Although it was a little further away from the hussle and bussle it was still on the seafront and I was able to get to the places I wanted to with a quick walk. The staff were friendly, room was cleaned for my 2nd day. Good tea making facilities and TV made it a good room to relax in. As it was a smallish room, having the toilet separate from the shower and sink was preferable. It was quiet and quite an attractive looking building. It was the most affordable room I could find at quite short notice and I was not expecting too much but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of accomodation and service that I recieved
I had a room at the back, so not a great view. I didn't mind that so much as I was out a lot of the time but there was a lot of bird poo on the window which was very noticable. Apart from that as I was only there for a short time there wasn't anything negative that experienced.
Friendly Staff and good restaurant facilities.
No television control when we arrived. Stairs to restaurant difficult!
Great location, helpful staff good facilities
Nothing to find fault with
Polite staff and a nice place to go Will be going back again
That you dident have wi fi in all rooms it would be easier to watch films on your computer. Or iPad
The bedroom, the cleanliness, marks and stains on the walls, the noise that kept me awake all night, outdated furniture
Bedroom needed updating especially the shower facilities
Enjoyed the cooked breakfast. Excellent sea views.
Nice staff . Quiet and pleasant .
Noisy pipes / fans . Bad view of building works .
Breakfast was okay
The windows in the room was letting in the wind so the room was cold all day and night as the heating was not on at all
Went to the hilton on saturday. Very clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.
All I would recommend is getting new mattresses and not use 2 single beds to make a king bed.
noisy run down
location to the sea and public transport
continental breakfast should consist of more then toast no tv in the first room only one plug socket on floor to use kettle shabby room next room was not much better tap to sink broken
Tatty bedroom, filthy shower shower head needs cleaning.windows need draught proofing.carpets a disgrace, when you empty the basin water ends up in shower tray,tv a complete joke.
Plenty of storage space. Staff very helpful Tea and coffee facilities in bedroom
Beds were very hard. Room a little crammed if staying longer than one night.
No internet in the room
Sea view Cleanliness
Shower( to small) Full length window in the bathroom( only half of it frosted)
Staff friendly.location good.
Only that our TV in our room was not working
Only staying the one night and it was really only a base the very small room was bare able and I find it hard to complain when this only cost £39 .
Staff were very nice. Comfortable rooms Good breakfast.
Smell from shower when taps were turned on.
Cleanliness (curtains, carpet, spiders, webs in the shower)
The barman was happy to deal with us.he had a good knowledge of his products and was happy to find out customers opinions.
There was not a lot of information about the hotel or things going on in & around the hotel. The window latch was broken it was a simple job that could be mended easily. The shower was really basic and needed up dating.
Sea view rooms
Beds were a bit too hard for me
Most staff very attentive and helpful Bed linen clean and fresh, good quality towells Food pretty good
This hotel not suitable for elderly people due to too many stairs, shocking lifts, insufficient toilets in public areas, uneven, sloping floors and raised thresholds posed a tripping hazard Bathrooms really bad, need completely renovating Surly duty manager who couldn't even be bothered to make us a cup of tea Misleading advertising depicts dining area overlooking the sea when in fact it is in a dingy basement smelling of mildew
The staff were very efficient & friendly; I asked for an iron & ironing board & the manager delivered it in 5 minutes. The bed and bathroom were very clean. The breakfast was good.
The carpet in my room was stained A sash cord on the window was broken so I had to jam it open. The washbasin tap was loose & swung around Noisy drainpipes kept me awake.
