We stayed after a wedding reception(at the hotel). The staff were excellent, especially the restaurant manager, who oversaw the wedding and the breakfast. He must have had very little sleep! Food and service very good. Lovely to walk in the grounds or play golf if you prefer. Rooms are very spacious. We had a double but the family rooms were excellent. Not close to the city if that's what you want. The spa and pool looked good, although I didn't use the facilities.

The rooms were absolutely suffocating. We booked a Delux room which should have had a balcony, it had a bar across the window the height of a balcony bar and you could look over it. Broadband was £15 per day - maddness. We had to leave the hotel with a sick baby at 5 am - the porter and the guy at receptionist both just ignored us completely - they made no attempt what so ever to assist our quick departure, did not even offer to open a door for me as I was trying to carry a baby and pull a case. My husband had to get car and come back in and get us. Maddness.

We enjoyed the leisure facilities, the legendary Hilton breakfasts and also had a great meal in the restaurant. While the bed was comfortable, it creaked every time you turned over and this lead to a disturbed night's sleep.

Charged for everything. When you are paying an expensive amount for a stay, water bottles and free wi fi should be provided in your room and not get charged. I was really disappointed.

The twin room was very spacious. A spacious bathroom The only slight problem was with the beds-they were on wheels and moved about each time you turned in the bed. As for staff, they were very nice, only problem was when i asked for my coffee to come at the end of my breakfast- it didn't come at all!!!!!!!!!!!! The breakfast offered a great selection for all diets and tastes- Well Done!! The swimming pool was very open to passersby outside!!

The hotel was very clean with lovely staff. The breakfast was well served with lots to choose from. The location of the hotel suited us really well as we went to juntion one and Belfast for shopping We were very disapointed that the hotel didnt have a seprate jazzui. The pool water was very cold. We had dinner in the restaurent the first night and I had the duck and it was very tuff, we ate in the bar that was off the golf course and the food was lovely and the lads that served us was very pleasant and friendly. The room had no heating on in it the first night we arrived and the weather was very cold so we were not impressed with that.

Bed/matress was very creaky, shower rail bracket was broken, no separate shower, lighting poor in room (floor lamp was not working), restaurant very expensive and limited choice on menu (ordered the special - duck breast on corriander and coconut lentils which I found too spicy, was offered alternative and opted for Sirloin, was advised this was not avaiable and offered the ribeye instead, however I was then also charged the full menu price for the Ribeye which I thought should have been at least at the lower rate of the Sirloin). Wifi at additional cost and very expensive. Staff very courteous and rooms very clean - lovely pillows and bed linen.

The food was lovely. The staff were very helpful. Rooms were immaculate. Not a complaint, but the swimming pool had a sauna and steam room. A jacuzzi would have topped it off.

Friendly and helpful staff. The evening meal was very poor value for money and when it came to paying my bill I was overcharged by over £18 which I realised before we left the dining area and I was refunded, but very little apology for the mistake.

Clean rooms swift checking in-out process I asked reception staff-trainee if I remember correctly- if I could claim points/miles for loyalty program like lufthansa star alliance or Etihad airways. She didn't know what I was talking about, worth also mentioning that she would ask/enquire and get back to me, which clearly didn't happen. Very poor performance

“Staff were very helpful and nothing was any trouble to them. Rooms very comfortable and clean and suitable for family. Food at the hotel was highly recommended and reasonable price. Our trip was to go to the Celtic Games (athletics) We needed to store athletics equipment on the Saturday night before departing on Sunday morning - the staff were very accomodating and securely kept them in a room overnight - thanks to Martin. This is the 2nd time I have used this hotel within the past 2years - and staff have been marvellous on both occassions. Would defenitily use them again if the price was right. Thanks to all staff concerned very polite and warm welcome by all..” Carol, Llanelli |
