This good-value, modern hotel in Hemel Hempstead has air-conditioned bedrooms, a licensed bar and an on-site restaurant.
Score from 311 reviews Fabulous
Efficient service and staff. Location of hotel to attraction (HP world) prefect.
Uncomfortable put up bed for children, pool was permanently closed between booking and arriving and not informed. Room was too hot and only way to cool it down was to open the window which was then too noisy at night.
The Hotel layout and parking and restaurant.
The bedroom was so plain, as well as the bathroom. Could have had a bit more paintings and bed linen could have had more like cushions for more comfort. Location isn't very good.
Reasonably close to Harry potter attraction
Bed was quite squeaky
Close to the hospitial
Booked a more exspensive room but looked like a standard double not worth the extra money room was to hot bed was hard no fan in the room meals small and exspensive
Room and breakfast
Should update website showing no pool
The lounge/bar areas are comfortable and relaxing places to sit
The food for breakfast should be kept hotter and the plates warmer at point of delivery
Great location and really friendly staff! The room was really spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was comfy and didnt hear any traffic even though we were on main road. Would go again!
It wasn't entirely the hotels fault but I slipped when getting out of the bath because I didn't put a towel down. Maybe their should already be a bath matt down?
Comfortable, clean, free reliable wifi for hhonors members.
1. Left my suit trousers in the wardrobe - when I got home I rang several times, spoke to three different people, not one of them went to the wardrobe to get my trousers. 2. I chose this hotel for the advertised swimming pool but it was permanently closed when I arrived.
Spacious room, good value
Disappointed, the swimming pool was closed, website said the gym was being located, but we used next door hotels pool
Food in Lounge good and well served
The headline sentence is almost self- 3explanatory. With walking support necessary (a 3wheel frame) I was afraid of the stairs down from the 3rd Floor if the Lift Failed.
Great convenient location. Helpful Staff. Free Wifi if you sign up for Hilton Honours. Not a bad place to stay by any means
Hotel is showing it's age. Noisy long corridors. Bathroom a bit worn and in need of updating. Not up to expected Hilton standards considering the name
The highlight for me was very efficient and helpful staff. Nothing was too much of a problem for them. I would recommend it.
Bed was hard noisy and there was a party on until 1am. With very loud music
Lovely Lounge Area with Friendly & Professional Staff...Excellent Food and well priced for London
Room and bathroom needs updating (Soaked MDF panel on side of bath) very basic rooms for a Hilton Hotel...extension lead trailing across the wall looks awful.... Also would suggest supplying filtered water for the kettle as there was a scum on the tea when using the water from tap..seems to be a problem in a lot of the London hotels we stayed in...
Large rooms and excellent breakfast made it a good choice
the Costa coffee franchise
the bar area was unattractive and unappealing and the service was slow
The staff seemed helpful
The room was dirty, shower dripped, heating didn't work properly. The television didn't work properly. The view from the window was atrocious. Feel ripped off, would have had a better stay at a premier Inn for half the price.
It was clean, the room was well fitted and the breakfast was good.
The bar prices were a bit steep though, we would have had a few more drinks had the prices been reasonable.
Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Room was lovely.
Me and my fiancé have been to a few hotels and we have stayed in some which are just as nice just for less money..
The food was good.
Horrendous television reception, many of the staff members couldn't understand English! First bedroom suite was awful, squeaky bed and floorboards, hotel in need of major updating. Staff unhelpful most of the time and miserable, on one smiled much! I was ashamed to gay i had stayed in a Hilton hotel!
Bed was amazing and room service was fast and quality of food was very good. Bed was very comfy and room service lady was polite and efficient. Very happy. Made weekend special
The fact the site said free wifi which when we wanted to connect discovered we had to pay was disapointing. Would of improved our stay.
Size of the room
Bed noisy ever time you moved floor also very creaky pillows to soft
good location to Harry Potter studios
Website did not say the pool was closed. Noisy radiator (although they did give us a plug in heater and 2 free drink vouchers). No where to sit in the bar area.
The staff were helpful and happy to help.
The bed was like sleeping on a concrete floor. The pillows were like rocks. The sheets were horrible and the tv was incredibly fuzzy. The bath wasn't clean. It didn't get anywhere close the standard of what that chain of hotels should provide.
