A good stay
the food was brilliant
my sister slept on a camp bed after being told previously when booking that three single beds would be available. we were all woken at 4.30am by staff waking the next room for their flight .
Clean & comfy. Good breakfast
The shower was clean. Food was nice
Felt we were not important as we were not American or sailing on the maiden voyage. Was overcharged when booking out and a automatic charge for an unknown charity was put on the bill. In the restaurant ignored through out the meal.
Evening meal not so good especially the first night. Not very good value for money.
lovely room, large, breakfast was lovely and your staff were so helpful and kind
could not empty the sink, could not work out how to make the plug come up, housekeeping could not help either and told me just to leave, I was happy with this, but felt a bit embarrassed as had a chocolate and washed the spoon so it looked not nice
Lots of comfortable areas to sit and relax. Great breakfast and of course polite friendly staff.
Checkin was quick and efficient staff very helpful. We booked dinner there was a menu that should have something for everyone and was good value. We also used the gym which is small but has all the equipment you need
No complaints or concerns
Breakfast was excellent.
Evening meal could have been better. Fish was all batter and very little fish. Parking - there wasn't a space available on Sat night!!
Poor parking especially when a function was on. Went out for evening to come back and find no spaces available!
Lots comfy areas to relax and chill out
We were issued our room key and entered the room and it was still occupied!! a little awkward and embarrassing. The staff weren't overly bothered by our awkward incident??
Bar area is inviting and cheerful staff are efficient Costa coffee
Rooms are shabby and seemingly thrown together. Curtains in room 402 hanging off wardrobe old as were bathroom fittings. Waiting for b/fast poor choice of breads and spreads.
the staff we encountered were well mannered and professional.
Paying too much for a room on a par with Premier Inn. No value added. Yet even at this price you pay to park. Bloody cheek ! Had to have the stained bedding replaced
convenient location for several venues around Southampton with ample parking. Very good breakfast.
The hotel had a wedding function going on, so the car park was jam packed. The restaurant was closed, and our only option (because we didn't want to leave our car space) was to order room service - it took ages to arrive, and they charged for the food delivery. The wedding guests made sleep difficult as they were continually slamming doors.
The restaurant staff is exellent
the bed was very bad and we order double and gave us two single
Room very hot and no means of ventilation
the signs to the hotel from the motorway and from the town centre show that you need to turn off at the junction after the petrol station - you don't - you turn at the petrol station - if the signs could be redone to reflect this I would give my stay 10/10 rather than 9/10
The person who took our details for breakfast, was funny thoughtful and proffesional- a credit to the chain.
Staff were pleasant but totally over-run by the amount of guests. There was a wedding party and a cruise holiday, the hotel could not cope... Be it at the bar, or the wait to get to the lift. The heating seemed to be on furnace the entire stay, which made the stay uncomfy, there must be a medium setting! Oh and they gave me the wrong room, when I pointed it out the answer was "we are fully booked so I can't help". Staff were nice but an uphill battle with all the other things going on, I would not return.
Room service and choices in menu Staff were excellent
Breakfast, bacon undercooked, poor quality sausages and a tiny pot of tea.
Nice ambience and a good breakfast
Mattresses in my room(206) were old and sagged in the middle
Attentive friendly staff. The choice at breakfast was fantastic.
We booked a twin room with an extra bed. The fold down bed was very uncomfortable. We also had to ask for an extra towel, toiletries, teacup and glass as the room was only set up for two.
