Popular Hotels in Tewkesbury
Dating back to the 16th century, Tudor House Hotel is on the edge of historic Tewkesbury, overlooking the Avon River. The magnificent building has a real ale bar and traditional restaurant.
Score from 504 reviews Very good
This Victorian manor house has an indoor pool, a gym and a spa. Just 5 minutes from the M5, the Tewkesbury Park Hotel has 2 tennis courts and an 18-hole golf course.
Score from 210 reviews Good
Situated in Tewkesbury, close to the magnificent abbey, this 18th-century townhouse offers individually designed rooms, free Wi-Fi and free parking for 5 cars.
Score from 78 reviews Exceptional
With superb local food and an 18th century oak bar, The Malvern Hills Hotel is located in the heart of an area of outstanding natural beauty. The hotel is close to the Iron Age hill fort, British...
Score from 265 reviews Excellent
Lovely hotel surrounded by beautiful countryside. Peacefully quiet but very close to motorways so very easy to access. Food was excellent and the staff were exceptionally helpful. We had a lovely large room overlooking the golf course.
I can honestly say there was nothing we disliked about this hotel.
Breakfast was very good
Lack of choice on Dinner Menu and Waitress not informative enough
Fantastic staff, always very helpful. Brilliant that the kids ate free!!!!
Only small criticism was the Balharries restaurant was very slow at dinner time.
Poor internet facilities. When given a complimentary hour it was still intermittent. Parking was poor, made in attempt to make sure that one car parked in only one space. Restauranteurs parked poorly making residents walk long distances... Reception talked loudly about personal life across the area ans seemed uninterested in my concerns.
The price was quite high but the hotel is perfectly comfortable.
The hotel was set in beautiful surroundings was clean in the main areas and the food was beautiful. Staff friendly and polite.
The chambermaid did not make the bed and I had to tell her about stained towels in the bathroom.
Wonderful location , great staff, clean, comfy , planning another visit soon
Not stopping longer Breakfast not very hot from the self service
The restaurant is particularly good with good quality food and good service.
The doors in the bedrooms are heavy which results in quite a bit noise by other guests in the evening.
Peace and quiet of the lovely location and very efficient and friendly staff. Food and service at Dinner and Breakfast very good
A surprising location for a Hilton hotel, but very accommodating and comfortable. Good bar area, gym and swimming pool also. Breakfast was excellent.
Clean very comfortable hotel Good Staff apart from our experience with restaurant food. Ideal base from which to visit Cotswolds very pleasant visit to the area very nice people
Food expensive in Lounge Dining room food could barley be described as good and not value for money compared to excellent Restaurants in Tewkesbury
Nice hotel. Clean, fresh rooms. Spa facilities great, and beds were very comfy. Easy to get to from motorway. All in all, good value.
No 3G whatsoever anywhere. Not a single bar of reception at all to check your email. Wifi is available in the bar area etc but if you want to use your phone in the room - you have to pay. Only a little gripe
excellent location freindly staff nice terrace area
a bit noisy at night
Ok for a business trip if you play golf
Mattresses were obviously very old and were hard and uncomfortable. We tried several rooms and all were the same. Rooms were not clean and were dusty
Pool. Food was OK.
Room was as far away from the lift and stairs as it could be. Room boring décor and bedding. Wash hand basin had huge crack in it. Room overlooked back car - not a nice view. Glass of wine was £9! Pricey - £99 for bed and breakfast for one person.
It would score 9 out of 10 Shame about the noise from the kitchen
Noise from the kitchen went on until 12pm despite two telephone calls and one trip to reception. Woke my 6 year old up Manager tried her best but it had little effect I was in room 127 above the kitchen
Staff were excellent
Busy resturant in the evening food sent back cold, a number of guest complained
Helpful chatty smiling staff!
Lack of wi fi facilities in the room, with no access possible during the morning of our stay even in the lobby/lounge. Even Premier Inns provide this for free! Carpets in need of securing where they have worn and stitching has come adrift in the corridors at regular points along the corridor - trip hazard.
Good breakfast (apart from soggy black pudding)
Refurbishment required (wooden furnitures falling apart and smelly carpet) Poor WIFI range Option to pay in sterling with overseas credit card - rate close to Wonga
It was all super there was nothing to dislike
very clean rooms good service through out friendly polite staff.
room wasn't ready on arrival at 5.30pm waited long time in restaurant for meal.was given complementry coffee for inconvenience. also two vouchers for drinks at bar. For having to wait for our room.
The room (113) was excellent, overlooking the 18th green and patio. Weather was brilliant so the small veranda came in useful.
Need to sort the car park out. Bay markings would be an advantage.
We liked its setting/surroundings, leisure facilities and standard of hotel rooms, bar and restaurant. Tewkesbury is a lovely town in a beautiful part of the country.
The bar prices meant that we were unlikely to stay on site, especially with such a lovely selection of great pubs and restaurants in Tewkesbury. Paying for taxis to go elsewhere was the cheaper option, though taxis were in short supply, so pre-booking is recommended.
The location The restaurant
The room The beds The Wi-Fi
Comfortable room, the food was good, the breakfast was excellent, good quality ingredients
Cost of in room wifi and water... It was a bit impersonal and when I arrived at reception I was ignored by the young woman behind the counter
