The breakfast We requested to dine on Sat eve & were told by the maitre d that there was no availability till 8.30; over an hours wait. We were surprised as the restaurant was not busy. We opted to book elsewhere as recommended by a fellow guest & ordered a taxi. Just before our taxi came the maitre d came over & said a table was ready if we liked but obviously we'd had a better offer. We noticed there had been lots of empty tables for 2 that could have quite easily accommodated us during this time. I think the staff were quite 'stuffy' & this hotel was very over priced for the services & products they offer. I'm done with Hilton's.

We loved the Hilton Puckerup Hall as it was ideally suited for our age group & provided everything we needed under one roof. The best of Puckerup Hall was our beautiful romantic deluxe room with "Romeo & Juliet Balcony" overlooking the stunning golf course. Our honeymoon was bliss with all the pampering available with the espa & Living Well leisure centre & gym onsite!

The surroundings were peaceful and the room was comfortable. I thought the car park was a little too close to the course and that cars are in danger of damage from golf balls. We were "upgraded" for £10 extra, we thought this was really only for the water, 1/4 bottle of red wine and two apples that were in the room.

Hotel succesfully combined the feel of an old country house with modern contemporary furnishing and decor. Rooms were spaciious and well equipped. Extremely pleased with facilities and breakfast was very good. Drinks and snacks were a little expensive but over all extremely pleased with stay. Good Value for money.

Convenient stop over near motorway. Reasonable menu and decent quality food. Jaded decor and furniture in the room and a dirty bath.

Breakfast staff need a little injection of personality; they should not just assume every guest would like to have orange juice and pour it out as you sit down. There were other drink options available at the buffet bar. The hotel needs to review or get a new toast maker; it barely works or it incinerates the toast if you put it through twice ! £15 a night to use wifi connection is excessive, others offer it for free.

The golf is great. Make sure you book your tee time when you book the hotel as it can be really busy. The pool was busy in the morning and early afternoon but great about 5pm. A taxis to the pub is great. Big hotel with plenty of space . Great outdoor area to sit and watch the world go by.

The proximity to the motorway network. We had a family wedding that was entirely at the hotel and from my point of view was excellently provided for in terms of hotel facilities. The breakfast was very good. The room we stayed in (I had booked 2 separate rooms ) was dark and overlooked the bins/ pallets from restaurant. The other room with single beds overlooked the gym and golf course, this room was slightly larger and was better lit.The rooms wooden furniture was looking chipped and for a Hilton hotel we perhaps expected better. It's only a small point but 1 shortbread and no hot chocolate sachets could have been better. Breakfast. The staff. Comfortable bed

the swimming pool the decor in some of the public areas in particular the stairwell, really tasteless and hideous, would be far nicer, more stylish, and probably cheaper to do it far more plainly.would like the option to be able to open the windows more widely in the rooms

This is a very good hotel and periodically does excellent value offers. Staff are genuinely helpful and charming, rooms first class and the food is excellent and considering the quality reasonably priced. Well worth a stopover if you are travelling down the m5 (5 minutes away)
