This Victorian manor house has an indoor pool, a gym and a spa. Just 5 minutes from the M5, the Tewkesbury Park Hotel has 2 tennis courts and an 18-hole golf course.

Dating back to the 16th century, Tudor House Hotel is on the edge of historic Tewkesbury, overlooking the Avon River. The magnificent building has a real ale bar and traditional restaurant.
Score from 566 reviews Very good

Score from 118 reviews Excellent
Excellent choice for breakfast Lovely rooms Chilled out Swimming pool and Sauna etc Clean & tidy accommodation
Prices were ridiculous for drinks at the bar, by any hotel standard!! Couldn't book any treatments in the spa even though I tried to book in advance not many taxis in Tewkesbury. Random people shouldn't be allowed to walk through to the swimming pool with shoes on....dirty footprints....floor needed mopping
Location of hotel
We stayed in Room 127, directly above the kitchen. It was very noisy until after midnight.
We had to leave early in the morning and they prepared us a great breakfast in a box plus coffee which we really appreciated. All the staff were lovely. Very nice food at the bar. We booked early and got a very reasonable deal Didn't use the pool etc this time but have in the past and it was very nice, the spa beauty treatments are amazing
Room furnishings were all quite tired, scratched etc. Lots of noise from a party going on in another part of the hotel About 2am it sounded as though the people above were dragging all the furniture around the room The radiator in the room wasn't working so it was quite cold Bit of a cheek to leave a bottle of mineral water in the room and want you to pay £3 or £4 for it
paying for wifi !!! Only 12 TV channels....even freeview has more
a good hotel and a nice overnight stay we will go back for a longer stay next time Mr & Mrs Bullough from Fleetwood
Ambiance, facilities, location
Too Pricy for food/drinks Car parking spaces too small
My room was very comfortable and the hotel were very helpful with my requests.
There was a wedding at the hotel and the music was very loud. As i am a very light sleeper i do always have ear plugs with me so it was fine when i went to sleep, but when i was up i could hear it over my TV
cracks in sink and bath could do with a little more parking
Location, Environment, facilities
ROOM SIZE VIEW FROM WINDOW FRIENDLY STAFF ROOM FACILITIES COMFORTABLE BED LOCATION GROUNDS
CAR PARK DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE ADEQUATE WHEN HOTEL IS BUSY.
I loved everything about this hotel - location, facilities food - everything. Keep doing it!
Good location Clean
Dated No air conditioning Difficulty getting a phone signal Free WIFI only available in the public areas
Very helpful and friendly staff and most attentive.
Hard bed no give in it what so ever! Asked for a topper but it never appeared. Needed bathrobes.
Location of room by generator which made a noise all night Bed had seen better days Room hot and cramped Breakfast limited - no jams or spreads offered or hidden not sure which Expected better as hotel so far out from Tewekesbury
Everything was generally good. Location, service, staff, facilities, food etc.
Our deluxe double room in the manor house didn't have a garden view as described as it was completely obscured by the roof of an adjoining building (though it was still light and spacious. We were offered an alternative room by staff which had a limited view but we didn't take it as the room wasn't as nice as the original.
We were unable to keep our bookings as my husband was unexpectantly hospitalize and still is. So the planned visit with our son and grandson over from Australia on a family visit, never happened.
It all looked good or we wouldn't have booked
Lovely hotel surrounded by beautiful countryside. Peacefully quiet but very close to motorways so very easy to access. Food was excellent and the staff were exceptionally helpful. We had a lovely large room overlooking the golf course.
I can honestly say there was nothing we disliked about this hotel.
The Staff were great, friendly and cheerful. The breakfast fab. The Swimming was small, but you could do a few laps, if you wasn't hindered by people not swimming, but talking in the centre of the pool. Why they can't talk at the side of the pool is beyond me. Selfish ignorance comes to mind. The public areas are lovely and comfortable.
The bedroom my husband and I occupied was nothing special and frankly disappointing for a Hilton Hotel. There was only one comfortable chair, the bed was like sleeping on a brick, which is not good if you suffer from a bad back, the pillows disappeared to nothing and the view from the window was like building site, with business size waste bins. It's a shame we looked for to staying at this hotel, with a view of returning. However you want comfort and I'm afraid this was sadly lacking in the room we stayed in.
Breakfast was very good
Lack of choice on Dinner Menu and Waitress not informative enough
Fantastic staff, always very helpful. Brilliant that the kids ate free!!!!
Only small criticism was the Balharries restaurant was very slow at dinner time.
Poor internet facilities. When given a complimentary hour it was still intermittent. Parking was poor, made in attempt to make sure that one car parked in only one space. Restauranteurs parked poorly making residents walk long distances... Reception talked loudly about personal life across the area ans seemed uninterested in my concerns.
The price was quite high but the hotel is perfectly comfortable.
The hotel was set in beautiful surroundings was clean in the main areas and the food was beautiful. Staff friendly and polite.
The chambermaid did not make the bed and I had to tell her about stained towels in the bathroom.
Wonderful location , great staff, clean, comfy , planning another visit soon
Not stopping longer Breakfast not very hot from the self service
Spacious hotel overlooking beautiful gardens and golf course
Thought room was expensive particularly as it did not include breakfast. (booked day before arrival and cost £89, other family members that booked earlier paid £59 for same room including breakfast!) Was also disappointed that cost of breakfast, when not included in room rate was £16!
