The hotel was your basic Hilton. Nice rooms. Excellent, but pricey breakfast. Staff were very nice. Very well-equipped gym.
No ale carte offerings for breakfast. Hefty charge for internet. I just had a latte, the breakfast, and used the internet and had a 42 pound bill when I left.
Location good as we had to catch 6:30am flight. We stayed the night before with our 2 kids under 5yrs. We've stayed at a premier inn before so knew what to expect, facility wise. Not plush, does the job for one night.
Woke to fire alarm! We up on 8th floor. Stair well full of guests trying to get down stairs but flow was not moving! Very scary. No staff members directing evacuation or communicating to us. Was stuck in stair well for 15-20 min. Got down to ground floor, still no obvious staff member directing or controlling evacuation. Some people stayed inside while other guests gathered at meeting point. Overall extremely poor evacuation mgmt! Thankful it wasn't a severe situation. Staff need to be trained up desperately! Don't think I'll be staying on upper floor again, and would prob consider another hotel chain. Safety comes first!
able to check in for lunchtime flight and then back for breakfast. less than 5 min walk to t4
£36 for 2 orange juice and 2 burgers
Close proximity to terminal 4 Helpful staff Good breakfast Modern facilities
High cost of parking
The bed was very comfy as were the pillows, very clean and comfortable.
Room was very dark, there was no ceiling light only lamps etc. which made the room dark. Rooms are looking quite old.
The check-in counter staff was most helpful and understanding. He explained I could use the buggy since I was alone in handling all 4 luggage. He also offered a discounted breakfast. Truly a customer service excellence staff.
The amenities wasn't replenished when we entered the room. We need to call housekeeping to get the basic amenities. This is bad service considering you knew that new guests will be using the room. Need lots of improvement in this area.
No free wifi; grubby room; one gets the feeling that greedy management is more important than customer service. It isnot that close to the airport as they would have us believe.
Very little to like.
The hotel is only convenient to Terminal 4. Quite a distance from Terminal 3. You describe some hotels as 'tired' and in need of a renovation this hotel is 'exhausted'! It is so dated and the grouting in the bathroom looks as though it has been done over on numerous occasions. You are paying high rates for a very lack lustre room. The food in the bar/ restaurant was deplorable. We ordered burgers and paid £15 for a burger which was on a par with a Burger King / McDonalds in taste and presentation. It is as if they know you are a captive audience in transit and they are going to get you while they can. The problem is that when this occurs management needs to realise you will never return. We have stayed numerous times at airport hotels and will always return when the experience is good. The hotel has quite a majestic lobby with an atrium like architecture but here again the lack of renovations and maintenance means you look up at what clearly appears to be mould right across the ceiling the ceiling. Clearly that cannot be verified but why seed the doubt in your clients who are paying good money to stay there! Clean it up guys!
An expensive airport hotel should know better than nickel and diming its customers for wifi.
I liked the ease of walking to the hotel from terminal 4 . The whole booking in and out was very efficient and the staff were very friendly and helpful
All ok, nothing exceptional however it is an airport hotel.
Very convenient location for stopover, walking tunnel nearby to Terminal 4, friendly staff, good facilities although rooms might be renovated so some signage are not correct.
The room I stayed is on executive floor, but in fact, it's not..
The proximity to Terminal 4. The only real thing which makes it worth looking at.
The price is very expensive unless your not on an expense account. There is far better value at Heathrow.
We were thrilled to be able to relax after six weeks of arduous travel in Ireland, Scotland and England. Carrying golf clubs plus a guitar plus "normal" luggage requires lots of planning. Our plans for staying at the Hilton were completely correct.
Couldn't find fault.
Internet service not good , price too high for the service provided
Easy access when driving.
Poor dinner service, misplaced our order.
The location is excellent in its proximity to Terminal 4. The room was very stylish. Also loved the pool. Staff in all areas provided 1st class service.
I didn't sleep well as a result of banging during evening - wasn't a consistent noise but sounded like doirs closing throughout the night. I used the pool twice. On one occasion there were about eight children under 10 years old diving and jumping in the pool. Whilst the siign said this was not permitted staff did not do anything to stop it. At one point children were not supervised by their parents at all.
This was a great choice for a stopover. Incredibly convenient. Nice lobby and good food at the restaurants. Staff took care of every detail. Was able to check in within minutes and leave right away in the morning to my connecting flight. A hassle free experience. Was really able to relax.
500 bucks for an unacceptably tiny, dark room and a "king sized" bed that was really more of a queen. Their "wheelchair accessible" room fell short of international standards, as there was no walk in shower. Also the fact that there is no free wifi in the room is absolutely nuts. If the hotel weren't at the airport, the room itself would be a huge ripoff.
Really enjoyed our stay at the hilton, started our holiday off in style staff so friendly and helpful.
The mini bar is pressure pad under the bottles/cans so pick them up and your charged! Should be a notice about this on the fridge and not in small print on a menu!
Although the rooms are next to Terminal 4, we could not here any noise from the aircrafts flying very nearby. The deluxe room are well worth the extra. Bathroom were immaculate. Very comfortable beds that are the landmark of the Hilton chains. Restaurant are pricey for the quality, but convenient.
No complimentary Wi-Fi
Twin bedding had white cotton duvets, showed that Hilton cares about freshness and cleanliness. Bathroom was well equipped. Food was excellent, as was the service.
Not a thing!
Concierge was not very helpful on sourcing rental car
It was an efficient, quiet and comfortable place to spend the night.
very comfortable bed nice bathroom tea and coffee facilities, bottle of water provided in room, ice available on floor lovely breakfast quick check out option and invoice emailed to me promptly
I took the bus service back to Heathrow - it would have been better to walk
The location is good.
The room is too small and outdated.
