the location was central to most city attractions; the staff were friendly and helpful. not enough tea making facilities in room; ran out of brown bread and bacon at breakfast. |

the valet parking was very convenient in such a busy city. check-in and out was very easy. staff trying to enter the room to clean whilst we were still in bed. was charged for the room even though i had paid over the internet whilst booking. |

Excellent rooms. Hotel was spotless. Stayed here before, would do so again. Staff excellent. Compared to previous years the breakfasts were poor. The cooked food was awful. Cold meats and cereals were an excellent alternative though. |

Great views and close to all of yorks sights, restaurants and bars all within a short walking distanmce. Price did not include breakfast or parking. so not really value for money |

The location was excellent. Although the hotel car park was full they operated a quick and simple car service to park/collect cars from their overflow car park. Noise from the street and other rooms was annoying. |

room was lovely and clean the bed was the best i`ve ever slept in . will be staying there again. the position of the hotel was great . only down point was the price and parking .. i think £338 pounds for 2 nights was a bit expensive. |

The hilton was in a really good place for access to everything within York City Centre. The hotel was really clean and the staff were really friendly and couldnt do enough for you. The food was excellent here, when returning to York we would definately stay at the Hilton York again. |

Best position in the city. Paid £15 to park the car @ hotel but cheaper than the city centre car parks. Hotel is within 10 mins walk of everything. The river and the Minster. Lovely shops and restaurants. Will definitely return to York for a longer stay! |
