Himley Hotel  

The staff were very friendly, particularly with my two year old. He loved them! Breakfast was very good. Excellent value for money. Good size room. Catered for requests- we requested two rooms together in quiet area of hotel which we had. Ideal location.

Bed was short and small, could do with kingsize.

This is the 2nd time I've used the Himley Hotel Staff were very friendly. Nothing too much bother. Evening Meals were very good value.

The shower in room 204 could have been better

Location was close to my leisure activities. Rooms were spacious, good standard and well equipped. Friendly staff in the restaurant at breakfast. Reception staff were efficient and friendly.

Not enough staff to deal with the high number of people at breakfast. Items were running out and not being replaced quickly enough on the buffet.

We chose this hotel, as it was budget-friendly. We found our room to be immaculately clean and met a couple of the house cleaning staff who were lovely and very helpful and friendly.

The reception staff although efficient, were very unfriendly. When guests have travelled a long way, a warm welcome would be nice. They certainly haven't attended "charm school".

Friendly staff, especially at the bar and in the breakfast room. Tremendous value for money compared to a travelodge or premier inn

Cracked shower tray in bathroom

Staff extremely friendly, helpful, polite and professional. Food at the restaurant was very nice just a bit pricey for pub grub. Comfortable bed and powerful shower which was a delight.

Budget price was excellent. We found the room of a reasonable standard. Bathroom facilities good.

The drive leading into hotel car park was full of pot holes, also first impression of the entrance and reception was very shabby and required updating.

Staff were friendly and very helpful , hotel was warm , which was much needed as if was freezing outside

The bedroom is in need of decorating , walls marked, shower was impossible for me to turn on and off , i asked my husband to do this. No hot water in shower during our stay

everything, the place is dated , the room smelt foisty as we were only staying one night didnt complain about that , it was not what I would call hotel clean, my parents heater didnt work we couldnt get the shower to work we had to get maintenance for this we were there as my 17 year old had interview for apprenticeship the next day and lots of other parents paid less than us in nicer hotels including breakfast.

breakfast overpriced, pub round corner serves for 1/2 the price

The room was very clean and tidy. In the morning staff were very accommodating and helpful allowing us to collect breakfast to take back to the room.

Lighting in the room around the dressing table was not suitable for two ladies to do their make up. The outside of the hotel was very seventies. These points did not effect our stay and I am only mentioning them as I've been asked. A lovely comfortable hotel, we both enjoyed our stay.

Location

Unable to dine on Sunday Lunch due to a christening party and no food available Sunday evening, could not even get a sandwich. A packet of crisps had to suffice.
