Score from 296 reviews Good
Good value for money and right on seafront and within easy reach of town.
Cant complain about anything as were happy with service and room etc.
Not one thing
The hole thing
Close to the beach
Dusty. Needs a good overall. No wifi. Overpriced.
There were worms in the carpet which is something not very pleasant to find...
Near where we wanted to be.
Room we was in was small and far to hot even with radiater turned off and small window open.
Large bed. Price.
Room not serviced. Request for extra tea/milk not met. Curtains falling down. Poor ensuite. Stairs on auto lights which didn't always work so very dark. Stair carpets filthy, stair walls grubby, did not want to touch handrail. Lift out of order. Breakfast in dark basement. Drinks machine not pots of tea/coffee. All condiments prepackaged. Breakfast precooked and not to order. Advertised parking nearby which was not strictly true and is why we had booked this hotel on the first place.
The lift was out of order and we couldn't manage to get to our third floor room with our cases. The ground floor room we where moved to was unclean and noisy. No refund could be given because we booked through booking.com
Shower was bad almost a trickle.wash basin in toilet very small and when you bent down you had to be very careful not to hit your face.
The bed was very hard. Carpet in the room looked ancient.
Position lovely views Friendly staff
Bedroom small and ensuite very cramped
The hotel is in a good location right on the sea front. The room was clean and what we were expecting. We visited in november but the room was lovely and warm.
The restaurant does not cater for children and they have too many tables so it felt like we were sitting on top of the group next to us which made my daughter feel uncomfortable. The room decor is very dated but comfortable. The only thing that baffled us was the hand basin is tiny to the point where you could only just get two hands in it and we had to use a glass to fill up the kettle as it wouldnt fit. We also couldnt get the hot water to get any hotter than luke warm. But to be fair as we only stayed one night we didnt bother complaining.
Location is good and staff was pleasant
Very basic and bare bones. On par with a low budget 2 star
Staff very friendly and helpful. Good entertainment and food. Would definitely book again as lovely few days.
Breakfast was excellent
Liked everything about our stay
Stayed for 2 nights, NO HOT WATER AT ALL, called reception and they refused to help. Then the next night the roof started leaking into our bed and yet again reception refused to help or move us, then we complained to booking.com and the hotel are denying any knowledge of the events. Paid £96 for the worst experience in a hotel in my life. Fuming will never ever come back to the hotel again.
Location is great being right on Eastbourne sea front, Room was what I expected for £41.00 with no frills. nice to have tea and coffee making facilities.
Shower room / toilet facilities were tiny and flimsy sliding door did little for privacy. could do with a makeover but at the price we paid was not too bad.
clean tidy room, nice breakfast, great view of the sea
difficulty in parking, décor a bit dated
Location, price, reception team
Staff were nice its not their fault about the hotel we genuinely thought the staff where lovely and they had cleaned the very poor facilities very well. Tea and coffee in rooms I don
Ramshackle rooms, looked worse than student accommodation, hallway stank of sick and there where bleach stains on the carpets. Did not like the fact that we were conned into thinking we had booked into Brighton, did not know this till we actually turned up to Hilton in Brighton who told us this was not the first time this had happened. Its all a big con, worse hotel I have ever stayed in the shower just about had water coming out and we had two single beds instead of a double. Very disappointing .
Nice sea view.
Rubbish on the landings, vomit stains on the staircase carpets, damp smell and broken window in bedroom.
Lovely Breakfast. Far enough away from town to miss the noise but close enough for short walk
Room very small and cramped
The lovely attitude of restaurant staff The lift to my room The cleaner who showed me the quickest way to my room Generally friendly atmosphere
I was disappointed at the distance from the railway station and was not too happy as I was given to understand the hotel was nearer The receptionists on my arrival did not have clear information about buses etc These were not major though
