big rooms good staff ample free parking
rooms a bit dated shower pressure was low
helpful reception calling taxi
-poor lighting in room -lift was broken -had to walk down corridor prepped for decorator -maid came in room before check out time -unknown charge of £5 for delivery of room service, only tol us when the staff brought the food and said 'didn't they tell you, well I'm here now'
Location. Got into london from watford junction very easy. Harry Potter Warner Bros studio literally down the road. Staff at the hotrl were extremely friendly and professional service. The hotel room was very comfortable and clean.
Like any hotel never enough coffee & tea facilities but this is the same wherever I stay. Tjis really is the only thing I can find to moan about.
Staff called me by my first name on arrival and mispronounced my name even after I corrected them. Room was located in a part of the hotel that seemed to be still under construction and smelt of glue. We were placed in rooms next to a group that were on a xmas party and were woken up in the early hours. Room should have been a deluxe room - the only thing deluxe about it was the King bed - the bathroom door had just been painted and didnt shut properly and I think we had a disabled room on the ground floor as we had a standard bathroom with a bath.
TV Movie function was not working despite repeated requests to fix.
The staff were excellent, food was good, and the whole experience was 'very good value for money'
No Problems experience do
-location, ease of check in, welcome from staff, bar hours(!)
Lift was broken, decor in the hallways is a little tired
Location, room size,
Dangerous anti speed teeth on entry fowled the bottom of the car, initial room smelt of paint and had'nt been aired. No coffee in the bar on our return from restaurant, no greeting at breakfast and food nearly empty leaving scraps at the bottom, no offer of tea/coffee. Leisure facilities feel like your in a dungeon.
The room was lovely and breakfast amazing !! One of the best I've had
Food Spa facilities Staff BREAKFAST Rooms
Beds a little hard for me but that's very personal A bit further out from Wat Junc station than I thought.
Fire alarms at 6am and raw sewage filling my bath every time someone finished their business in the room above.
Receptionist was lovely. Convenient location. Liked bits in bathroom.
Room smelled like stale smoke although new paint and new carpets. I thought there is no smoking all over. Breakfast was no better than Premier inn. Free wifi did not work.
Location great. Room & bed lovely Staff pleasant Breakfast was absolutely fabulous
Bar Staff were pleasant but incompetent, completely forgot our food order. Fire alarm at breakfast & staff ran around like headless chickens To access the car parks around the back of the hotel we passed the refuge area which was an absolute disgrace, food & rubbish everywhere!
everything was great, breakfast was brilliant
Cars parked over the pavement prevented easy access to the disabled entrance.
The service in the bar by Sunesh was excellent. Breakfast was good and the chef went out of his way to find some black pudding.
The room, a former broom cupboard so we refused it and were switched. The lighting was a disgrace. The bathroom needed refirb. We are Honours members but not given an executive room. The food was poor.
Lift wasn't easy to use.
How the room was laid out
The spa area
Tried to charge me extra money for the room
The room was enormous and very comfortable.
The staff left rubbish, dirty linen and dirty plates etc outside our room, for long periods of times not pleasant!
The location being just off the motorway and ten minutes drive into the city centre was perfect. Car parking facilities and actual windows that can open rather than the small ones that open slightly
I wouldnt say it was the worst ive slept on but the mattress left both me and my partner having sore backs after two days but it might just also be due to the adjustment of beds. The pillows were bad, it felt like there were no pillows at all, thats how flat they were
The breakfast was cold...thats twice in a row!
We took our son to the Harry Potter tour for his 9th birthday, and the staff gave him a hand-written card, some colouring books and a jar of sweets, which was amazing. We stayed in a family suite and had great fun in the lovely pool/spa area too. Thanks a lot.
The manager was polite and sympathetic after my complaint.
Went to check in at 9pm to be told the room wasnt ready and i would have to wait 15mins. When i complained to assistant manager found a room that was avaliable straight away, howeer once we went to this room it sounded like we was in a night club. The noise from the function hall was horrendous. In the end we moved rooms to the 3rd floor. Overall we was not satiafied with our stay.
efficiency on check in desk
no complementry drinking water in rooms.
Location, facilities, breakfast.
Room was more like a converted staff area, small with the bed rammed in a corner against the wall. Room number (383) was not in sequence and miles away from other 380's. Staff gave no guidance on this. Wouldnt have paid £40 for that room.
