The Staff were excellent particularly the lady on Reception when I checked in.

The 1st impressions ie reception is gr8 our room wasnt a std it was superking and we enjoyed the freebies that came with it lovely breakfast too spa option nice added bonus

in the bathroom i noticed areas that werent spotlessly clean - but i am fussy - i didnt get much sleep as the pipes in the room were very loud throughout the night

Superb breakfast

Good location for stopover en route to Cornwall, large bed and competitive price including nice 1/2 bottle of wine!

Restaurant menu was boring & didn't inspire us to eat-in so we went to the Beefeater, which was horrible! We would have eaten in the hotel had the menu been more varied and interesting.

Enjoyable stay, staff were efficient and friendly. One of the best Hilton breakfasts I have had, (and I am a Hilton Honors member, so stay at lots of Hiltons). Comfortable bed.

Paying for parking, otherwise happy

The location was good. The front line staff were polite and helpful.

The management were unhelpful and rude. Very poor disabled accommodation. Not ffor purpose. Cleanliness was poor. Sheets stained. Hotel rooms in need of upgrading. Reputation didn't reflect expectations. Should be down graded to 2 or 3 star. Disabled person expected to use shower in public area in leisure facilities. Room not cleaned or tea/coffee amenities not replenished.

Friendly, efficient staff, clean bedroom, pleasant dining room.

Tired Spa area, idle and unhelpful receptionist in Living Well Spa, murky-looking swimming pool, lack of cleaning/maintenance in this area.

Clean, well presented. Bath robes provided, the little touches make all the difference. Food was to a very high standard.

Breakfast wasn't served till later on Sunday after the clocks changed, would have been nice to have it available till 11.30 perhaps for those that needed the extra time in the morning.

No biscuits in room to nibble with coffee. Not enough milk Car park view! If staying for dinner, would prefer a more intimate dining room.

Lovely spacious comfortable room, only had breakfast but it was lovely, so much choice - good value for money, would definitely stay here again.

Beds very comfy and relaxing, the swimming pool facilities were lovely, staff friendliness and efficiency.

There was inconsiderate people on the same floor that were running up and down the corridor making noise and shouting until 4am. Due to this i managed to get no sleep.This is unacceptable and will not be staying in this hotel again, Guest should not have to pay for parking, regardless whether it is subsidised or not.

The room was really nice and so were the staff and really helpful. Food was great too, lovely presentation and tasted fab.

We didn't use the pool or jacuzzi as they weren't heated so a little disappointed, would have been nice to use the facilities.

The room was freezing cold so I complained and all I was told yes there is a issue with the heating, I am a hot person and I rarely feel the cold, however I was freezing. and it was freezing outside with snow on the ground. I also noticed the bath was not empting after a shower, so I lifted the plug and it was blocked with human hair, it was not mine because I do not have any!

The staff were great and excellent customer service. Room was also nice, and both room and bathroom were really clean, we had a normal double room and it was big with good quality matching furniture. Spa downstairs was nice to have but very basic , i have stayed at hotels with nicer ones but we enjoyed it never the less. Breakfast was nice, quite a lot of choice and the resturant had a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Tv remote stopped working, but as we only stayed for one night we didnt ask for batteries, im sure they would have sorted it if we had asked. No heating in the room, and it was really cold when we went so could have done with it. Wifi is expensive, and although parking is onsite you have to pay for it.

Pool

Room was not set up with kids beds even though I wrote down specifics on booking form of what I needed. Staff were doing room at 430pm. No slippers in the suite. Phone broken even though I reported to reception noone came to change it and I had to go to reception 3 x for room service which is not good with a 4 year old and 1 year old.

Reception lady was great.Room was very clean. Value voucher for dinner.food was great and kids ate for free. Would stay again. The reception staff are making this hotel, the cleaners are polite too. Thanks for a nice night.

Dinner staff are new. Got the voucher wrong so the wine I picked cost me an extra £20. Which means I would stay again but eat elsewhere.that's a shame because the food was great.

Expensive
