 'tourist trip ' relaxed. Located just outside near the Shell garage with return across the road it was perfect for an older couple with one recuperating.
Not having the restaurant for use for evening meals.
The helpfull friendly staff, the free buffey breakfast. It was very clean and comfortable. You could not ask for more.
The signeage from the road was very poor, especialy at night. I thought i was driving into a petrol station, and even pulled out and went around again, very confusing.
Everything was as we expected. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Bar drinks suprisingly cheap. Very clean rooms. We'd come back ☺
The problem was a squeeky mattress!! I didn't get much sleep. The choice of breakfast was very limited. We heard cars passing all night. The hotel is located near a big roundabout and a petrol station, but you can check it on Google Maps before you book a room.
Just about 10-15 minutes drive from the Historic Harbour. Spacious corner double room with settee and armchairs. Very comfortable bed. All the staff we have encountered were very pleasant and helpful. Food was excellent. As a result of these we will certainly be going back in the future.
Spacious rooms, extras like ironing board and iron and bathroom scales, very friendly staff, lovely bar and restaurant areas, plenty of free parking, fab breakfast.
Evening menu was limited and mostly only available from Sunday to Thursday with only Pizza and Baguettes at weekends. Booked for the Saturday night at £59 for the room, decided to see if we could get the Friday night too at short notice, room was available but wanted £89, I said that was a lot more and was told it was because they were quiet so rooms were dearer???If they were quiet, surely booking the room out at £59 was better than it standing empty...didn't go Friday on principle!
This is a former Marriott Hotel that is undergoing renovations and a transformation to become a Holiday Inn Express in February 2015..... While the foyer and dining room are modern the hallways and rooms are going to be updated.....beds are comfy..showers are hot and the breakfast included has continental as well as hot food....excellent value and was convene intently located off the A 27/ M27....the kitchen staff was more than willing to make something off the menu outside the normal eating hours....
There was not any other restaurants within walking distance......and the hotel location itself is not very well indicated......
No swimming pool
Friendly helpful staff Good sized rooms Lovely breakfast Plenty pillows and towels
