Score from 133 reviews Very good
The location was great with excellent facilities and very clean. Beds are big and bathroom and room very spacious.
I found it difficult to understand the hotel staff which was a bit frustrating when ordering food or asking questions at reception.
good value. room with view. spa & golf. food etc. We enjoy coming to this hotel.
very poor sound quality on the tevision. You had to push very hard to open the bedroom door!
Location, helpful staff, EXCELLENT breakfast. Communial areas.
Poor sound insulation between rooms. Initial room gloomy, second room needed some TLC, uncomfortable bed.
Facilities Staff Value for money Location
because the place that was booked for my child was not comfortable and he couldn't sleep, also there was many tiny insects so I sat in the lobby until morning.
Meals and service very good, pool etc excellent .help from staff very good.
Did not like the bed to firm.only full fat milk in room.no hot water on sunday morning. silver fish in bathroom.
It was a good location for a party, plenty of room to get together with friends, Breakfast was very good.
Drinks were rather expensive and the meal in the evening was very poor for the money. I paid extra to have a sirloin which was very tough,
rooms need up dating no hot water meal was poor had 3 course menu got no veg just chicken on a plate some staff gave a no care attitude
When we complained for the 2nd time we were upgraded to a bigger room. From a double to a suite. The breakfast and dinner were up to standard and very nice. The movie selection was good.
1. First room smelt of cigarettes 2. Second room no view, the movies were not available and the phone had loose wires and did not work well at all. 3. Bed hard as rock and sneaky. 4. wifi Internet very poor and we were charged extra. 5. The main purpose of stay was to take advantage of Spa treatments as advertised on booking .com. The spa was booked a week ahead and could not fit us in. 6. The pool etc was nice but not for sole use of guests, had to work around visitors. 7.with the name of Hilton and 4 star we expected much better. 8. Rooms very tired and in need of redecoration.
Nice pool and jacuzzi but could do with more chairs \beds Good breakfast
Dated decor and bathroom, we had to walk literally through someone's wedding reception to get to our room.
excellent service by the staff.Every thing lived up to our expectations.
Attractive location Good facilities
No free WiFi in rooms
Having stayed here before we were looking forward to another great stay and true to form was. Great staff great food great facilities and a great night sleep.
Restaurant was good, evening meal serving reasonable choice of menu, good food at reasonable price if taking the standard choices, but let down by too many dishes being subject to over-priced supplements Table cloths would have been nice Noted that some rooms were to be refurbished
A supposed deluxe room, but in fact quite small and tired. Very uncomfortable bed, background noise in early hours of morning from some sort of motor or plant and interference on tv; kept changing channel haphazardly without input from remote. Bar and restaurant were a complete rip off for price of drinks and breakfast was more Holiday Inn than was expected from Hilton. Better service for additional tea or coffee top ups and additional choices of hot food, e.g. alternative eggs; boiled, poached, and perhaps porridge and fish being offered/shown on a menu.
Pool and steam room.
Hard beds Refurbishment work going on during stay. Bathroom was dirty on arrival.
Stag were very pleasant but building is in need of update. Felt 1970 retro. Pleasant hotel though
No real faults
Being evacuated on arrival, not being able to check in, waiting outside in the cold, being ushered to a room, given tea out of a flask, not being able to use lift, unable to flush toilet, no running water and smell of burning.....yes there was an electrical fire!!! day 2 was better.
Excellent choice for breakfast Lovely rooms Chilled out Swimming pool and Sauna etc Clean & tidy accommodation
Prices were ridiculous for drinks at the bar, by any hotel standard!! Couldn't book any treatments in the spa even though I tried to book in advance not many taxis in Tewkesbury. Random people shouldn't be allowed to walk through to the swimming pool with shoes on....dirty footprints....floor needed mopping
Location of hotel
We stayed in Room 127, directly above the kitchen. It was very noisy until after midnight.
We had to leave early in the morning and they prepared us a great breakfast in a box plus coffee which we really appreciated. All the staff were lovely. Very nice food at the bar. We booked early and got a very reasonable deal Didn't use the pool etc this time but have in the past and it was very nice, the spa beauty treatments are amazing
Room furnishings were all quite tired, scratched etc. Lots of noise from a party going on in another part of the hotel About 2am it sounded as though the people above were dragging all the furniture around the room The radiator in the room wasn't working so it was quite cold Bit of a cheek to leave a bottle of mineral water in the room and want you to pay £3 or £4 for it
paying for wifi !!! Only 12 TV channels....even freeview has more
a good hotel and a nice overnight stay we will go back for a longer stay next time Mr & Mrs Bullough from Fleetwood
Ambiance, facilities, location
Too Pricy for food/drinks Car parking spaces too small
My room was very comfortable and the hotel were very helpful with my requests.
There was a wedding at the hotel and the music was very loud. As i am a very light sleeper i do always have ear plugs with me so it was fine when i went to sleep, but when i was up i could hear it over my TV
cracks in sink and bath could do with a little more parking
