Clean and accommodating room. Breakfast was pleasant enjoyable with a huge selection of options. Staff were polite informative and friendly. An enjoyable stay had by my husband and I and would recommend to others.
Staff were great
Bed base creaked so complete lack of sleep. We were in room 250
The staff were very helpful & friendly & quick to rectify the problem we had with the room when we first arrived the 2nd room was perfect for our needs & the complimentry bathrobes & Water was welcome & unexpected. Good food & very comfortable Hotel we recommend it to our friends traveling to Warwickshire.
!st room was to small & right by the air conditioning units very noisy & much vibration.
The swimming pool, Sauna and steam-room facilities.
Small room, food quality,
The friendly and helpful staff were the best thing about this hotel.
Tired and in need if an update. Damp smelling and not very clean bathroom.
It was clean and the staff were friendly. Convenient for an overnight stop as only 2 minutes from the M40
Bed was too hard and the pillows too soft. We had a long drive and wanted to eat in the evening, When the food arrived it was luke warm and not very tasty. There was also a wedding on the evening that we stayed and there were lots of children let loose to run about as they liked. It wasn't what I was expecting from the Hilton brand.
wifi poor.... Gym "tiny".... food average & expensive......
Good location. Very close to both Warwick and Stratford. Good leisure facilities with a large pool. Large car parking available. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Very friendly housekeeping staff. Quite modern rooms with flat screen T.V. Buffet breakfast with a large selection available.
Very noisy. Wedding parties on both Friday and Saturday night. The Friday night lot were extremely rowdy. A lot of noise seemed to travel through to the room. We had noise going on till 3.00 am. This was ignored by the hotel staff. Nothing was very clean. The pillow cases were very stained and marked. One of the bath towels was marked. Gave the general feeling nothing was clean. Put me off using the swimming pool. Didn't trust it to be clean. The restaurant particularly was dirty. The place mats were stained and dirty and also the chairs were very marked and dirty. On the Saturday morning the restaurant manager and assistant manageress had words in the restaurant. The same assistant manageress had an attitude on the Sunday morning. On the Sunday morning the lifts were out of order and no help was offered with getting the luggage down from the second floor, or even an apology offered.
Self service breakfast was excellent food.
The distance of dinning room from bedroom with disabled mother too far to walk, use of a wheelchair in house would be helpful.
Tatty not up to usual standard for a hilton
The staff was welcoming and informative. The in-house Carvery meal was enjoyable. (We did not order breakfast) The bathroom and bedroom were clean and bedding very comfy. Checkout was quick and calculated correct.
The women's gym/pool changing area was a bit tired. In particular, the showers had stains where paint was poured out. The light from the clock in the bedroom was bright.
Location Staff Parking
Very tired hotel in dire need of bringing up to date. Rooms felt small Wifi
Great choice at breakfast and good value for money. Really clean and the staff were very helpful. The week-end was really enjoyable and all the family loved their time at the Hilton.
Location Good sleep - comfortable bed
Room small Poor quality TV picture Standard of cleanliness in dining area poor - too few staff Breakfast food kept too long under heaters - some items dried out Charged for bottled water supplied in room - no prior notification of charge - in other hotels this is invariably complimentary No biscuits to compliment room tea/coffee facilities Charge for car parking unreasonable
The location was great for Warwick Castle. Very welcoming and pleasant reception on arrival. They were very obliging and helpful with advice about where we could visit. My daughter and myself used the Gym and Pool every day. The staff were cheerful and friendly.
The Duty Manager on the Saturday evening was incompetent. He was unable to keep his colleague on reception informed of his wherabouts and unable to inform us or check to see if the water leak in the room above ours was affecting our room. We were getting wet, reception was not picking up our call, I had to go to reception in my pj's, she had no idea where the duty manager was but felt sure he would be dealing with the problem. We were not convinced so we got dressed, packed and waited in the bar, when I went back to our room I found the manager watching TV, he claimed that he could not be dealing with the problem and be in touch with reception or us at the same time, he was clearly more interested in what was on TV! There is a £5 tray charge for room service.
Nice and clean, plenty of wifi and connectivity.
The ground floor reception, bar and resturant was very clean and well presented, staff helpful and pool area is nice but not recommended during busy periods.
upon entering our room we was not really impressed - we expected the 'Hilton' standard not something that was so basic that it made premier in look upper class! Words of warning we had one plug socket to charge our phones so I suggest charge your phone at night if your parter will be using the hair dryer and straighteners during the day! And also there is a cheap resturant across the road called the porridge pot but do not go as the food is shocking.
We only stayed one night (on our way to London) but the hotel was excellent. The room was clean and quiet and we slept very well.
The breakfast was very good (apart from the fact that the "fresh" fruit, particularly the orange segments and peaches) were canned!
The room was clean and tidy with complimentary items.
The wi if is very poor and annoying
The staff were brilliant, check-in so friendly and efficient, and the restaurant staff were lovely too. The room, although slightly tired, was very comfortable and well equipped. Fab bathroom. Food was gorgeous...steak cooked to perfection and beautifully presented.
The only thing that could be improved would be to refurb some of the rooms, as although comfortable, have stayed at far better appointed Hilton hotels (due to age of the Hotel). Despite this, would recommend.
bar area and other areas of the hotel where lovely, comfortable and cosy, breakfast was beautiful and had a fabulous selection.
im a non smoker and badly asthmatic, i didnt realise as i had to be in and literally running out the door to be at an event we where attending in warwick which started just after check in, but it was on my return at 1pm in morn i realised i had been given a smoking room which i had never requested or had any mention of it on check in, there where others in our party who where the same, bit naughty i thought given i paid the same rate as everybody else...! people must be made aware of this in future, also was supposed to be refunded some monies back but didn't see any of it in my bank account....? plus breakfast in the morning was lovely but i had to continually ask staff for tea as my partner had been served before i arrived down, plus cutlery too, they could have been slightly more attentive i thought, also prices for drinks at the bar and the food where so expensive, was £15.00...! and a glass of wine £6 and thats a small one and over £4.00 for a standard pint....make sure you have plenty funds in your pocket before setting off here and you'll be needing plenty off it, big let down hilton...!
Very good value for money
Staff in restaurent could be more efficient service slow And confusing
The quality of the hotel and the feel of being in a place to relax away from the stress of every day life.
Heating control was near the door and too dark to see without a torch.
Breakfast was great, staff were warm and friendly. Swimming pool nice but small. Well located and easy to find. Quiet spot too with easy close parking.
Hotel is dark and oppressive and looks tired so didn't think it was overall worth the money. Couldn't believe the price of a glass of wine @ £12.20! That's Claridges price !
