Extremely polite staff and fantastic breakfast menu.
Banging my leg on bed corner should have soft covering on corners or mattress that extend further to the edge.
the staff were excellent friendly and helpfull
overpriced for the rating of hotel and facilities breakfast average not great
Friendly staff, A good location and a spotlessly clean hotel.
The wooden frame of the bed sticks out further than the mattress. Three of the people in our party of four banged their legs on these frames.
Location was great!
Uncomfortable bed which was two singles pulled together and extremely noisy with every move
The hotel is in a good position for getting around York. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast as with all Hilton hotels is varied with a really good choice. The staff were helpful throughout.
Staff were extremely helpful even offered our girls hot chocolates as they didn't like tea or coffee. Couldn't fault this hotel will definitely be back!
The convenience of everything.Lifts, service, reception, booking in and out/
Rooms a bit small
Hotel is over priced for what you get, Rooms are basic need modernising and a good clean. Car park prices is also over priced and should be stated when booking.
The staff made us feel welcome and could not be more helpful - great to be remembered from previous visits.
Greeted well on arrival, birthday card from hotel was in room as it was my partners birthday. Comfortable and quiet stay, memorable!
The staff were helpful the location was fab
I had paid online for two breakfasts. When I arrived the receptionist told me I hadnt despite me showing her I had. She kindly gave me a voucher for one breakfast but when I checked out I was asked to pay which I did. So I paid for three breakfasts even though I only had one. My neice who is 7 only had orange juice.
Clean room, friendly staff
Still having to pay for wifi in 2015. Expensive for a fairly standard room.
Quiet and friendly, but accessible to everything going on in York.
Bed was too small for a double
Staff were very friendly and helpful
Everything about it I stay away a lot for work Hilton was superb.
Honestly no issues the entire weekend faultless
Having biked three rooms (in advance) I was disappointed that I was put in a disabled room. Surely these should be reserved for less able bodied customers? And having booked three rooms I didn't expected my room as the party organiser to be better.
Lovely view of Clifford Tower. Concierge parking, although expensive was good value when compare to other parking alternatives.
Room nice but basic, limited beverages available in room as it was a Deluxe room.
Our room was supposed to be Delux Double. The room was only a double I have stayed in much better.Bathroom was very disapointing inthis day and age a shower over bath is not too my liking, grouting looked as if had seen better days. I wear glasses 24/7 and luckily I bought my own magnified mirror as would not have seen at all to apply make up. Not value for money compared to other hotels around the country that we have styed at for business.
Great Location, very pleasant staff.
Really uncomfortable beds, extremely noisy at night mostly from heating and extractor fans outside room.
Staff were friendly and location was very good. Also the quality of breakfast was very good!!
Away for relaxing few days with 5 month pregnant fiancée was woke by strange loud noises and noises carried on throughthe night. Internal not external noises.
Excellent, Central location.
Expensive for a very basic room - £150 without breakfast and facilities/decor no better than a premier inn.
The view from my window
Finding other people rubbish under the bed. Smokers smoke entering the room when the window was open. Overrated
again the staff was brilliant.
Location and york
When we booked we requested early checkin,on arrival room not ready and were told that it was hard luck and will have to wait 3 hours for the room.As for wifi there is no free wifi in the rooms.it will cost you £25 for 24 hours which is outrageous!!!!
Staff were all lovely and helpful
Restaurant didn't open at lunch time
