I liked the way that all staff were polite and friendly but professional. On arrival my husband was told that there was no record of our booking. This caused to worry on what was supposed to be a weekend away to de-stress! |

Initially was unable to find our booking on arrival but the documentation that I had confirming or booking enabled use to get our room. |

I found the breakfast very injoyable, with plenty of choice, and the staff was very prompt and very helpfull. We found the bed didn't have very much spring, and it seemed to creek (springs) when we moved, and also the tap driped so we had to put a towel int he sink so we couldn't hear it. |

the price The front desk staff is horrible...they don't answer the phone when they are too busy, my wife was unable to reach me for over three hours. Room service was terrible, no wifi access in rooms, the toilets can only be flushed every 20 minutes. |

The location The quality of the evening meal was terrible. The food was not cooked properly either. They brought the wrong wine as well. The breakfast was very expensive 37 sterling for two people per day because this was extra. The window in the room was not shutting properly and noise from the road was coming in. There was a charge of 3 sterling for car parking as well. Wifi facility very expensive. |

Good location and a good breakfast The rooms were poorly maintained: 1) My Mother-in-Laws' bathroom toilet would not flush, which was particularly frustrating for her as she has a medical condition and is disabled 2) There were not enough disabled car parking spaces 3) My bathroom had a serious leak from the ceiling which dripped on my head while I was shaving. I informed the desk before breakfast and in the space of half an hour, the ceiling was ready for collapsing! 4) The hotel manager didn't know how to make Irish Coffees'. |

Leisure facilities are very good, only comment it would be useful to have a dryer in the changing rooms for swimming costumes, had to take wet clothes on last day. Room was very good, no problem getting more pillows. Only comment was - twin beds - one did not have mattress cover so could feel mattress buttons through the thin sheets. Also on Sunday morning, many more guests and restaurant staff not able to cope - tables not set correctly nor cleared. |

We were really impressed by the efficiency and friendliness of the staff, particularly at reception. Finding it was really difficult, the sat nav found the postcode on the hard shoulder of the motorway! |
