Position of Hotel and friendly staff who were very co-operative
Staff tried to help
Dirty cold no hot water
Good atmosphere, very comfortable beds, helpful staff! Fantastic sea views!
Single rooms are a bit on the small side, showers are a tight fit with hot water taking a good 5 minutes to arrive!
Location was good although parking could have been a problem and you had to pay.
Hotel more than half empty yet our view was overlooking the bins. Squashed on to a tiny table for meals. Whilst having a drink in the bar we had to endure a lengthy discussion between owner & contractors regarding pay or lack of which began before dinner and continued after. We then discovered that having paid £237 half board for 3 nights other guests had in fact only paid £99 for exactly the same stay. In future we will book direct as it was so much more to book via booking.com and our stay was very over priced and turned out to be a bit if a disappointment. Room could do with a deep clean and shower had a lot of black mildew in the grouting.
Well the food was hot and served at are table and the staff where good. But when the coach load left the food standard dropped the breakfast was cold and no entertainment in the evening
well the room was ok but the windows had no locks on them so they could have been opened from the out side easly and the loo did not flush properly and on boxing day evening we had to change rooms because the rain was plashing into the room and mad the carpet wet around the window. It needs a lot of work on it to get it no wounder it is only a two star.
We had a horrible time at this hotel n were insulted by a member of staff. I complained to manager. Our room was bad. Had single n massive bigger than kingsize bed which filled the room n we had to keep going round it to do anything. Food was v poor esp Xmas meal n buffet breakfast cold. Had to get lift to ground then walk full length of hotel to get lift to dining room. Then do same going to our room. Entertainment was v poor too .Our stay was horrendous n definitely won't b going there again!!!!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Location good. Breakfast good. Central heating good. Cheap.
Stairs and passages creaky. All carpets old and dirty. 'En suite' appalling, separate toilet with no hand-washing facility. Separate shower 'room' (actually a converted cupboard) small, tiny basin, difficult to use. Use of the name "Hilton" deceptive and wrong.
Convenience to venue
No blankets in one of the rooms that heating wasn't working in
Good size single room with good size en suite. Booked an extra night half hour before booking out was due as I fancied an extra day to relax .helpful receptionists.
More shower gel!!!
Breakfast, bar staff,
Trouble with door lock, room tiny, when the girl on reception had to deal with the lock, it was almost like she didn't believe it was broken. we would not stay at the Hilton again, better hotels in Eastbourne.
Room cramped place is a little tired.
price friendly staff great shower room clean and tidy
bed was not great for comfort everything creaked as walking around room heard every single person going up and down stairs
The lady staff member Was brilliant and I think was manger was good due to confusion over booking.
The menu was only Indian food and with young children they had no food suitable apart from chips the rooms did not reflect the photos. shower run cold. Very dated in decoration. Looked dirty. No lift to breakfast room .. They didn't have a door to inter linking room
welcoming and good value
Breakfast not included
The heating was broken so the room was freezing. Got a really bad cold because of that which took two weeks to recover from.
The price was fab and the bed was comfortable
If we had paid anymore and were staying for more then one night we would have issues, the fan in the bathroom made a ridiculous noise like a bird screaming, we reported it to reception but nothing was done. The shower Curtin did not reach the floor or the sides so the bathroom floor was like a river
Rooms in a poor state. Rooms and in need of decorating. Holes in wall. Cold shower.
Staff were helpful and friendly Room was clean and loads of hot water to shower. Bed was very comfortable with good clean linen
Décor was poorly done but clean Free parking is non existent Room was tiny but adequate Breakfast room claustrophobic Bar open all day was shut Room carpet stained
Unhung door jammed in arcatrave two big tool boxes left in room with power tools.no hot water whst so ever .on Sunday morning at 7.45 bang on door told to go away and they let themselves in while ee erre in bed it was 2builders wantind yhe tools snd door. Whrn I complained just not intrtested .very unhappy customer :(
price and location £39 for a twin room... Seafront location, what isn't there to like
Location and bed :)
when I had "Do not disturb" on my door maid service is open the door without saying sorry and without knock the door! Too small bathroom
Bed was comfy and price was reasonable
The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. I booked a single room with a bathroom and although the room was rather small, it was what I needed - a very reasonably priced warm and comfortable room to sleep in.
There was no hairdryer in the room and on the Saturday of my weekend stay the staff did not have access to the hotel safe to enable me to purchase a parking ticket for the sea front, so I had to pay the full price at the meter. I was not able to get a parking space close to the hotel on the Saturday evening when we returned from our conference and ended up having to park about ten minutes' walk away.

No Parking except on local roads
Old style lift, for 3 small people, with self folding doors. Creaked all the way up and down. This 2 day stay was certainly one to look back upon as an experience.
Cold water tap not working for 2 day stay. No TV for 2 days as no connecting leads to freeview box or aerial. Both problems reported, neither were fixed. Manager only offered 10% discount and sea-view for next stay. Parking very difficult, 10 minute walk back to hotel from a side street. WiFi only available in reception.
