Best Western Himley Hotel was already known to us although we hadn't visited for some years. We chose this particular hotel because it is situated in Himley village and away from the busy a449 road. We were visiting Himley Hall and Park for an evening function and the hotel is very close to the venue. We enjoyed our stay and ate the most lovely full english breakfast. Full marks.

We stayed at the hotel on our Wedding night with 6 other guests. We arrived very late and all our requests were quickly attended to. We were very happy with our room and the facilities. The breakfast staff were lovely we came to breakfast in the morning gave our room number and the lady said congratulations straight away - this was very much appreciated. They were very short staffed but again everything we asked for was provided in a timely fashion. Well Done!! We would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here with our 5 year old daughter as we were waiting to move in to our new home. We chose it as it was in a good location I.e close to the school, work etc. This is not a 'happening' hotel but ideal for couples and families looking for somewhere fairly peaceful within easy reach of Wolverhampton and Dudley. We had a problem with a (few) ants in our original room and when we mentioned this we were offered a room which was twice the size for the same price! Staff were helpful and smiley. Wireless Internet was a little patchy in our room 332

The use of the old school building for the restaurant was well thought out and added character to the otherwise dull exterior.

Convenient and very pleasant location in the countryside for visiting relatives in nearby Sedgley. Good breakfast. Overall, good value. Double room was rather small and there was insufficient space on one side of the double bed, which was virtually pushed up against the wall. The bathroom was also very small

The room was very disappointing, once you had turna shower you were unable to turn the shower off which meant you had to listen to doing water all night. More worryingly in our room was dried blood down the walls.....not good at all. Sorry should be in the box below and this box be empty..

We found the hotel well above expectations for the price paid. We booked late for one night and we found the room clean, quite spacious and bed comfortable. Breakfast was good and reception staff very pleasant and helpful. All in all a great experience at a low cost. We will certainly stay again and use booking.com for visits elsewhere. No issues to comment about.

The food was lovely the two times I ate there during my stay. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the range of tv channels was far better than most similar hotels. The shower curtain leaked water all over the bathroom floor and there was no way to stop it from happening (needed a proper cubicle) My shower wouldn't get hot on the first night, this was fixed the next day but after a long day I had to have a cold shower which wasn't great ! My room key stopped working every day of my five night stay, meaning I had to walk back down to reception every day to get it fixed. Not a big thing, but very annoying at the time.
