Refurbished room was very good. First room had a noisy broken air con unit necessitating a move. The restaurant on the Saturday was poorly run by short staff. The cleanliness of the restaurant was terrible with waiters brushing food on to the wall paper and dripping on to the floor where it was left over the weekend in some cases.

Helpful friendly staff Only restricted range buffet evening meal available as kitchens were being refurbished. Should we have been advised of this when purchasing or shortly before arrival date? Had planned to entertain family at hotel.

Staff here were very friendly and helpful and made the stay an excellent one! Great facilities , loved the Spa and the grounds to walk in were lovely. Excellent location to get around. One small quibble was the older room we stayed in which had lovely features but a few small details let it down. The gap in the window frame meant hey had an ugly electric heater in there (and a draft) and the wardrobe doors would not shut. Such minor things to finsh off and lovely room.

Paying top prices, one wouldn't expect hotel to run out of baked beans at 9.30 when breakfast finished at 10, it may seem trivial but I would not stay there again!

The gentleman on the reception desk when we arrived was extremely helpful considering he had no record of our reservation and the hotel was busy with a wedding and people staying for the Easter weekend No record of our reservation when we arrived No record of dinner reservation although it had been booked from the front desk Dinner was a buffet - presumably due to the wedding - poor quality food. The dining room seemed unable to cope with the number of guests wanting breakfast on Sunday morning

We just loved it - beautiful chillax place. Can't wait to return The family next door who put their tv on full blast at 6.45 on Sunday morning! But you can't be accountable for thoughtless guests!

The staff were very friendly an helpfull. The big damp patch on the walls in my room, a bit disappointing, I was thinking the Hilton was going to be a luxury stay, the rest of the hotel was lovely, just the decor/damp wall in my room Was a let down on the whole experience, even the cheap holiday in don't have damp walls.

Convenient - easy to get to and close to the office Good facilities (apart from the selection of tv channels - would be good to have all the freeview ones on there!) Really comfy beds and good shower Choice of tv channels weren't great food was quite expensive - especially when you're just having room service on your own (I paid £18 for a salad!)

The Hilton St Annes Manor is in a beautiful area with a wonderful setting. Quite and peaceful, with beautiful walks yet not to far from shops and resturants. Coming from South Africa we did find the prices for the meals a bit on the expensive side. Also would have like to have found out a bit of the history of the Manor, but the staff I asked were not able to tell us much.

Excellent customer service. Swimming pool too cold and kids under 6 not allowed in jacuzzi. This was a major problem for us as they got really cold in the swimming pool and we had no way of warming them up as there was no bath in our family room (just a shower). If you're travelling with young children, make sure you request a room with a proper bath. Also, there were people in the adjoining room on one of the nights and we could hear every word of their conversation (and they could probably hear our noisy kids). If they give you a room with an adjoining door, ask them not to put anyone in the other room. We didn't find out that our rate included breakfast until the last day - what a waste as it was an excellent buffet! The adventure playground is closed in winter, which was a shame as it was one of the reasons we had booked the hotel. The staff dealt with all issues effectively and sympathetically, so we will probably return despite this not having been the best stay.
